Food was yummy. Quick service. Prices were good. Plenty of parking. I stopped by on a roadtrip and I’m glad I did. I Would recommend this to family and friends. I had the pad see ew with beef.

Google
Found out this restaurant on Yelp referred on the way to Folsom.city. And become our favorites restaurant every time we head to my in law. We love their food: crab fried rice And seafood pad Thai. We never eat any restaurant put that much real crab on fried rice disk. Their service is Phenomenal and very clean. We would highly recommend this Thai restaurant for everyone. Thank you for a great service.

Google
A wonderful hole-in-the-wall eatery. The service was great! The food was fantastic! I am truly glad I found this place. The whole Nut Tree Plaza is nice, especially this time of year. The Plaza is decorated with Christmas cheer. There is an active carousel, a lil' train that runs kids around and a play area. Not to mention all the businesses and the full variety food court. I ordered the crispy rolls and drunken noodles with shrimp. I loved it all. The sweet chili sauce was perfect, especially to top the egg rolls. The noodles were SO flavorful, as well. There were four rolls served first, as appetizers. The plate of noodles, shrimp and veggies was so plentiful, I had enough leftover for another meal. The chef is the waitress's brother. I love a family run business.

Google
Overall it is a very nice restaurant, very chill and relaxing to dine in, as the place is quiet and not crowded. The food is more like Thai style but has a modified taste to suit the environment, not bad. The food portions is big, basically you can eat 2 person for 1 plate dish. No any recommendations as I only take one dish thos round.

Google
I really enjoyed my green curry with tofu and my husband loved his drunken noodles. Nice to be able to customize spice level. They were very tolerant of us sitting for awhile with a friend we haven't seen in ages and kept filling our water.

Google
Hainan Chicken is terrible, dry and thinly sliced white meat (5 thin slices); which is not at all how it's supposed to be cooked/served. The stir-fry flat noodle dish my teen had was of a tiny portion. Basically all of our orders are of a small portion, totally not worth the price. We wanted to give small businesses a chance, but will def not go back again. Do not recommend.

Google
my boyfriend and i had a lovely date here! we love thai food and this restaurant is by far my favorite out of the few i’ve tried in the area. amazing food, atmosphere and service!⭐️

Google
We got the garlic, mushroom chicken stirfry. And the ginger beef stirfry. The man in the front said all their sauces are gluten-free. We thought it was delicious with fresh ingredients. Very flavorful.

Yelp
We order from Lim's every week. They are amazing! We haven't had a disappointing meal yet. They use a gluten free soy sauce and as a fellow celiac I can order almost anything that isn't fried. They go above and beyond. 10/10. The chicken broth is to die for fyi and we are such regular orderers of this that they even gave us a free one on the house can't beat this place!

Yelp
This is a small restaurant with a few tables. We had the drunken noodles which had good flavor and spice but the noodles were overdone. We also had the Japanese curry with chicken. I was hoping it would be like dishes I've enjoyed in Japan but unfortunately it was not. The service was quick and efficient.

Yelp
I ate here with my boyfriend on a stormy rainy night. We were driving to Monterey and made a stop for dinner in Vacaville. There were only 2 people in the restaurant at the time we went in. There was guy who came after us. The lady took our orders quickly and the food came out fairly quickly also. I ordered the original which is a plain poached chicken over seasoned rice and it comes with soup apparently. My boyfriend ordered the chicken curry. The rice was very fragrant from being seasoned with the chicken broth. Both were very good! The only complaint I had was that my food was lukewarm and my boyfriend's fried chicken came out piping hot. I also had soup with my dish and the lady brought it out 5 minutes after she brought out my main dish and I was eating already. The soup was hot though. I have a pet peeve about lukewarm food and don't like cold food. I tried my boyfriend's dish and it was good also. Overall, the food was good and would return again.

Yelp
A+! Everything is delicious! It's a small establishment with a casual ambiance. It's definitely ran well. Service is quick. The red curry is my favorite and now I can't find a comparable restaurant in Stockton! Highly recommend.

