Lina Ryad & Spa

"The Lina Ryad & Spa is the best hotel in Chefchaouen—staffers Ibrahim and Ashraf made us feel at home, even offering to run out for sfinge (the local donut) when we said we wanted to try one. If you’re okay with a chorus of cats all night, get a room overlooking the town (it’s worth it). The hammam, which has an indoor pool, is simple but clean, and the treatments are incredible—the young woman who sloughed off half my skin swaddled me in a robe, then pinched my cheeks with a smile." — Yolanda Edwards"

We have been thrilled with Lina Ryad and Spa. The rooms and bathroom are beautiful and spacious with nice toiletries. The spa treatments available are so reasonable and amazing including the "hammam" which is a body scrub on wet marble by Lupna, who did a wonderful job. I also enjoyed one of the best 60 minute massages and 30 minute foot massages of my life with Ikram!! There is a beautiful indoor pool to enjoy (and you can even reserve it for free for an hour if you wish). The location is great and you can walk around all the beautiful blue streets and vendor markets. The staff has been incredibly accommodating. There is no elevator and it takes some effort to get from the main street through the alleyways to get to the hotel itself…upon the way in... however, their porters are very willing and able to help with your luggage… So it was no problem at all. They also have a rooftop terrace with lovely views of the city, particularly in the evening. Also, the food is delicious, varied and plentiful! Their welcome "lemon juice drink" is out of this world delicious! I would also like to recognize Hajar, Nejwa, Saada and Hossein who all made our visit extra special! I would not hesitate to recommend Lina Ryad and Spa when visiting Chefchaouen!

Everything was perfect. The first day we walked to the Spanish Mosque for the sunset when the view from our patio was just as good! We had an issue with our train service and they took the time to sort it out for us. They are very pleasant and kind. The Riad is in a great location, and the pool was a hit!

I came for the spa experience and it was incredible. I arrived and they offered me coffee or tea, I had as long as I wanted to drink my coffee before being ushered through to get changed. The hammam experience was so brilliant, the lady who did it took such care of me, the massage and facial after was also good. Overall, a real treat!

Stayed one night at riad Lina. We got a room on the third floor, outside. It was a hard climb and not very pleasant, but the terrace was nice and big. The room looked dated with many windows facing public spaces but the bed was very comfortable with nice linens. Breakfast was great

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very gracious and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and served quickly. We took advantage of the Hammam and massage service and we’re so happy that we did. As others have mentioned, if you need help with your luggage, call ahead and they will send a porter to meet you. It seems like a long way up the road when you first arrive, but it’s actually just a five minute walk. The location is perfect for visiting shops, other restaurants, and taking a small walk up to the mosque. We highly recommend this ryad.

What an amazing experience I had at Lina Ryad and Spa. I booked on the day and they were happy to accommodate me for a hammam and 60 minute massage. Both of my therapists were exceptional. The spa is clean, comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend Lina’s spa.

Wonderful riad in the heart of Chefchaouen. The customer service was impeccable. Everyone had excellent English and was very accommodating to all our needs. One of the best meals we had during our ten day trip. Women owned and run business. |Highly recommend it.

Chefchaouen is a stunning city and a must visit in Morocco. Unfortunately, we booked a room with mountain views and we given room #2 with no view, except the alley full of trash and right above the kitchen. The fish smell from the night's dinner was so awful they brought up airfreshner and a candle for us. The noise from the kitchen starting early in the morning was even better :(. For a 5 star Riad and the cost, we expected much more. They are very nice and professional though and the pool was delightful. Breakfast was nice. Definitely not the top Riad, the awards or reviews boasted, which we were hoping for.
