Ling & Sons Food Market

Probably the best grocery store on the island. Prices are affordable and they have the cheapest rum and wine. $14 bottles of Tropical Rum and $9 bottles of wine. Juices were the cheapest here, but you have to find them. They have 3 spots for them, some are expensive and some are very cheap! Snacks and lunch meats are very affordable too!

Incredible helpful staff that go above and beyond. We left the market late and at that time there were no more taxis outside. The staff tried to order us a ride but all drivers were busy. Then the supermarket team quickly organised car pools and took all the customers to their hotels. I thought that was a great gesture and help that we will always remember about our first day in Aruba.

One of the largest Supermarkets on the island, Ling & Son's is premier in product, location and service. Located at the beginning of the low rise hotel and the end of the Watty Vos Boulevard. The supermarket has a wide variety of products. What sets it apart is that there is a deli, fresh juice counter and a walk through food stand. Besides that it is compartmentalised so navigating through the supermarket can be done with ease. The isles are spacios and long. The pricea are on the higher end compared to other supermarket. I willbsay though, you can find producta and brands that are not available elsewhere. Clean and organised. The staff seem busy but polite. Multiple check out lanes and there is also a fast check out lane.

Well stocked store with nice options. However , one of the Asian supervisors at the billing counter was racist and said bags only for American passport holders , what about Canadian or others. In the end, she realized her blunder and said only for tourists.

Repeat customers! We love Ling and Sons. We prefer them over Super Foods for a few reasons- Super Foods carts require a quarter. Not a big deal except as vacationers we literally had no change and were unable to get a full size cart to shop (not ideal with a baby and toddler in tow). Ling & Sons does not require any change to use their carts. We also experienced less crowds/wider aisles at L&S. And we were pleased to at the large selection of baby foods, alcohol, produce- everything! We look forward to shopping with them every time we are on One Happy Island!

A Heartfelt Compliment for Cashier Mrs. Luzviminda at Ling & Sons Recently, I went through checkout with a cart full of groceries, including fresh produce and frozen items. Unfortunately, due to a major online banking outage that day, I couldn’t pay with either my debit or credit card. Even my husband, trying from his office, couldn’t get it to work. I was stuck at checkout for nearly half an hour, unsure how to resolve the issue. Thankfully, Mrs. Luz was incredibly kind and patient. With warmth and understanding, she found a solution while managing to serve other customers as well. She truly is a star! Thank you, Mrs. Luzviminda, for your patience, support, and trust. Clean, modern supermarket with a wide variety of goods at fair prices. May be a little more expensive but the variety makes up for that.

Sorry, but since the Ling family sold the business, it has steadily lost its "family business" charm. Although the assortment us not as good as Superfood, it is still very acceptable.
