One of the best meals I had in Iceland. The reindeer burger and the arctic char pasta was soo good. Everything was reasonably priced as the food was fresh, flavors were perfect and the service was good. Must try restaurant for sure

Simple accessible menu still tended to by the chef/owner. Owner was very nice and stopped by several times. We had a late lunch and there was a constant flow of small groups coming in. Looked like there was outdoor seating but with the weather in the area, I imagine it’s often wet. The reindeer burger was good. Artic char was nice but I’ve concluded I’m not a fan of this fish in general. The skyr mousse was nice but quite thick still. The menu seems to change frequently and you order by taking a photo of the menu.

The fish soup was delicious and doesn’t smell fishy, the reindeer burger was yummy and you can’t tell it’s a deer meat sweet and juicy. Beef burger is also good as well. We would love to come back and try other dishes.

Absolutely fantastic Restaurant - probably the best fish we had in Iceland, also great fish soup, homemade desserts and delicious macciato! They also have burgers, they looked fabulous but we didn't try them. They do everything the old fashioned way and very honestly. Definitely worth the money!!!! Very friendly staff from PL, thank you very much.

Lindin is a cozy spot along Iceland’s Golden Circle, known for its warm, homey atmosphere and friendly service. It’s a hidden gem where travelers can enjoy authentic Icelandic cuisine with a lakeside view. The menu features fresh local fish, lamb, and unique wild game like reindeer or puffin, prepared with care and flavor. Definitely try their signature fish soup. One of the best I’ve ever had!

The reindeer burger and arctic char are unbelievable. The owner is the friendliest man and made our meal so enjoyable! A must stop on your way to Thingvellir NP from Gullfoss and the Geysir!

Hidden little gem of a place and well worth going out of your way for the experience. I had the reindeer burger which was cooked to perfection and very juicy. My wife had a fish duo special and she all but licked her plate clean! The chocolate cake dessert was served warm and very decadent with a rich flavor. The chocolate mousse was good but I think you would be better served with another option. The berry mixture used in the mousse didn’t do the dish any favors.
