Lindos Mare, Seaside Hotel

Here I am back with my third review (after my third stay) at the wonderful Lindos Mare! |As always, I was impressed by the warmth of the staff and I still don't understand how this hotel keeps getting better and better and offers such an outstanding service to all its guest. |If anyone comes across these reviews and wonders - why are all the reviews so good? The answer is simple: once you visit, a piece of you stays here and you'll want to revisit as often as possible. I wish anyone would get the chance to experience this hotel, but at the same time I want it to keep its impression of a hidden gem - it's quiet, elegant and feels just like a family awaiting your return each year. |Kudos to the staff, who makes you feel like a celebrity when you're just stepping into the reception or the restaurant for the first time and everyone already recognizes you - Nikos, Savvas (reception + Estia) and many others who I didn't get the chance to spot the names, but everyone was outstanding. It's obvious that the hotel takes hospitality very seriously. |The sea and the pools were perfect, just like last year, and we enjoyed our swim up room once again.|The food was just as fine and delicious, through they've changed the layout of the restaurant this year. I'm gonna be honest and say that I miss the old one, but no worries - the experience is still as special as before. |The gym is well equipped, the snacks awaiting you in room after check in are a very pleasant surprise, the hotel is well kept and the minimarket is a great place to stop by for souvenirs and something sweet. |I really hope I convinced some people throughout the years with this hotel - as an experienced traveler I can confidently say it's one of the absolute best hotels in the whole world. Next year I even convinced 2 more people to join us and we are all eager to make July 2026 better by staying at Lindos Mare!|Last but not least, this year we had the incredible opportunity to spend 4 nights at the sister hotel - Lindos Blu - thanks to Efi! The experience there was breathtaking so it's also a great choice for a wonderful holiday - but my heart stays here at Lindos Mare. See you soon!

We can not fault this hotel!!! From the moment we arrived as a family they gave you 5 star service.|We visited in Aug 2025 with our 4 year old son, the staff were so attentive. The food was amazing and so much choice, breakfast was the buffet food but so yummy, lunch is from the pool restaurant and dinner in the main restaurant was a choice of buffet or from the menu that evening, there are 2 other restaurants which you should book and again amazing food. |The cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at, from the pool side to the toilets. Rooms were always turned down and cleaned, mopped every day. There are a number of levels to the hotel, but lifts to get to each floor. A very good little shop in the grounds if you want to have snacks or drinks they don't have a problem with this around the pool, really helpful when you have children.|Gorgeous views over the ocean from pretty much every point of the hotel. The pool is very peaceful, no loud music or entertainment which was great for us.|Very good evening entertainment with all the signers and musicians, sports on in the daytime for anyone who wants to watch in the bar area, the gym is also very good, clean and tidy.|The beach is at the bottom of the hotel, private beach with sunbeds/umbrellas all included, very peaceful and sandy.||Lindos isn't far by taxi, we explored the town which is stunning and so many boutique shops and plenty of places to eat with views of the castle/ruins.||Overall this has to be one of the top hotels we have ever stayed at, I don't normally write reviews but I felt by our experience it was worth taking the time. I wouldn't have any doubts in coming back. I can see why so many come back over and over again.||Thank you to all the staff who made our stay exceptional, you are a credit to the hotel.

Cannot fault this hotel! We’ve just booked our 6th visit here and everyone we recommend this hotel to, they end up booking year on year too! ||Rooms - beautiful - most have recently been refurbished and they look stunning! ||Views - can’t beat them! Beautiful views over the sea - absolutely breath taking! ||Food - best buffet we’ve ever had at a hotel, we’re not ones for staying in for dinner at a hotel and we love lindos and going out to different restaurants but the food and the views are just as good! Two amazing La carte restaurants to use while you are there (pelagos for dinner is our fave!). Bonus - if you don’t show up at dinner you can get a voucher to use for a La carte lunch. ||Pools and facilities - pool and sunloungers also upgraded in the last few years and is fab! Spa could do with an upgrade but massages are great. Gym has also been upgraded recently with all brand new equipment and it’s great!||People - the best service - were lucky to feel we know a lot of the staff now following many visits - all are so warm and welcoming and the service is outstanding. Shout out to Anna, Greg, Nikos and Savas! ||Location - perfect - right on the beech with your own section with waiter service. 5 min taxi to lindos centre with lots of roof top restaurants, bars, shops, lovely cobbled Greek streets, the acropolis and St Paul’s bay!||Overall outstanding value for money - this is a true gem with many visitors going back to the hotel time and time again. Honestly need to stop recommending it as we don’t want it to become too popular!!

