This spot is conveniently located about a 5-minute drive from Lindesnes Lighthouse. The service is good, and the area is right by the sea. A few parking spots offer a direct, though narrow, view of the horizon. A short 100-meter walk to the beach opens up much wider sea views. It seems to be particularly popular with German visitors.
The terrain is a bit challenging due to elevation changes, which makes parking a bit haphazard. There are also some hidden rocks in the grass that could scrape the underside of a car. Some areas have loose, earthy soil that would be unpleasant to walk on in the rain and problematic for heavy vehicles. The service facilities (toilets, showers, dishwashing) are too small for the number of visitors the area accommodates. The 10 NOK coin-operated showers are also a bit outdated.
