Google
Been ordering pickup/delivery here for years. Usually at least once a month. Food is solid nothing that blows me away but it's reasonably priced, tasty, and good portions. Service is excellent. They've never gotten an order wrong or failed to include an item in the order.

Google
Poor customer service. Ordered dinner for delivery @7:20pm never received my order. Delivery was at wrong house and they would not remake my order worth $45 and re-deliver. Will not be doing business with them again as they decided not to answer the phone anymore after I was being patient and kind. Do not use the delivery service recommended. Highly upset @9:12pm and hungry with a child!!!

Lily

Google
The food was good and didn’t have a bad price at all, it was just a bit bland

Since moving to Louisville I’ve tried nearly 10 Chinese takeout restaurants trying to find THE sesame seed chicken.. and this is it, this is the one. SO GOOD!

Kathy

Google
My order is always correct, they make it fast and the service is wonderful.

Google
I ordered shrimp with garlic sauce today (10/05/24) and 3 egg rolls, and it was delicious! The preparation time was fast, and the service was great. The young lady at the counter who assisted me was kind enough to give me my drink when I didn’t have the cash…only card. People don’t have to be kind to you and give you things when they operate a business, but it is highly appreciated. She told me that I didn’t have to pay with my card, because the drink was only one dollar; but I insisted, and she suggested that I come back another day with $1 to pay. I’m deciding to leave this review instead. I appreciated her kind gesture.

Google
Poor customer service. Delivery service is not responsible and will not be ordering from them ever again!

Yelp
well priced dumplings and shrimp fried rice!!! Great service, I even got a free sprite with my meal. New go to.

Yelp
Quick update to recognize this as our preferred restaurant for Chinese takeout since being in the neighborhood 10+ years. We easily place orders by phone and pick up quickly. Our order is typically accurate and service is friendly. You can never go wrong with their soups, sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. I also enjoy their crab rangoon. The staff has accommodated my requests for additional sauces and/or spice level. The restaurant is located in a shopping center. While the parking lot is busy, there's always a spot to park and grab the order.

Yelp
My wife got takeout from this place. Not great. First off, they didn't give us utensils. Second, the food was unremarkable. Decent portions, but the Szechuan beef didn't look like any I'd ever had before; plus, weird texture. The General Tso's chicken was better, but I still wouldn't call it good. Overall, Ling Ling misses the mark.

Yelp
I have been going to ling ling for a decade and it was my favorite Chinese food to eat and recommend to everybody that asks about my "go to" Chinese restaurant... After the new year the menu stayed the same except prices went up "not a big deal" but eating in the restaurant the portion sizes were cut in half and to go cut protein in the meal. Not as good as it once was...

Yelp
In town for the PGA championship. Ordered take out. Possibly the worst Chinese food we have had in all of our travels across the country. We understand not all places can be great, but if your basic hot n sour soup and egg drop soup are watered down, then it simply means you do not care about making good food. Please don't order the boba. The taro was watered down, not sure what kind of tapioca they use, but it was crunchy like jelly pieces. I am not sure how they have 4 stars from other reviews.

Yelp
I love Ling Lings. The food is great and the ability to order and pick up has been great until today. I did not receive the full order. I called to let them know and was told it was "in the bag". I explained it was not and was told I could come back and pick up what I needed. No apology. Another 40 minute round trip and I got what was needed. They still insisted it was "in the bag". I told them I felt like they were accusing me of being untruthful. Not once did I hear an apology and they still acted as if it was my fault. They need customer service training. As I walked away, they said "no problem." I told them it was. I do not think they cared. The food deserves a 5 star rating. The service 1.

Yelp
Whatever they call the full size meal for like..$16 is well worth the price!! You get a lil bit of everything!! It's all very good usually. Sometimes the crab Rangoon and fried wontons are over cooked and kind of burnt. Thank God for the red sauce to dip them in! I will be back again and again for this!!

Christian B.

Yelp
Take out Chinese food at its finest. Quick and easy to order. Always the go to. Never disappoints.

Douglas Bailey ..

Yelp
You get large portions and food is always cooked very well and very tasty. Good bang for the buck !

Yelp
Terrible customer service and food not much better. First and LAST time here. Only tried this place due to China Cafe being closed on Monday. My order was wrong (fried rice had no veggies) and o ly apologized. Didn't offer to replace. Finally after, I said I didn't get what I ordered or paid for..Mgr said I could get a Free eggroll next time I ordered. I shouldn't have to buy another .eal to be compensated for incorrect order. Then he told me to bri g rice back in. I explain I was hurt and had neighbor pickup for me. Due to he's cheapness over .50 worth of rice just cost him ALOT more. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in Middletown ! Always has been always will be. Ben coming here over 20 years now.
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick place to grab some Chinese food, I would definitely recommend this place. I've never had a bad experience with the food and now that I've gone a few times the staff have opened up to me a bit. Would definitely recommend.