We are regular visitors to Lindos having visited fifteen times over the last thirty years. More recently, our last four visits, we have stayed at Hotel Lindos Mare. This hotel is excellent and every year there are ongoing improvements to all aspects of the hotel operations. The food choice is exceptional with the added bonus that each week you can eat once in each of the Pelagos A La Carte restaurant and the Meltimi Greek Taverna, assuming that you have booked half board. The best aspect of the hotel though are the staff, with each and everyone looking to assist the guests to ensure that they have an enjoyable experience. We enjoyed excellent service from Nikos, in the Estia Restaurant, George & Stella, in the Vergina Bar, Juergen, in Meltimi Restaurant and Blix the Concierge. Can’t wait to return!

We have stayed at the Lindos Mare since 2009. Like many many other guests we keep returning because it is a truly outstanding hotel. The fact it is always full bears teastament to this. It is kept absolutely spotless. The food is wonderful - 3 restaurants to chose from. The Estia - main restaurant - caters for every taste and has such a huge range of food you’re spoilt for choice. Every dietary need is catered for and you only have to tell the staff and it’s noted. The Pelagos is a la carte and you can swap there once a week and the Meltemi also for authentic Greek food. The Meltemi is also a fabulous place to have lunch if needed as it’s near the beach. We love the beach and although down a steep road, the hotel run a golf buggy service up and down to both the Mare and its sister hotel the Blu. The sunbeds are well spaced out and comfy. The sea is beautifully warm and most of the time very calm and ideal for everyone. Rooms are spacious, plenty of toiletries provided and exceptionally clean. The rooms come with a Nespresso machine plus capsules. You only have to ask and a kettle will be provided immediately. Bottled water is replaced daily.||The one thing that does stand out here are the staff. Many of whom we have known since we first visited. Nothing is too much trouble no matter how minor it is. When you meet anyone it is always a smile and a greeting from management down to maintenance staff. The team is now led by the ever efficient and truly wonderful Efi. She is very visible and will do her utmost to help with any query or problem. She then follows it up to ensure your stay is perfect. Andriana on reception is also very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the wonderful Elias on reception who will help no matter what. Special thanks to Savvas, Gregoris, Nikos, Valerie, Diana and everyone else in the Estia. Perfect service always. The lovely Daniela and Jurgen at the Meltemi - friendly wonderful service as always and always a perfect Tuna Tartare! Helpful Marius on the beach and the lovely Clyde who really is just so helpful and caring with his pick ups and drop offs for the beach. Its an absolute amazing place to stay, felt the stress evaporate off me from the scenic views and great food. There's a lot of choice and variety when it came to the food so you can really gorge on a variety of everything. By far the best aspect was the staff though, they were all so nice and accommodating. The guest and relations manager Hlias for example seems to be simultaneously everywhere in the hotel to help with anything and it was routine for my family and many others to have great conversation together with the staff. We hadn't even left and are planning on coming back next year

We had the pleasure of staying at Lindos Mare for 10 nights, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone we encountered was so genuinely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile—nothing ever felt like too much trouble.|The food was outstanding, with a wide range of delicious, high-quality options available each day. A special mention goes to how wonderfully the staff handled my girlfriend’s gluten intolerance. As soon as they were made aware, they went out of their way to make sure she had safe and tasty options at every meal—and most importantly, they did so without making it feel like an inconvenience at all. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail really made a big difference.|Thank you to the entire team at Lindos Mare for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Wow! What a find this hotel is. It is clear as to why people come back year after year. The staff, views, decor, beach, sea and the amazing choice of food is unbeatable. |Room- Our junior suite room was spacious and had a great view, with great features such as a coffee machine and waterfall shower. The children’s sofa beds were thick and even more comfortable than the super king master bed. |Staff- Special mention to Andriana, who answered all my questions about the hotel and arranged the private transfer beforehand, Elias and George for their excellent cocktails and great conversation, Brix for a warm friendly welcome when we arrived at midnight, and all the staff in Estia.|Food- A great choice of delicious savoury dishes and desserts. We particularly loved sushi night! You can choose a la carte dish in the buffet restaurant too. Also, swap your buffet meals for 2 a la carte restaurant bookings if you like. |Decor - The hotel looks and feels like a 5 star hotel and spotlessly clean. |Beach and sea - Plenty of padded sun loungers, drinks/snacks delivered to your sun loungers through a QR code and beautiful clear water to swim in. We frequently snorkelled to find shoals of hundreds of fish and even saw a sting ray!|Pools - We only visited the larger one which was cold in October but well worth dipping in to cool off. Plenty of extra comfy sun loungers in October. Most people tend to prefer the beach. |Location - Situated close to Lindos by bus €2 each or €10 by taxi which takes you a bit near to town than the bus. 50 mins from Rhodes airport by taxi €80. 70 mins to Rodos/ old town €5.50 per adult by bus. |The hotel is set on the side of a hill so there are many steps to climb, which we enjoyed to work off all the food! You can use the many lifts though. |I don’t normally visit the same hotel twice but with this one I might have to make an exception. Thank you Lindos Mare.
