Lindner Hotel Antwerp - JDV by Hyatt

Great hotel for a weekend in Antwerp I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were warmly welcomed at reception and allowed to temporarily store our luggage as our room wasn’t ready yet. Around 3:00 PM, we were able to check into our room, which was larger than average and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Everything was in working order, and the room was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely and well-decorated bar near the entrance where you can grab a tasty treat whenever you want. In the evening, we chose to dine at the Arivé restaurant on the first floor, and the food was delicious. I had the carpaccio, but unfortunately, the balsamic dressing on it wasn’t to my liking. It was too overpowering, and you couldn’t taste much of the rest of the dish. This wasn’t mentioned on the menu (though it was online, which I discovered later). I politely mentioned this, but nothing was done about it. I didn’t eat the whole dish, but I didn’t want to make a fuss or cause a discussion. The staff did their best, despite being quite busy with only three people. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is a great choice for a weekend in Antwerp, and I would highly recommend it!

I was with Gate 1 on a Belgian Tour from Oct. 29th through Nov. 4th where we stayed each night at the Linder Hotel. I loved the beautiful lobby with the attractive bar on one side and ample seating on the opposite side. Alexander and his co worker were very attentive, courteous and personable. Alexander was on his own as was Igor, taking food orders on Sunday night, Nov. 2nd. There were 3 times as many visitors that evening with only those 2 servers. They didnt become rude, short or angry working so hard at their positions! Bravo to Igor and Alexander. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with comforyable beds. It was great that we could forgo daily room cleaning and get a free drink at the bar. Our breakfast foods were plentiful and delicious with a wonderful variety! The staff was attentive and quick to replenish dishes when they got low. Thank you to them as well as the staff who cleared and cleaned tables. Great location too, close to Central Railroad Station and to the local shops and sites, as well as the thrifty store just down the block.

This is a really great hotel which, although situated next to Antwerp Central Station, can still be a five or so minute walk from where your train arrives. Antwerp Central Station is huge! The staff at reception could not have been friendlier. We were even told about local events going on in Antwerp over the time we were staying. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The bar in the hotel was really pleasant: the drinks were not overly expensive and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Again, the bar staff were friendly and willing to make off-menu cocktails. There was also a DJ on the Friday evening we arrived. Breakfast was very good and there was a good selection of hot and cold food including pancakes, waffles, fried and scrambled eggs, chicken sausages, bacon, fresh fruit, cheeses etc. I also read that a lot of their produce comes from the local farmers. So all in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would love to return.

Fantastic service. Fabulous restaurant with great food and staff. Very clean, nice music by the DJ. Reception staff were nice. Close to the train station and shopping centre is about 25 mins walk.|Gino most especially was amazing throughout our stay. He ensured we were all comfortable and well catered for. He ensured our table had all we needed.|Glory, from housekeeping was also very lovely. |I definitely recommend this place and would visit again.

Review of Hotel Lindner by Hyatt 1. Perfect location — right next to the central train station, yet completely quiet. The area is beautiful and safe, as it’s where the famous Diamond District begins. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the old town along a lovely street full of shops. 2. The hotel itself is excellent — attentive and friendly staff, a varied and very tasty breakfast. After a long trip, we especially appreciated the sauna, which was a great bonus for rest and recovery. The beds are very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. 3. Parking is located right next to the hotel — spacious and convenient. The cost is €26 per day. A big plus for us was the availability of charging stations for electric cars. 4. The hotel is dog friendly 🐾 — the extra charge for staying with a dog is €25. ✨ Overall, we had a wonderful stay, felt fully rested and recharged after our trip. Many thanks to the whole team of the hotel!

I had a great stay at the Lindner Hotel in Antwerp. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bar was very nice. The location was convenient—close to the train station and in a safe area. A special shout-out to the cleaner, Yang Chen, who did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless and even brought extra robes. The only downside was the nearby construction, which made it a bit loud at night. Overall, I still felt comfortable and well taken care of, and I would recommend the hotel.

Thank you, Gino, for always providing outstanding service. The breakfast is consistently well-prepared, and the conversations are always warm and spontaneous. The bar is very welcoming, the rooms are well-maintained, and the hotel is conveniently close to Antwerp city center. It’s also right by the central station, which is perfect for those traveling by public transport. There’s plenty of parking available beneath the hotel as well. In short, we always choose to stay here whenever we want to enjoy a night out in Antwerp.