Casey W.

Yelp
Met my grandmother here for lunch and the service was fast, friendly and great price for what we ordered. Great portions. Will be back.

Yelp
Tried to post the menu but not sure how good it will turn out. They just opened back up from being closed during Covid. My extended family loves this place. They introduced me to Ling Ling sometime last year and we have been hooked since. My son loves their orange chicken. He does make me tell them that he doesn't want any vegetables or orange peels in it. FYI- it has orange peels which gives it an extra flavor but my son doesn't like it. He said it tastes too orangey. So if you don't want it too be too orangey flavor, you may want to tell them to hold the orange peels. He also gets it with no rice and that is no issue to do. I always get the sweet n sour chicken that is in my pic. It is my favorite and very basic. Can't mess this up but it is my staple favorite. The rice is very good. I've had rice before at other places where some of the rice is hard. This rice is perfect. There is also a lot of food so I have enough for two servings. I really like this place.

Mary W.

Yelp
Called in order over phone. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Arrived in 20 minutes and it was bagged ready to go. It was delicious. The restaurant is clean and lots of people were eating in. The lunch size servings seem to be a little smaller than previously when I ate there. But it was all hot, fresh, and tasty. I will go back.

Yelp
Always by far the best Chinese food in Louisville. This has been a staple in my life since I was a young child and will always remain a staple in my adult life. The chicken noodle soup is the best when you're not feeling well, the noodles taste homemade (they may be). I usually get the sweet & sour chicken and it always tastes delicious each and every time.

Yelp
Stumbled onto this place while traveling and stopping for the day in Louisville. My wife was tired of traveling and just wanted to stay at the hotel. After checking on local establishments we settled on Ling Ling. We were very happy we did. The food was excellent and was ready when promised. My wife had Moo Sho Pork and I had their take on Phoenix and Dragon (a lighter unfried version) both were great.

Jon M.

Yelp
Such a great place to eat. me and my daughter love going to this place. very good food. lots to choose from. priced very reasonable considering a lot of restaurants jacking their prices up these days. do me a favor and go out of your way to eat here or take out. you won't be disappointed. trust me.
google avatar

Trisha L.

Yelp
Mediocre food. The friends I was with loved the place. Their cashew chicken was super salty and way too much broth and gross chewy chicken. I couldn't finish it. My friend go lo mein and it was gross and inedible also. The dumplings were super dry inside and that was gross to me. The egg rolls were good as well as the crab rangoon. That's what the 2 stars are for. Can't really say more.
google avatar

Lesley S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch today while out running around. Short on time I remembered having this place delivered to school many many times. 3:40 missed lunch by 10 minutes. She tried the pepper steak and I got the sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice.
google avatar

Maleia W.

Yelp
This has been my favorite place to grab dinner from! I've been ordering from here for two years, going on three, and it never disappoints! Not only is the food always amazing , but the staff are so friendly and know how to take care of you. The compete family dinner combos are perfect to split with friends or family! There's always plenty to share and it comes with silverware

Richard H.

Yelp
Ling ling is a great Chinese restaurant you can get it to go and it will still be hot and a lot of food. When you get home, you won't be hungry when you're done or you can eat in their small little dining room that's quite quiet and very enjoyable.

Yelp
If your are looking for a local "mom and papa" type of neighborhood Chinese restaurant, this is your place! I tried for lunch with couple coworkers. The lunch special was so filling, it comes with fried rice and an egg roll. The restaurant is nestled in a shopping center in Middletown. Plenty of parking. Food is freshly prepared and comes out quickly. This is a place with no frills but Delicious food!!
google avatar

Bayly J.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special. The food was incredibly bland. Not so sure I'd order again but if I did I would try something different. The egg roll wasn't my favorite either as it was drenched in oil from the deep fry.
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
I have been eating the food at Ling King's for years. I am very fond of the cashew chicken & general Tao's chicken. They are consistently good and easy on the budget!
google avatar

Ron P.