Yelp
There's this airy vibe the moment you enter and though the place is small, it felt cozy. The light interior paint makes the place seem bigger than it is and a welcoming smile from the staff is always nice. They have a variety of dishes you can choose from. Our first time, we had pad Thai and tofu Panay curry both have this smoky hint that made the flavor bold and savory. On our next visit, we tried the appetizers: fresh spring roll and deep fried tofu. On both occasions, we were definitely satisfied. The food is delicious and worth coming back for.

Yelp
I tried this place months back when it was chicken hawkers and it was good. So we decided to go back as they had the same menu, and order more plates. So let's start the review. Walking inside, it was very cozy and looked nice and clean in there. There was a lady working the front and seemed to be nice. I let her know I was picking up an order and they had it ready. There was no other interaction after that aside from paying. I ordered the Japanese chicken curry which was flavorful but the chicken was a little dry this time around. I was disappointed. The Gai Tod came plain (they forgot to give me the sweet chili sauce it comes with). It was hard to eat as it was lacking flavor and had no sauce to dip it in. I called them to let them know I was missing a sauce and they didn't really seem to care. The lady just said oh sorry and that was it. I was disappointed in that also. The pad see ew was decent but definitely not the best. Overall, I was disappointed. We paid $58.09 for three dishes that weren't worth it. They are on the pricier side but since we tried a plate once and thought it was good, we wanted to support them again as they are a smaller business. However, I don't think we'll be returning due to the customer service, quality of food and the price.

Yelp
My fiance and I have been coming to this restaurant since it was Chicken Hawkers. We can definitely say that the addition of more food in the menu since it turned to Lim's had been so great! My fiance loves the friend rice here but today we got something different since it's raining haha... the lady who always wait us was great today with the orders and checking in on us to make sure we are alright! The restaurant is a little small but after the takeover they added tables and chairs so we can dine in a little longer. A little note I can say is that I wish the Japanese curry had the pickled toppings like they had before since I loved the bite of the pickled radish/onions they added on prior. I think it just needs a little more presentation but flavor is super good regardless Can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
The food here is very good and flavorful. I ordered the ginger stir fry and crab rangoon. My only complaint is the crab rangoon. It was burnt. Service is great. Plenty of parking around the shopping area.

Yelp
I've been here previously when it was chicken & rice spot. We loved it and we were sad that it shut down. We were pleasantly surprised that this place also serves chicken and rice! We love it and there's not many places nearby that sell it. We opted for the original and it came with soup, breast & thigh meat with cucumbers, rice and dipping sauce. The meat is juicy and tender and flavorful, the rice was a little bit mushy but they were fairly new and still working kinks out. The soup was so good, it was nice and savory. I haven't tried their other dishes yet but looking forward to it. Can't wait to try their chicken and rice again. Total for 2: $40

Yelp
What a nice little local Thai restaurant! We were driving from Napa back to SMF to fly home and wanted non-airport food for dinner. So glad we stopped by the Nut Tree Plaza to stretch our legs. Lim's wasn't busy, so we decided to give it a go for dinner. It was a great experience all-around! The restaurant is very small and nondescript, and the atmosphere isn't swanky. It's pleasant I suppose, but this isn't a cushy sit-down place (it has the atmosphere of a Carl's Jr.). We were promptly greeted by a kind woman and placed our order for Pad Thai and Mushroom Beef. We watched the cooks fire our orders. Everything seemed to be freshly prepared, and it took less than 15 minutes to get our meals on the table! The portion sizes were on par for a Thai restaurant, not quite large enough but not super tiny, either. The food was tasty. It's not difficult to mess up Pad Thai, and mine was very good. You can specify the spice level, and mine was a perfect mild. My friend loved her beef too, but I didn't try it. She went for the medium-spicy and was sweating, as she said "in a good way!" This is a good place to get Thai food if you're out and about in the area.

