Excellent little centre with a good amount of information about Lindisfarne. There are numerous displays and interactive features, and a video screening as well. It gives a very good overview on the island and places like the lime kilns. Perhaps best are the many displays concerning the Lindisfarne Gospels - details on how and when they were made - fascinating. Entry price is very reasonable - well worth it.

Very informative with a film also giving history. Reasonably priced. Everything was well presented and easy to enjoy

Such a lovely experience, driving accross the causeway and the old Abbey is stunning in its unique island setting, with sense of peace and calm within the walls. £23 entry for both of us. We ate our butties in what would have been the monks quarters. Stunning views of the castle and lovely walks around the island. We also walked just beyond the castle to the beach, where you can also walk into the old salt stores. Great day .... would recommend 👌

A wonderful historic place, but not too commercialised.

A great little museum hidden away on over of the neck streets in the village. Lots of interactive activities for the kids to enjoy and lots of information about Lindisfarne, the Vikings, the Lindisfarne gospels and a bit about the island and their flora and fauna. Really well priced as well. A family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children was only £10. Much cheaper than the English Heritage museum but also larger and more interactive.

This is not the National Trust place. I'd recommend turning left after you walk down from the car park (this was right). This is a limited but interesting exhibit about vikings, overpriced and superseded by other exhibits on the island.