Yelp
For Ling Ling to be Asian fast food, the food is amazing. Orders are completed pretty fast, and they are reasonably priced. Amazing flavor and the portions are generous.
google avatar

Yelp
A friend of mine, Jackie Wilham had posted on FB that this business needed some customers. Hard working family with great food. I wondered if they were on one of the delivery platforms and to my delight they were! I used #ubereats and placed an order. I am not always a fan of Asian food. I will be honest, it usually is too salty, or over sauced, the chicken is never tasting like chicken. Lol. It sounded good. The menu has lots to choose from and some things I haven't seen before. I ordered a pork eggroll, Bourbon Chicken and we got a container of chicken fried rice. It was delivered very quickly. Unfortunately the eggroll didn't make it into my bag, so that was disappointing. I did have the thought cross my mind, did the driver eat it? The bag was tied up but not stapled or taped. I really think based on my experience of Chinese restaurants auditing the orders and packaging, that they left it out. I have yet to ever in my life have an order be correct from a single Chinese restaurant. This is why generally I no longer do delivery for Chinese, I go and pick it up. I make them stand there while I pull everything out to figure out what they forgot. Every. Single. Time. And every time something is missing. I digress. The Bourbon Chicken had huge chunks of whole chicken in it. Not those little fatty yucky pieces that you sometimes get. The chicken was so tender, dark meat, probably thighs, but beautifully cooked. The bourbon sauce wasn't so syrupy and sweet and sticky like most. It was a nice thickness with the absolute perfect blend of sweet and tang. It was the BEST bourbon Chicken I have ever had!! A real treat. The onions were thick sliced, very fresh and crisp, not over cooked and all skinny. There were nice chunks of green pepper in her which was a nice kick next to the sweet of the bourbon sauce! I can't say it enough. THE BEST BOURBON CHICKEN EVER! The chicken was fresh, thick large pieces. It wasn't the little thin overly processed pieces of chicken many places have. The dark meat was tender, juicy and not over cooked. The chicken fried rice was delicious also! Everything was nicely packaged, not over sauced, over salted and no msg. I absolutely loved it! If you want to try a new or different Chinese place, please give them a try. I want to try one of the vegetable dishes next time, and crossing my fingers that I get to try an eggroll next time!!

Catherine B.

Yelp
My family will tell you that this is absolutely my favorite restaurant that we've eaten at around Louisville! I love the wonton soup, especially, as well as the fried noodles, dumplings, crab rangoon--honestly, everything that I've tried here. I highly recommend Ling Ling if you need Chinese food and you're in Louisville.

Anna L.

Yelp
First time to order carry out from Ling Ling. We ordered Shrimp & Vegetables plus order on diet menu of Steamed Vegetables, both with white rice. We ate plenty & have 2 meals of leftovers! Vegetables cooked to perfection. We will definitely order from here again! Bonus is they are only 5 minutes from our home.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
This was good Chinese food at a cheap price. I Picked up food for lunch. To go I had a lunch special sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice wonton soup and an egg roll. Under eight bucks! The kid at the counter Was polite, at first glance the place looks clean. It is located in the strip mall, and there is plenty of parking.

Donna D.

Yelp
I eat here because it is reliably good. I don't think it is truly Chinese but it's fast and consistent. Prices are good too.
google avatar

Phillip H.

Yelp
Worst Chinese food ever! Sweet & sour chicken was soggy! Complete mush! General Tso chicken was not at all spicy! Chicken chow mien was bland unseasoned chicken with sautéed cabbage! No vegetables what so ever except cabbage and no noodles! Not even 1! I mean, how can you call it chow mien when there are zero noodles in the dish? A disgrace to the Chinese people! I am enclosing a picture of Ling Ling's version of chicken chow mien! If I didn't know Ling Ling meant "Giant Panda" I would swear by their food it meant piss and shit!
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
This is our go to take our Chinese restaurant; affordable, fast and serving all the classics. Listen, coming from Queens, NY (Asian Capital of the Western Hemisphere) nothing here knocks my socks off. But considering it's on the Eastside of Louisville, Kentucky... this is pretty reliable take out.
google avatar

Zain K.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. The menu has typical fare, and I try to come for the lunch special since I think the regular prices are a bit higher than the competition. Particularly good are the shrimp with mixed veg and the hot and sour soup. Service is competent, though a little on the unfriendly side (then again, this seems par for the course for Chinese food in Louisville).

Lori P.

Yelp
Mostly take out but a few dine in tables. Very good food for a good price. You know a place is good when there's a constant take out crowd! Didn't disappoint

Caroline P.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!! the people who work at this restaurant are so sweet and the food is the best chinese food i've had! my boyfriend can be a picky eater and they recommend a lot of good options he ended up loving! i highly recommend everyone to try it next time you are craving chinese food! my family only eats here, we will always be loyal customers.