Yelp
Lim's is one of the best to ever do it! The service is fast and friendly and they do a great job of making you feel right at home when you're there. The location is quaint and intimate and you get a smile from all the customers as soon as you walk in the door. It's like you're in the club with cool kids who know that Lims is the best kept secret.

Yelp
Located at the former Nut Tree, right next Fentons, is this small Thai restaurant. There wasn't anyone in the space when we came in but we decided to eat here because it was highly rated on Yelp. The waitress was very attentive. Our food came out hot and fast. I had a chicken pad thai which hit the spot. The portions were huge. This is a very good place to eat while you're in the Nut Tree!

Yelp
Mm mmm mmmm! Coming from the biggest food snob in town, let me tell you, this place is amazing! Every dish was full of flavor and the service was great! There were so many vegetarian options I couldn't make up my mind. We will be back for more!
google avatar

Yelp
I tried Lim's Thai Cuisine out. I ordered the Drunken Noodle with pork. Added more pork for an additional $2. Every bite had pork in it !! Really solid Drunken Noodles. Very well done. I liked it and would go again. Try them out. I think you'll like them too.

Yelp
Went in super hungry and came out full and satisfied. Just drove and wanted Thai food decided to give this place a try. We are never in this area so it was pretty random. The service is very good, didn't get the name but the woman in front was very attentive. Quick to ask if we needed anything and fill our waters. Our food came out in a nice timely matter and all the dishes were spot on! It's nice and modern inside with authentic flavors of Thai food. Not too loud but not too quiet in there. The fried tofu is deep fried dusted with salt crunchy on the outside and nice hot soft tofu in the inside. Japanese curry with chicken was really delicious as well. Not too salty and not too watered down. The chicken is lightly battered and fried. Very tasty with the curry. Red curry has so much flavor and just enough veggies and meat. Pad Thai was also very flavorful. Not too dry not too wet! I had no complaints for anything. I enjoyed everything! Thai tea was also very good. Parking is plenty and shared with many businesses in the area.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and larger portion than expected. Very fresh and well seasoned. Wish has more time to try out other dishes. Definitely coming back next time in town.

Yelp
Located in the Nut Tree shopping center and right next to Fenton's in a little corner. The portion servings were great. Lots of meat and vegetables on a large plate. I recommend the chicken yellow curry, possibly the tastiest curry I've had after eating at many Thai restaurants nearby and in Sacramento. They really pack it with meat and vegetables, and the taste is fantastic. No fish options that I saw so that was a bummer. Meats available are chicken, tofu, beef, shrimp, and plain vegetables. Seating inside can be limited. Overall a simple Thai restaurant that's great for lunch or a quick meal. Really enjoyed it here.

Yelp
Decided to try something new since we were in the area. Decided on this spot & ordered the brocolli w beef & the ground chicken larb salad. We ordered to go & the first thing I noticed was how small the portion is for the price. I was thinking I could share the brocolli beef with my partner but it such a small portion we still shared but only had a few bites each. It was delicious though. I did not like the larb salad. The toasted rice flavor overpowered the dish & it wasn't fresh tasting like other larb salads I've had at other restaurants. I also really disliked the lettuce served. It was super waxy & gave a strange mouthfeel as I was eating. Based on the high prices on small portions & only 1/2 of the dishes being tasty I probably won't be back. Maybe if they have a lunch special w beef and broccoli I would though?

Yelp
Excellent curry and I loved the Thai shrimp fried rice. Not your normal tiny bay shrimp. Good sized shrimp (21/25) ... very generous portion. I requested spicy for both dishes and surprisingly great favor. Chicken curry dish very flavorful and good portion for the price...

debbie s.

Yelp
Driving thru town and needed dinner-- this place is in a corner and hard to see so look for Fentons Ice Cream as it is next door. Small, bright and comfy, service was fast and friendly. Thai ice coffee wasn't as sweet as so many which is a plus in my book. Glass noodles with shrimp (7 large prawns!) was great. Panang curry with chicken- not dried out!-- was very tasty and even the mild had a bit of zing. Food came out fast and hot. Would stop again!

