Panglao Pearl Premier White Sand Resort (Formerly Linaw Beach Resort)

PP is absolute waterfront! The views are spectacular, it’s full of rustic charm, beautifully maintained gardens, the restaurant has good food, pool is large & deep enough, the rooms are enormous. We ended up on 2 separate bookings as plans changed so we have stayed in the unrenovated & newly renovated rooms; both are good. The staff are very helpful & warm, calling cars, guides & tuk tuks for us, organising the washing service & are very attentive in the restaurant in particular. Thanks guys, you know who you are! The resort dogs respectful & I never once saw dog poo. This hotel is an older style building & renovations under the new owner are in the works. Having said that, while a bit ‘faded’ this is reflected in excellent rates. The driveway needs to be fixed but I’m assured this is planned. The neighbourhood is a bit tucked away in Danao in amongst local homes & dive resorts so it’s quiet & 5-10mins ride away from the hubbub of Alona. All you’ll hear is the clinking of scuba tanks & the boats on the water. There is a wide mix of nationalities represented in the guests

This is my first time staying in a quite expensive hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff are the best. The food is great. The service is just 5 star. If you want to be in a peaceful place while in Panglao, definitely a good option.

We love our stay in Panglao Pearl. The food is amazing, the staffs are very accommodating and I must say, really knows great customer service! The place is very peaceful also. Perfect for families who are avoiding the rush of the main touristy areas in Panglao.

Apartment B needs renovation and aircon maintenance or upgrade. Poor ventilation contrary to Apartment A. We stayed for 4 nights. The overall facilities are okay and all the staff are nice. I believe it is just the room that needs improvement

Very affordable. The beach front is very beautiful and the sunsets to die for. The restaurant food is very delicious and very affordable. The best part is the staff, they are supper friendly and very accommodating.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. Met fellow travellers at breakfast, it was quiet and had great service. We were happy with our 2-bedroom apartment with good ac and internet. The only thing I would say is it’s away from the hustle and bustle for peace and quiet which means you need your own vehicle or hire transport to get to town.

We had such a wonderful stay at Panglao Pearl Resort! Huge shoutout to Jelly and Giovanne at the front desk — their warmth and professionalism truly made our trip extra special.||We were pleasantly surprised when our seaview room had direct pool access — such a treat! The entire place is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a quiet getaway. The beach isn’t really swimmable, but the pool more than makes up for it. I already miss hearing the wind while lounging on the sunbeds.||Breakfast is plated but very filling, and I recommend ordering a day ahead as it can get busy. The seafood platter (₱2,600) was absolutely worth it — fresh and delicious!||Grab rides can be hard to come by, but they’re much cheaper than tuktuks. Thankfully, the front desk can also help arrange tours and transport.||Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and amazing service. Will definitely be back! ||
