Stunning distillery with amazing views and remarkable history. Our tour guide Ronnie was absolutely amazing! He was loaded with knowledge and had some good laughs too. This one is a must-see! Highly recommend 🥃

Google
Lindores Abbey Distillery felt special, and there's really no other way to describe it. We were greeted by Stephanie, who looked after everything we needed, and Skye, the distillery doggo! Our guide, Matt, was outstanding! His knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling made the tour informative and genuinely captivating. The grounds are impressive as this is a quaint independent distillery, where you can tell they have a huge sense of pride in the history of the site and the product they produce. The whole experience never felt rushed or scripted. From the ruins, to the farmland that provides the barley... it was impressive to be able to take it all in. Of course, the tasting was the perfect finale, offering a curated selection that showcased the range and depth of Lindores’ work. Every dram had a story, and Matt - Lindores' Cask Custodian - made sure we understood (and appreciated) each one as he hand-picked the expressions of the day. The distillery cask editions were indeed special. As limited releases. They are an absolute treat to be able to experience, and also now something to brag about, as they are no longer available for purchase.

This was an absolute highlight of our trip to Scotland. Angela gave us the history tour and it was above and beyond the best, most well curated, interesting and captivating history tour I’ve ever encountered. This place is magical and important. Book the history tour. And also the whisky is fantastic. Highly recommend the Aqua Vitae.

This is one of the most interesting distillery tours I've been on. The historic link with the monks at the abbey make it quite unique. You'll need to go on the tour yourself to find out why. The whisky is very nice also.

Lovely clean distillery in a peaceful setting opposite the old abbey ruins. I didn't do a tour, just dropped in for a few drinks with family and our dog. Great choice of whisky flights and whisky cocktails. The staff are so friendly and welcoming even providing water and treats for our dog. They also gave great advice and help when buying whisky from the well stocked shop.

Booked a tour for myself and my friend on arrival we were told we were the only ones booked for the tour at that time so received an exclusive tour . Guide was very informative and friendly and we received a lot of information about their whiskey . I have been on distillery tours before but this one was 5star even though they were not distilling at that moment (clean down of all the equipment) received some nice tasting samples and a few more in the shop before buying a couple of bottles.

Google
Absolute fantastic experience at the Lindores Abbey Distillery. It is a young distillery, which makes is less known and therefore probably less crowded. They accept dogs on the guided tours of the distillery, which was very convenient for us. I highly recommend a visit of this distillery.

Google
A true Scottish gem. Not only is the place of immense historic value to any whisky fanatic, but it also has an admirable story of owners committed to crafting a high-quality spirit, sparing no expense to preserve as much of its heritage as possible. The whisky itself is incredible—especially considering how young it is. I highly recommend the single-cask editions available for tasting at the distillery. The high ABV and variety of cask maturations you can choose from make it a truly memorable experience (and Claire is wonderfully patient while you spend far too long trying to narrow your order down from half the menu). And don’t miss the tour with Ronnie. A few minutes with him will explain a lot about why this whisky is so exceptional despite its relatively young age.

Yelp
Linda gave a highly educational tour on the history of the abbey and the distillery as well as their distillation process. So much fun. And of course the tasting afterward. Even more fun. Then I spent a bunch of money in the "gift"shop