Yelp
I love eating here. The service is fast and friendly, food is tasty and they accommodate gluten free. This is my go to spot for Thai food in Solano County.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!! We had 3 dishes and they were all delicious. I've tagged them so we stop here next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!

Wendy G.

Yelp
What a hidden gem. We were passing through and looking for a place to eat on the way to the bay. We all decided on Thai from the restaurants at The Nut Tree, there's a ton of options. The server looked like a K-pop anime doll, wanted a picture so bad for the review, but no creeper vibes here. Ordered a cup of soup and a huge bowl was brought out with 3 cups to serve the table. We tried the chicken eggs rolls, Pad See Ewe, green curry, and stir fri with salmon. Everything was phenomenal, really good. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
google avatar

April S.

Yelp
The spring rolls are really good and the spicy peanut sauce is good with them. The garlic mushroom beef is very good as well. The pad Thai is very basic, bland, nothing memorable or that I would order again. The shrimp on it smelled and tasted old. Won't order that again. Staff nice.
google avatar

Allison M.

Yelp
Got the drunken noodle, Japanese chicken curry, and red curry. All were really delicious! The Japanese chicken was especially delightful! Good sized portions! Happy they are in the Nut Tree!

Yelp
I'm in this neighborhood again. This kitchen have a modern interpretation. I was the only one there when I arrived, and I was the only one there when I finished and pulled out. This is on a Thursday, and this Thursday. There should be more people there, but for some reason there wasn't. Some people out there tell me they don't like Curry. I don't know why, but I can understand that. They asked some of your favorite rap stars out there if they like Curry. They probably might say their favorite Curry is Butter Chicken, Biryani, or Tandoori Chicken. That's the most basic answer ever. Some people out there might ask how about the Jamaican Goat Curry? I don't want to talk about the Goat Curry. I say I can't imagine consuming a goat. Then some people out there might ask, how about the Lamb Korma? I stopped consuming Lamb too. The farthest I'll go is Mutton Chop, Elk, Antelope, Venison, or Duck. No Alligator, Kangaroo, Ostrich, Whale, or Eel. If a girl like Rahavard Farahani asked me if I like Curry? It would probably be Phanaeng Curry. This is the most distant type of Curry to the other Curries out there. This is from a different region in the world. I've had some other things with Kaffir Lime Leaves, and this is the same concept. Not everything needs fish sauce, but fish sauce makes this Red Curry I guess. I like the Sauce to be thick. I don't want to talk about what makes it thick, they should know out there. This actually don't need to be with Chicken. It can be with anything like Veggies. I've had this somewhere else that had Pineapples in it, I don't know if that's authentic. But this variation of this dish, was exceptional. And if it wasn't spicy enough, there's pickled and fermented chili that compliment it. Not everybody out there can handle the heat though. I'm also familiar with regular Milk Tea, but I never had a Green Milk Iced Tea like this until now. I liked everything here.

Yelp
it's tucked away and super quiet. The food is delicious. I don't typically order chicken when i go out but man the Gai Tod was cooked perfectly. i paired it with sum tom. the juice was so cooked i drank it up! Service was great. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Zo N.

Yelp
First and foremost, the staff greeted us upon coming in. We went during the week, so it was not busy at all. The area is quite small, but they made use of the spacing and the area was clean. Our food came out in a timely manner and was served hot and most of all delicious. Just like the food, the service was amazing. None of us had any discrepancies with our orders, and it was exactly what we wanted to a T. I have always enjoyed Thai cuisine, so I will definitely be coming back to this establishment.
google avatar

Ali T.

Yelp
A great Thai restaurant! The food was well prepared in time and with care. The service was top notch too. I will definitely will be going back again!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot , the chicken hawker dishes are the ones to get. Run don't walk and maybe grab an ice cream at Fentons also
google avatar

Salvador G.

