Linneanum in Uppsala is a must-visit for nature and history enthusiasts! Located in the heart of the beautiful Botanical Garden, this grand building was built in honor of Carl Linnaeus, the famous Swedish botanist. Inside, you’ll find fascinating exhibits related to Linnaeus’ work and contributions to botany. The serene atmosphere and rich history make Linneanum a hidden treasure in Uppsala.

Linneanum has a 200-year-old building along with a very beautiful park and botanical garden. It consists of Linnaean laurel trees, and many other typical hothouse plants; figs, oranges, olives, laurustinus and hundred-year-old agaves. It is located just opposite Uppsala Castle. Usually, the fire show of the Cultural Night of Uppsala is organised in the park. There is also a very beautiful water fountain located in the middle. I will highly recommend visiting the place if you are in Uppsala.

Great park to walk around and hangout. The water fountain is a central place to hangout and put your feet in the water to cool off
