Just had a lovely Melbourne Cup lunch here - set menu. The food was delicious and well presented. We were served by Lia who looked after us very well. She was very friendly and kept us informed of proceedings. Trudi did a great job serving and organising the sweeps. The manager (whose name escapes me) kept everything flowing effortlessly. Would recommend the Links for future events if they are as well organised as today was!

The Links is now a disgrace. We have been within walking distance to the pub since 2014. It has been convenient and great for kids however the management now are more interested in gaming and the TAB than what they are for restaurant service. We have twice in the last three weeks and not only have they had the inability to take an order correctly but they have then blamed the fact that they are too busy in the gaming room to clear sorry plates left on the table for over an hour and a half after the meal had been completed. Giving the RP an chance to redeem themselves I brought it up with them and explained that not only did their staff stuff a meal order but one of the 4 meals was 10 mins later than the rest. The RP did not try to make a means or apologise but instead said they were under staffed and were busy despite the restaurant being at least only half to three quarters full. When I later brought up the situation with the RP the RP made it clear that they were busy with the gaming area and this needed to be attended to immediately as opposed to the restaurant which could wait. There was no apology no nothing. Good hospitality is not hard. It is relatively simple. If you want a good meal and a good venue maybe head to the Seaton or the Lockleys. The excuse from a multinational organisation that they are short of staff is pathetic we are well post COVID now. Hard no from me.

Amazing service. We phoned 4 minutes before lunch finished and got told they would keep the kitchen open for us to come in. My friend ordered the roast of the day and loved it. I ordered The salad bar which was fresh, creative, and full of variety even at the end of the service. The staff were super friendly. One of the chefs came out and chatted to my friend and Lia went beyond, not only did she waited on our table faultlessly, she also did a beautiful job at promoting the links hotel and growing its service.

Was good. Pub has a kids area so you can enjoy your dinner while the kids play. The food was great and the bed is deliciously soft

Pleasantly surprised by the July break deal where kids can eat for just $5, with the purchase of any adult main. A generous sized kids menu choice, as well as a little salad, individual cheese portion, box of sultanas, jelly cup, Freddo Frog and a fruit box. Absolute value for money!

Basic motel but suitable for our purposes while in Adelaide. Public Transport stops right outside and located not far from the beach and local shopping centres. Restaurant in the pub and room service available. Meal we had was average at best so didn’t go back for more in the 4 nights we’ve stayed.

Stood in line waiting for what felt like an eternity to be served when lining up to order food. Staff either absent or walk off mid order. Same when standing at the bar to order drinks. Less than a handful of people waiting so no valid excuse for the wait. The meals were pretty good with the exception of the links burger which was a gross wet mess. First time diners from South of the city so no chance of returning.

Lia served me at the bar. She was the sweetest girl and made sure we were happy and welcomed. Thank you for your amazing service, definitely in need of a pay rise! We will be back

Yelp
This is one of those pubs that I have driven past multiple times but I have never stopped by to have a drink, so I decided to change that as soon as possible. When I had arrived in Adelaide one warm December morning, I managed to convince my Day to take the long way home so that we could stop here for a drink. Okay, it is basically what you would expect from your average suburban pub, though it does have a House of Schniztel attached to it (which appears to be a specifically South Australian addition to the ALH chain), meaning that they have a menu with more schnitzel toppings than you could ever try in a lifetime. What I do like about this pub is the beer garden (but then is that not the case with most pubs that have beer gardens), which has quite a nice suburban garden feel to it. Still, it is not necessarily one of those pubs that I would go out of my way to visit.

Yelp
"House of schnitzels".. Unfortunately not anymore since changing their menu. I have been dining here for years due to the chilled atmosphere, salad bar and I topping choices for schnitzels. While I admire everything else such as the pub like environment, semi restaurant feel.. My knowledge of the new schnitzel menu is why I wouldn't come back. The new toppings aren't "traditional" (what most people would order"). I think they have been trying to compare with other restaurants. Despite the unfamiliar topping choices, its cooked to perfection.

Yelp
I've driven past here thousands of times and decided to finally go inside with a friend. We really enjoyed the salad bar, especially the broccoli and artichoke hearts, however the soup was incredibly salty - neither of us could eat it. My friend had the wagyu beef which he enjoyed however the chips were apparently incredibly salty. I had the chilli prawns which was boring, too much rice and too much capsicum - I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't recommend coming here but if you're being forced to I'd go with the steak.

Yelp
Yay! I'm a fan. The Links Hotel have had an upgrade over the past few years, and it's looking quite spiffy if I do say so myself. As soon as you walk in you feel comfortable. I love the colour scheme of the reds and the browns, it really works and makes it feel like a pub...but better, if that makes sense. The food is pretty good, especially with a beer on the side. Considering the price you pay you get a huge amount of food. Sadly I couldn't finish all of my meal. I'm such a girl! I tried so hard, but I couldn't muster up the courage. It was nice though. I recommend the chicken parmi. If you're looking for a night out with your mates to watch the latest footy match and enjoy a good meal, then I'd head down to the Links Hotel.

Yelp
So! I attempted to come here one Friday night. The place was half full, screaming kids running around. Sat at a table, decided on our meals, went and waited in line. There were 3 girls behind the bar, a man was ordering, he'd paid but continued to stand there and chat to the girls. There was another till one of them could have kept serving the waiting customers on, but they continued to talk for another good 15 minutes until I thought it was a joke and walked out. I left and went down the road to the Seaton and got my cheap but quality meal within 10 minutes of being there. I don't bother to go else where anymore.

Yelp
I went here to celebrate my dads 60th birthday, we ordered our food (2 garlic breads, 4 schnitzels and fish) at 7:30pm, we didn't receive our garlic bread until 8:30 after we asked where it was, it came out cold and very dry. We sat for another 10minutes waiting for our mains and when we complained they told is our food had just been put on!! Asked for a refund and left, I will never go back!

Yelp
Outdated, poor service, poor menu choices. Can't see this place lasting much longer in its current form.
