I purchased four loaves of bread from the fresh bakery, two different cheese slice packs, and a large chunk of cheese.
Three out of the four loaves had literally mold spiraled through the middle, and a cheese slice pack had mold riddled through the bottom four slices. What the hell is going on in this store?
For the insane price of what I bought I didn't think I'd have to check the bread, and cheese. Later went to Superstore and repurchased what I needed. Superstore was slightly more expensive, but edible.
How do three different loaves of bread have mold in them when there are still days left on the best before? Are there wild temperature shifts in the grocery store? That's the only explanation I can come up with.
Also, what's with all of the sketchy five star reviews from new reviewers?
*Update* I opened the milk from Lings to make formula for my 16 month old son, who drank a bit, then started crying. Yeah. The milk was off. Thanks guys. Stoked to never shop here again. Eight days from expiry and it's sour as hell.