Yelp
This is a place that I would highly recommend the food is delicious the service is excellent and the ambience is very tranquil. You cannot go wrong with the ingredients and the flavor and the pricing is impressive for the plate and the size of a meals. Come and enjoy. Sorry I didn't add any pictures because I was so hungry I just digged into everything but we had pad Thai drunken noodles and beef stew noodle soup and it was delicious
google avatar

Ric B.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and my wife had the Gai Yang and I had the Gai Tod. Both were excellent! Highly recommend!

Andrea G.

Yelp
Was our first time here. Fast and friendly service. Portions are very large and filling. We ordered the Japanese Curry, Gai Tod, and calamari, with two sides of steamed vegetables. The chicken was crispy and light. The calamari was crunchy and not too oily like others. The sweet chili dipping sauce is addictive. Everything tasted great. When we first entered, a woman on her way out told us she often took her family there, and that we "wouldn't be disappointed." We were not.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Weird atmosphere. When you walk in you're greeted with floor fans to trip over and a hostess/cashier that hasn't a clue how to talk to people. When she answers the phone she just says "hello?" When I ask her for extra protein in my dishes which I'm willing to pay extra for ( and you can order extra on door dash ) she just says "no". Huh??? What restaurant says "no" to making money? I ordered the pad Thai with shrimp for $4.00 extra ( since she wouldn't let me order more protein ) and I received 2 shrimp .. so I paid $2 per dried and over cooked shrimp. Portions are the smallest in town and flavorless. Very shocking for them being located in such a prime location ( Nut Tree Plaza Vacaville ), I do not expect Lims to last long. Poor quality food and poor customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
12/22/23- After a day of Christmas shopping in the Vacaville area, saw this small Thai restaurant and checked out Yelp first. Decided to give it a try to see if a good score will suit my taste buds! Place is small, there was one empty table for a group of 5. Greeted as soon as we walk in the door, a huge plus even just to acknowledge that "we're Here!" :) Their menu is plain and simple, too simple that it has no photos (thanks to Yelp for pics!) and only back to back laminated menu, but has pricing and description, so that's fine. Ordered Egg plant coco something with tofu, spicy (level of spicyness is just right, not to spicy) it's just like a hint of spice! Garlic mushroom beef as well has a lot of bold flavor, good combination with white rice. I got medium spicy but it's like close to none on the spicy part. I just think that the beef would have been grilled more for taste and color, but it's not that bad. The chow mein with beef uses those very small thin noodles comparable to instant ramen which suprises me. But it was good despite of the noodles. Service with Annie was superb! She was very polite, does not keep on asking if the food is okay, which I like. One time asking is enough for me rather than keep on asking and asking. She tends to needs right away! Great attitude and excellent service! Prices range for 15$ and up, it's worth it since one serving proportion is good enough to be shared by two people. It is indeed an authentic Thai cuisine whenever you are in the area! Place could be small but don't let that throw you out, give it a try and rate it! Will be back again for more! Cash or card accepted, tips appreciated! Will be back for other good stuff to try! Thank you!

Yelp
Food is so good love the Hainanese chicken and Pad see ew. Will keep on coming back.

Yelp
I tried this place once so far and after the first time, I was mind- blown. I ordered dinner via DoorDash to give them a try. I enjoy trying different places especially if they are local. I love the fact that when you order an entree or noodles from here they give you spice level options. I was craving noodles and something spicy so I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and selected the level of "Thai spicy" and the calamari appetizer. Let me just say the drunken noodles was very delicious and the spice level was really spicy, which made the dish even better. I love food with kick so I can't wait to try more dishes from this place. The calamari was good and crunchy and happy they provided sweet and sour dipping sauce. Definitely going to come back and try other dishes. It's so good and made an impression on me.

