L’industrie Pizzeria West Village

Favorite pizza of our NYC weekend! A bit of a line to get in, but they were very efficient and super friendly. Unfortunately someone else grabbed our order and took our order, but they were quick to get us replacements. We got the burrata and the fig jam and bacon slices. So amazing! The place was packed but we found room to eat, it is standing tables only. I love pizza and this was one of, if not the best I've ever had. I will be back.

I’m going to keep it real I in this review. Yes, this is a popular and busy spot, yes there will most likely be a line. But if you have time to wait, the line goes by pretty fast and the food is very much worth it. Yesterday my partner and I started off in the back of the line — we were all the way nearly at the end of the street — but I’d say we got into the restaurant in about 10-15 minutes. The staff were funny and charismatic, and definitely knew what they were doing. You can watch their whole system for making pizza as there is viewing access into their kitchen, which was pretty cool. My partner and I each got a pesto sausage slice, as well as one burrata and one volcano (burrata and pastrami). This pizza was hands down some of the most authentic NY/Italian tasting pizza I’ve had. Very good flavor, fresh ingredients and all around fun atmosphere. We went in during prime time it seemed (we went around 2-2:30pm), but we were still able to get a table to eat at. Highly recommend, despite the wait!

The rare intersection between over-hyped and still absolutely worth it. Can't recommend the burrata slice enough - the spoonfulls on top along with some really punchy basil provide a really unique flavor, texture, & temperature contrast to a super thin & crispy crust with just the right weight of sauce & cheese. The crust here really is fantastic, with the classic NYC structural integrity and the sort of yeasty flavor you can only get out of really long cold fermenting. Worth the wait - the line can stretch all the way down the block at times, but it moves fast enough. Crowded and cramped seems to be the norm inside, but that's only really a problem when the weather gets in the way of chowing down on a slice while sitting on the curb.

L’industrie Pizzeria is hands-down the best pizza I’ve had! The line took about 45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, well worth it. We got the margherita and pepperoni pizza. The undercarriage was perfect - crispy but not overdone. Cheese to sauce ratio was balanced. The spicy chili oil they have on the tables was HOT! A little adds a nice kick. We didn’t have a problem finding a place to stand at a table and eat. The bathroom was clean too, not a long line. Overall, I understand why this is in the running for best NYC pizza. I’ll be dreaming about it!

It’s worth the hype & wait! Arrived half hour before opening and the line was already 20-30 deep. By opening it had more than doubled. Talking to people in line they assured me it was worth the wait. At opening, menus were handed out in line. I opted for the Burrata and Tartufo. The Burrata is a red sauce Margherita with burrata added. I ate this first. Wow, thin, crispy and amazing flavours. The Tartufo is white base, with four cheese, mushroom and truffle oil. 👌🏻Again amazing. Great balance of flavours. Limited spaces to stand and eat, however people do flow through quickly. This place lives up to the hype! A must visit.

We were told there would be a wait and that it was worth it. We stood in line about 45 mins and I would have to say it was worth it. Very good pizzas. We tried 4 different slices and liked them all. Pro Tip: take your slices to go and go next door to the brewery where you can enjoy your slices if you order a drink.

Great great pizza. Went on a random weekday at an awkward hour. Around 3 pm. Still had to wait in line for around 30 minutes. Definitely worth the wait. Their burrata slice was delicious. The hot honey they served elevated it to a whole new level. Isn't the most comfortable eating condition, but it's still vibey and lovely.

If the line wasn't so long I'd definitely come again. I came on a rainy day and it was still packed although not as packed as I'm seeing from others. They had the menu passed throughout the line to move things along quicker so I only had to wait about 15-20 minutes to get to the front of the line and the order came our fairly fast after that. L'industrie Pizza is my definition of a perfect pizza. From the shape to the texture to the taste; everything is solid. It definitely looks better than it taste but I don't think many pizzerias can perfect all criteria across the board. The sauce is pretty good on the sour side, the cheese is thin and not overwhelming cheesy, the crust is crispy but not hard given how thin it is. You definitely should try this but for me its gonna be a one time thing unless the line is shorter. — 12/23/25
