Lindos Comfy Suites, Lindos, Rhodes - Explore & Book

"The setting is ancient, but Lindos Comfy Suites is all about 21st-century comfort. In a series of white-cube spaces which tumble down a rocky hillside, its 21 rooms and suites are airy, clean and yes, very comfortable. Décor is sparse, but not spartan – cliff-cut steps zig-zag from one terrace to another, some furnished with wicker sofas, parasols, potted figs and the occasional flowering hibiscus. Best of all there's a rooftop bar terrace with a knock-out view of the Acropolis, a spectacular panhellenic citadel mounted on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Med. Days start and end on that rooftop – breakfast is taken here, and at dusk, smart sundowners are served up by smiley bar staff. Later, take the steps which wind down to lively Lindos village, where narrow, car-free streets are lined with shops and restaurants. We can picture the carefree holiday pattern that families and couples will fall into at this retreat: a morning clamber up the Acropolis rock (go early to avoid the crowds); an afternoon swim in the turquoise waters of St Paul's Bay; and an evening stroll around the village before returning to chilled tranquility and the most comfortable of sleeps. Highs The Skybar roof terrace, where you'll have a complimentary welcome cocktail coupled with that spectacular view Good value - other Lindos hotels are a fair bit pricier, especially in high seasonSuper-comfy beds with soft pillows and Coco-Mat mattresses Delicious Mediterranean breakfasts and light meals on requestGlorious beaches nearby; you're 10 mins' walk from St Paul's Bay and the sandy Lindos Harbour beaches Lows No pool but guests can swim at Lindos View Hotel's pool across the roadBe aware there are lots of stairs and the rocky walk down to town/beach is steep No formal restaurant: only breakfast and light meals are served at the Skybar, but there are plenty of friendly tavernas a stroll awayBreakfast is not included, and we think the extra cost is a little steep" - Lesley Gillilan

This place is a dream! Very easy access by car from the main road, and once you park you will do everything by foot. We took the breakfast option, it was delicious and fresh. The staff was so hospitable and loving and made us feel like family and VIPs (thank you to Tamna and Eleni, and the sweet man who cooked us omlettes). The view from the hotel, breakfast/bar area is breathtaking. Everything we needed was in the room and we enjoyed ourselves so much!

My family had a great stay here. We stayed in a Superior Double with Balcony and Castle View (room 17). I would highly recommend if you are staying in Lindos.||Pros||Awesome view at all times of the day. See picture from the lounge area at the top. ||Staff are awesome and 10/10. Very kind and personable. Can’t say enough good things about them. Truly impressed.||Breakfast. This was much better than anticipated. Well worth the nominal extra fee. Great selection of pastries, fruit, juices and they can also make specialty coffee drinks and eggs made to order.||Rooms are well designed and have all the necessities. Air conditioning was strong enough for our small room and we didn’t have any connecting walls to other rooms — just another room below us & nothing above. ||Location. Being near the main road is awesome for arrival and departure. No need to navigate long distances with luggage. I feel bad for the folks who have to carry their luggage deep into Lindos.||Value- This is a great hotel at a great price. They do not cut corners here. ||Cons (stretching here)||Mini bar- Prices were high. €3 for a beer. Nespresso pods not free. The 2 free waters per day are nice though. ||Arrival details- We didn’t use the hotel suggested ride service from the airport (probably should have) so we got dropped off far away and got a little lost. Not fun with heavy bags up and down cobblestones and stairs. Some better directions from the hotel would have saved us loads of time. (See tip below)||Our balcony was far too small. Not comfortable for even 1 person. We did like it to dry off beach towels and bathing suits though!||Tips||Car rental- Rodos Car rental has an office onsite and the cars are parked right past the breakfast area. Super convenient. Driving here was very easy. Highly recommend. ||Drop off/departure- Ask to get dropped off/picked up just behind the hotel in a gravel parking lot/pull off area right across from the Lindos View Hotel. There is a pathway and stairs to the hotel. This area is also marked with signs. See picture. ||There is a grocery area at the bottom right when you get to “Main Street” of Lindos. We used it to stock up on cheaper beer for the mini fridge, snacks, water, etc. ||No need to book a balcony. We used the common lounging area right by the sky bar/breakfast area. Comfortable seating and shaded. We seemed to be the only people using it in the afternoon and evenings. ||Beaches- Lindos Beach is the way to go. Plenty big, nice sand and cheapest chairs/sun-beds. Saint Paul beach is picturesque but it’s rocky, small and too expensive - hard pass. ||Steps- You’ll be getting your steps in when staying in Lindos. Wear appropriate shoes and take it slow when going up and down steps. This town is not for folks with mobility issues. ||Acropolis- The hike up is not difficult. Great views when you get there. Highly recommend. ||Rhodes Town- Be sure you venture to Rhodes Town while you are here. We rented a car and drove there. Cool town with a different vibe/scenery but plenty of history. ||I hope this review helps you and yours. Safe travels. Cheers!