Yelp
Annie and her brother (the chef) are such wonderful people firstly and the food is SO good!! My husband and I are vegans and Annie happily accommodates and her brother kindly makes all of dishes so. We also like light sodium just because we like the taste that way and they kindly adjust to our request too. The food is so fresh, made with care, and plenty - it is our go-to place! Everything is always spot on and the atmosphere and seating in the space is very welcoming, warm, inviting and so comfy. We absolutely recommend this spot to anyone who loves good food that's cooked with care and love.
google avatar

Estelle D.

Yelp
Best and most authentic Thai food in the area!! -Drunken noodles were amazing, just the right amount of spice. - Gai Tod is the BEST dish with crispy light batter on the chicken, sweet chilli and super fragrant chicken rice. Portions are big and well worth it too!

Red P.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere, it felt like I was in a nice studio apartment which had a very warm cozy vibe to it. The service was great I didn't have to wait to long for my food. And speaking of the food it was amazing it felt like a flavor explosion in my mouth, I got the medium spice pad thai with chicken. The food was so good and the vegetable next to it (it was either bean sprout or mung bean I don't know) but it added a perfect crunch and freshness to the oily pad thai making it a great addition to the dish! Overall 10/10
google avatar

Surya K.

Yelp
Lim's took over the old Chicken Hawker space, kept some of the older menu items and revamped everything with Thai. If you like your Thai on the fresh and delicious side, then give Lim's Thai a try. The menu is simple to understand, pick a curry, pick a protein and voila. Pick a style dish, pick a protein, chicken, pork, beef, but shrimp costs extra, about a buck more. The pad see eew with shrimp or the chicken fried rice are some of the best I've ever had. Plate licking good! The atmosphere is clean and the space is small. There's no wine or beer (Hope that will change) and the food is fresh and delicious, garlicky delicious! On the basil chicken I could've used a more refined cut of the veggies as they were a bit big, but hey quantity counts and you're getting the value. The proprietor Lim is a very nice lady to boot. She's kind and gentle in nature and always willing to give you the best service.

nadine q.

Yelp
The food came in good portions and was delicious. The Thai ice tea and Thai green tea really helped to hit the spot.
google avatar

Sasha D.

Yelp
I really love going here for lunch during my lunch hours. I would say my favorite meal to get here is the Japanese Curry on their specialties menu. Their food portions are pretty big, I could never finish a meal and usually take them back for left overs. I usually go in to get a Thai Ice Tea before my shift at work, and Lim's Thai Cuisine is my go-to spot for Thai ice tea, and it's the best That Ice Tea I've found so far. The restaurant is usually quiet, but not too quiet. I enjoy the peace I get at this restaurant when I go and dine-in.
google avatar

Lisa Z.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. My drunken noodles were outstanding. Great portion size and not over loaded with vegetables. I highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance was enjoyable as well.

Yelp
This place was super yummy! We ordered their Pad see ew with chicken as well as their thai fried rice. They had good portions and both dishes were delicious. We went on a Friday around 4 pm and didn't have to wait for a table at all.

Yelp
Shout out loud for great Thai food here. I'm Thai and I recommend this place. If there anyone is looking for authentic Thai food, DO NOT miss this. The food are amazing and also services. We got food really quick and delicious. Miss Ann the owner, she is really nice and kind. My family and I came back here for 2 times in a week. Sorry for the photo of all the food because we ate so fast not even have time to get one

Bob W.

Yelp
Very good. Fresh and hot. Fast service. I've only done takeout, but nice atmosphere inside. I recommend it.

Lisa C.

Yelp
I highly recommend Lima's Thai Cuisine if you love freshly made wholesome ingredients and phenomenal Thai cooking. The good is fresh, tasty and quick serve. The service is kind, prompt, and professional. Lim's is small but mighty, the ambiance is chic and confident and the price is very reasonable. I give it 5 stars.... And I love Thai food.

Yelp
The food was OUTSTANDING! We literally could not stop eating. We got Thai basil rice and guy Todd chicken! Mmmmmm delicious!
