Lindsey Hôtel

Very small hotel rooms and tiny bathroom which was disappointing. Small outdoor deck but no where to hang wet towels and swimming costumes. Ok for x 1 person but would be very cosy for two with little privacy re bathroom. Nice grounds and pool area. Five minute walk to bus stop/ supermarket/ shops / restaurants. No fridge in the room either.

Value for money. Had a good stay. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very quite thought in City Centre.

Lindsey hotel was|Great. The room was very clean and modern and we had a great balcony to enjoy our evening wine. Location was also perfect for us. Very quiet, yet walking distance to all the restaurants. ||Staff was superb. We realized we left some things in our St Denis Hotel. They offered to go get them for us. We did it ourselves, but how awesome!||I’d love to come back

We spent 4 nights recently in this well appointed hotel. The room for 3 adults was spacious, and comfortable with access to a small shady and well ventilated patio. ||The continental breakfasts were more than adequate. ||I enjoyed the small swimming pool which is suitably sheltered. The pool area and amenities were clean and well maintained.||The hotel is at the back of another large property, and so is sheltered from all traffic noises.||Mr Balaya, the owner and his charming daughter Caroline are both very friendly and jovial, and were a pleasure to meet.||George E

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little hotel. The staff were always present and incredibly hospitable. Our room was clean cosy with a small balcony to enjoy the open air. Breakfast was a delicious, freshly prepared continental spread. The hotel is working easy walking distance to the beach and many shops.

Lindsey hotel was in a busy area of ST Pierre but well sign posted with parking and a small pool. It was quiet at night. The room was simple but catered for our needs and was clean. The staff were very helpful with advice although no English is spoken anywhere. The breakfast was very good both days. We walked to the market, beach and local restaurants.

The hotel is perfectly located for visits with a rental car. The volcano, Cilaos, some beaches on the westcoast and the beautiful Southcoast are near.|The hotel has mostly smaller rooms, beside two of them. We enjoyed the spacious room number 7 including an own mini-fridge. The kitchen, a big fridge , plates, spoons etc. downstairs can be fully used for your own breakfast or dinner.|The staff is friendly and most of all the manager, Jean Yves will give you a very warm welcome. He will make you feel at home, even if he speaks no English.|One of the cleaning ladies speaks English, all others are only speaking French.||Nevertheless, the hotel is absolutely recommanded.|

I was "forced" to stay in this hotel for 3 more nights as my flight back home was cancelled, so I can honestly now say I'm quite familiar with the place and the people who work there! Hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from the shore where all the nightly activities take place. Rooms are very clean and quiet and the A/C is a blessing. Breakfast is diverse, fresh and plentiful. And the small swimming pool is a refreshing option after a day of exploring the area. The owner has been very helpful finding a tiny spot for me on a fully booked Saturday night. I'd definitely come back there again.