We had a lovely stay at comfy suites, would recommend this hotel to anyone.||The hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Lindos (steep walk so be wary if travelling in the warmer months).||Room was great, all amenities we needed. We used the sky bar every night and it was definitely the best view in Lindos, very kind staff!

Fantastic place, rooms are modern, cool & clean and staff are efficient and friendly (special hello to David). No complaints whatsoever. Ok it’s a bit of a steep hill down to the village so some might struggle. We will definitely return. Thanks

My girlfriend took me here as a surprise for my birthday. The suites were nice and clean with a contemporary finish, while keeping the characteristic of the famous white buildings which Greece is known for. Each suite is unique, which adds a more personal feel to your stay. The rooftop terrace overlooks the city and offers you great views and scenery. The location is a 5 minute walk from restaurants and bars and 10-15 from the beach. Acropolis is roughly a 10 minute walk away and is a must if you visit Lindos. Demetrius was very helpful and gave us complimentary drinks as it was my Birthday. He was on hand to assist with anything we needed and gave us recommendations of where to dine and the best places to experience authentic Greek cuisine. Overall it was an amazing vacation and the best birthday present. I would recommend 5/5. And look forward to returning.

Second year we have come back to Comfy Suites and just as amazing second time around we actually chose it for our honeymoon. Elana and Dimitris are very friendly and welcoming as are all the staff. I would recommend the duplex suite room no 4 our favourite!! The view of the sea and Acropolis is amazing. Breakfast is great value with enough choice. There are quite a lot of steps but nothing two 54 year old couldn't manage easily. It's 5 mins walk (down steps) into the main village where you can find many fantastic restaurants and bars amongst the historic alleyways.St pauls Bay is a 10/15 min walk and the Acropolis 15/20 min walk which is a steep climb but well worth it. The sky bar has a fantastic view.Would highly recommend and we will be back!!!|Kenny&Bev

We stayed in room 20. It's a fabulous suite. The bathroom has a shower that is massive with two shower heads. There is a kettle in the room and a small fridge/mini bar. Free bottled water that is replaced. |Lovely space for suitcase and hanging your clothes. I borrowed an iron for my linen. |The bedroom is up stairs, with a dressing table, TV and two balconies. One balcony has loungers and table and chairs as well as a sun parasol. I loved this, and this balcony faces the acropolis. Stunning view. |We ate breakfast in the sky bar twice while we were there. (They do great scrambled eggs with bacon). The sky bar is the best view in lindos. You can see the whole of lindos and acropolis and St Paul's Bay and the main beach. There are also wild goats on some of the hills. This is truly paradise. |The staff are wonderful and so helpful. You feel valued. |The only criticism is I could not reach the safe. Also there are a lot of stairs/steps so not accessible for people with mobility issues. |Getting into town is a five minute walk down some steps. You can also use the pools in the hotel across the road (Lindos View) and just pay €10 for the lounger. |Rhodes is wonderful and we loved it.
