So delicious!!! We waited at the front for a while, but eventually someone came out to seat us. Their menu was on the chalk board. The panfried arctic char was AMAZING. I tried it three more times throughout Iceland, and this was by far the best I had. Be sure to check out the little beach and dock that are right out front. Beautiful spot!

The dinner was great! I recommend the reindeer burger and the fish soup, they were delicious. The chocolate mousse was also a great suggestion from the house. Don't forget to claim your 5% discount if you are staying at Bjork Gesthouse :)

I had the pan-fried Arctic Char with this very small interesting pasta (which was like barley to me) and a SUPER delicious potato pie side. But when it was served to me, I found a strand of wool on top of my food. And that could totally have been from my woolen top and not from the kitchen but I gave 4 stars because my partner had the reindeer burger with fries and mentioned that the patty was under seasoned. But overall, we had a superb experience!! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful! And the music is AWESOMEEEE! It had me grooving the whole time I was here!

Without exaggerating, the reindeer burger was easily one of the best burgers, and meals, we've ever had. It was tough to decide between that, or the fish, but reindeer won out. But don't pass on the fish either. A fellow diner declared it was the best fish she has had in Iceland. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The fact that we got to pet their Golden Retriever was just icing on the cake. Can not recommend enough. Magnificent!!!

We went to Lindin on the off chance after an excursion finished fairly late. Oh my gosh we were pleasantly surprised - the food here is absolutely excellent. The menu is not extensive, but if there is something you like on the menu then you are in for an absolute treat. Definitely worth a visit...

Lindin is located next to the geothermal pools at Laugarvatn. The restaurant is cozy with windows facing the lake, offering nice views. We had the fish soup and the tomato soup with a bread roll. Both were delicious and much appreciated on a cold rainy October day. Prices are a bit high at 3500 ISK (25 USD) for a bowl of soup. I wanted to try the Arctic char but at 5500 ISK it was much more expensive and out of my budget for lunch.

This place was a great find. The server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I had the reindeer burger which was very good. My wife had the fish soup which she also loved. A dessert of chocolate cake was a real treat! Served warm in a bowl with fresh whipped cream. Their hot chocolate is also worth a try.
