A Hidden Gem in the Southern Highlands.|We just had our wedding reception hosted by the fabulous Megan and the Hotel’s team of professionals! It was perfect. The food was brilliant the room was set exactly to our changing needs without any fuss. The front garden was our ceremony location again nothing was too much trouble . |Accommodation was great wifi worked as it should so we could stream our celebrations to absent family! |A great couple of days that will live long in our memory.

My wife and I stayed here on the way from Mel Bourne to Sydney. The hotel is quaint and very comfortable. We stayed in a Wilkinson Room – Queen, which was very comfortable and absolutely silent at night. We even had the window open. The ensuite is functional, but tiny; it turned out that it was the first hotel in Australia to have them, so there is a bit of history there! The breakfast room was bright, and overlooked the golf course, which was pleasant. The food was hearty and tasty. The hotel had a lovely rustic, but comfortable, feel. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful evening here recently. Was a cold night so the fire place in the lounge was very welcoming as was the welcome glass of port on arrival. Whole place is very quirky but beautiful. We were very toasty in the room as there were a couple of heaters as well as electric blanket on the bed. Food was out of this world - very different choices which were very delicious. We will be back 😀

Fantastic food and fantastic service. A nice quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing we could fault with the food, drinks or service. Michael was great. We were greeted warmly on arrival and had such a lovely dinner celebrating our friend. Would highly recommend.

Restaurant is overlooking the garden and golf course with very pretty views.Food is a very high quality and staff service is faultless. Internal garden is peaceful and relaxing as is the very eclectic guest lounge.Quite a gem in the Southern Highlands 5 minutes from Bowral.

We had an amazing experience at Links House Ethos Restaurant. Michael truly went above and beyond to make our evening perfect. The food and wine were delightful, the service was exceptional, and the view was breathtaking—especially the rainbow during sunset, which Michael thoughtfully captured for us! We will be back!

We had lunch at your restaurant and enjoyed it very much. Menu is a selection of classics with a local twist, well executed and full of flavours. We tried the goat’s cheese soufflé, prawns, gnocchi, salmon and fillet steak. It was all delicious. For the dessert we shared the brûlée. Probably the best brûlée I ever had! The light bergamot flavours brought this dish to the next level. Wine list is a mix of local, Aussie, French and Italian wines, very well priced. Intimate dining room fits around 30 people and looking over the golf course. Service was excellent, friendly, professional and warm. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Links House was built in the 1920's so don't think you are going to stay in a cold, razor sharp and stiff establishment. This is a grand old bird with all the charm that comes with a place of this age and it perfectly reflects spirit of Bowral itself. The mini bar is not mean on selection or price and the wine glasses, and this is a small thing I admit but important when considering the care and thought involved, are not those small thimbles on a stem you usually find but rather real wine glasses. The staff are, and I mean this absolutely, are friendly and warm without exception and nothing is too much trouble. In fact I would go so far as to say you are treated more like an old friend who is staying for the night than a paying guest at a hotel. On our first night we dined at restaurant and as well as the food being delicious the portion sizes were very generous. The lounge I mentioned earlier is a comfortable room that has soft furnishings and an open fire and fills the room with the kind of warmth only a real log fire can deliver. You are instantly at ease and I felt so at home I fell asleep on the couch. As far as we are concerned it the THE place to stay in Bowral if you are looking to relax and take it easy.