Kat S.

Yelp
Quick, inexpensive, very clean, & the food tasted great!!! I'll definitely be back. They were also very nice!!

Darryl K.

Yelp
Ordered a carry out meal from here for the first time on October 30th after realizing Szechuan Garden was closed until November 1st. Called from the parking lot to placed the order and watched as patron after patron pulled in to pickup their order. This was an indication that the food was probably good. My food was ready in 15 minutes as promised. And it was still hot after a 15 minute ride home. We ordered the shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice along with sweet and sour chicken. The gravy on the shrimp egg foo young was the perfect color and texture with an amazing flavor. The three large patties were awesome. Just enough shrimp, onions and green peas. Lots of flavorful chicken with the sweet and sour chicken. Only one piece of pineapple in the sauce. . The shrimp fried rice could have been cooked a bit longer but it was still pretty tasty. .Large portions. Enough food for dinner (for two) and lunch (for two) the next day. The quantity and quality of food exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be eating here again.

Yelp
If you're in a hurry (or not) and like delicious, inexpensive Chinese food, then this is great option. Located in a strip mall at the intersection of Shelbyville Road and Moser Road, there's nothing really eyepopping about the place itself...but who cares? Most people order carryout from there, so people are in and out of there constantly. They also deliver. But if you decide to eat in, the staff will bring your food out to you...quickly! I personally like their beef and/or chicken fried rice; crab Rangoon, and the hot and sour soup. There's plenty of parking too.

Debby H.

Yelp
I have had carry out and been there many times. I'm never disappointed. Portions are large, food is wonderful and they are so nice!
google avatar

Casey M.

Yelp
Overall, really enjoyed the food and it was cheap. It reminded me of a place I know in Prospect who served up good quality food at a decent price. It's just this really hole in the wall place, but I'd gladly go and have a meal there again. The food came out quick and isn't too far from where I work.
google avatar

Marybeth B.

Yelp
Way too salty. No thought to a meaningful dish. Eatable, but will not order takeout again.

Mel K.

Yelp
I am not sure why I did not like the food. I just moved in from Az and this was my first chinese takeout from Doordash while literally my place was empty because It was the first day that I moved in and was so craving for rice. The fried rice has some red sausage which i do not like, the potsticker was supposed to be deep fried but it looked steamed, I did not like the filling it tasted different. I am used to eating chinese food but this one tasted really really different. I am not sure I am ordering again from them.

Sienna D.

Yelp
None of this food tastes real. Hate to say it, but this is most definitely the worst Chinese food I've ever had, I eat it quite frequently. Throwing away more than half of my food. The rice is extremely dry and almost hard. The crab rangoon's had way too much cream cheese, no crab or imitation crab either. The crab rangoon's were too doughy in the center and way too crunchy on the ends. The sweet and sour sauce definitely needs a new recipe or something, tastes almost like cool-aid. The bread around the veggie egg roll was super thick and doughy. My meal was over all disgusting and made my stomach hurt. Maybe new recipes are needed

Dragunslayer 2.

Yelp
Used to be great food. But on our most recent visit we we're served intestines instead of chicken. Spent $68 on food that was disgusting. We will not be back.

Tredone W.

Yelp
Great restaurant!! The best Chinese restaurant in Louisville Kentucky. Great prices and the food is amazing!

Yelp
Ling Ling is really close to my house. It's my go-to Chinese restaurant in this neighborhood. The food is reasonably priced the the portion sizes are great. I had the beef fried rice on this last visit and it was delicious! The server even said it was his favorite on the menu. I usually get a veggie eggroll to go with this and a regular coke. They do a pretty good business here. Each time I'm there, they are busy taking phone orders and plenty of walk-ins. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Ashish P.

Yelp
Stopped in here the other day to get some Chinese while running some errands from work. My co-workers had mentioned just how great Ling Ling is and they were right. The location of the restaurant is right between the Fresh Market and Roosters on Shelbyville road. When I walked in, there was a decent lunch crowd. I ordered the Singapore Rice Noodles and before I even thought of taking a picture of the meal, it was gone. Needless to say, this restaurant serves great Chinese cuisine and service is great. Definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area wanting a good meal!
google avatar

Lexi B.

Yelp
We were very impressed with the prompt delivery, hot food, value, and size of servings. So much food comes with each order almost doubling the amount we get from our typical Chinese place. The food tasted great.