3 days into our stay I have to come to the conclusion that service staff in this hotel is either not enjoying their work or not well trained. 1) at breakfast so far, we havn’t a received a friendly „good-morning“. One day Croissants weren’t topped up the other the salmon. Bacon seems to be unavailable on all days. Instead of being guided and were told which table to sit on and more importantly which not in a rather unfriendly tone. 2) Needed to wait good 20 minutes at the bar to be greated and asked if I would like to have a drink. With other 6 guests who already had drinks and food and 2 constant staff as well as 1 extra who joined minutes later, I couldn’t understand the wait. Staff seemed to be busy talking to each other. Even now as my partner joined .. no greeting, no ask for anything. Can‘t even see any staff. Upon payment I expected a „thank you“ or a „goodbye“ .. just some sort of guest friendly communication. Just got weird looks. Further I don’t even want to mention the quality of my cocktail. Over all, Service is very disappointing for a House carrying the name „Lindner“ or „Hyatt“. :-(

Great location that is a 7-minute walk from the platforms of Antwerp Centraal train Station. Next door is Le Pain Bakery. The stay was average. The beds are comfy, and the room is spacious. I did not get to enjoy their restaurant or bar. They do have a water station and some snacks, which I did help myself every day as I walked out. I didn't fully have a great first impression at check-in. The hand sanitizer dispenser at the entrance smelled so strongly that I had to wash it off as soon as I got into my room. To my horror, the hand soap in the room had the same scent! It was hard to wash off the scent from my hands. I was so mad. The first lady was actually very friendly and welcoming. However, the second lady judged/questioned me for my housekeeping request and even denied me the free bottled water! That didn't make me happy, but she did help me with another item. Another weird thing was even though housekeeping came through, our soap dispenser was empty. I truly appreciate the concierge guy trying to help me at 02:00. The fitness center is on the 11th floor and requires a key to access. I wish they stocked sanitizing wipes or sprays for hygiene purposes. There is also a relaxation room that provides a nice view of the city. I would stay here again if I were back in Antwerp, but I am curious about the other hotels like Hilton or NH that are closer to the platforms. The train station doors are closed on this end after a certain time each day, so it's a long walk.

The services is not very great, the hotel closed the gates in the night , the breakfast is not worth it at all. There is no variety however is fine. The gym is not that great. The hospitality also was not that great.

Central location. Friendly staff. Nicely designed lobby. Comfortable beds in nice modern rooms. We had a great view from the 10th floor. Highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here because the rate was reasonable and the arrangements were made by a colleague that is local. The rooms are modern, quiet, and have some views on the upper floors. There is a small bar in the lobby. There is also a nice cafe just outside where you can get a good coffee and croissant at a decent price, so I did not eat the expensive hotel breakfast. The location is just next to the train station, making it convenient to catch the train to Schipol airport or other major cities in Europe. The only downside is that it was a 15-20 minute walk to nightlife area and another 20-25 minutes to the town center (and I walk fast). There were no bars or restaurants that I could find within a 15 minute walk. Also, the wifi was very slow, I was not able to use it. It is a safe bet for a short stay, but next time I am in Antwerp I might explore getting closer to the old town.

Nice room, I really liked the fridge with free water bottles. Comfortable beds and great views over Antwerp. Breakfast was good. Good value for money, overall. Too bad there was no separate shower. Hotel location was okay. Service in the Sky Bar was very slow.

This hotel is located right next to the Central station and just a few steps away from many restaurants (especially small Chinatown). The hotel is modern, cozy and charming. The front desk and other hotel staff (restaurants) are very friendly. Pros - Nepresso machine in the room. Good coffee!! - Good size room with big window (one entire wall) and big bathroom (mine was shower only but it was great) - Free bottles of water, coke and fanta in the fridge - Pain Quotidien is right outside - Great gym/sauna on the top floor - Reasonably priced - You can get a balcony room if you want to smoke without going outside of the building. Cons: - 3pm check-in (soooo late!!!) - No free wifi, even in the lobby (but free wifi outside from central station, so just walk out of the hotel and you can get free wifi) - Only European power-plug... (bring the European adapter if you are traveling from US) - Two twin beds are sitting together to become king sized bed. It's OK but the mattresses can move apart from each other... Overall I had a good stay at Lindner hotel.

The hotel as such is ok, although some of the rooms are already outdated. Staff is not always very kind. Any of the room information is not available in the local language, Dutch, which is very weird.

The Lindner Hotel is high level and modern. I especially like the service people. They are interested and caring. Just as you would expect from such a hotel. The hotel is directly next to the main station and to the diamond market. Good location! Do not book breakfast with them. There is a high-class bio-breakfast place exactly in front of the building. The much better alternative ... :-)
