I recommend this hostel, because it's probably the only place in town, where you can get a private room at a very nice location for a great price 42€ for a night! I feel lucky that my room had a quiet location and was close to the bathroom/toilet and surprised by the quality of the mattress. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, no stiff back in the morning, no heavy legs, I woke up rested well, with the power for another adventurous day. I would only suggest to improve the ventilation in the rooms without windows, because during the night you can get low on oxygen! 🙂 Linnè hostel is a good place for all, who travel on budget and appreciate their private space. It also deserves a big thank you for the contribution at my visit in Sweden, which made my dream come true. Tack!

Great location, but that's all. Not even a hairdryer in in the bathroom available, and when we found and reported insects in the room, the owner refused to communicate with us. Avoid this place if you can!

I chose the place for it's moderate price but still acceptable location. The room was very cramped with 3 beds though I only needed one. Service was non-existent, as the only communication was a message with a door code through the booking app and check-in/check-out worked through key in room and key drop. I had several questions, like if I could leave my baggage during the day, but I never got any answer, even though there were two days time to get back to me. Other than that, the place was acceptably clean and I had a good night's sleep.

We booked our room a month in advance. They overbooked. Our room was canceled a few hours before we were set to check in. We now have nowhere to stay. Avoid at all cost

This was not good. Ok ur didn’t have a window and had horrible ventilation. The air duct had a plastic bag stuck in it and it was only sucking out making the large gap under the door be our only way of getting new air. The ventilation system was also really loud and the walls smelled and looked like they had some mold. The room also smelled like urine.

Very nice place, wouldn't stay more than 2 nights though. Had to fix the bedsheets myself also. The toilets were ok, spacious and there was some kind of soap(hand soap) No baggage storage, and the kitchen is not really nice There was also a weird nasty smell probably from an apartment so couldn't really say anything Very convenient location tho!

Location is awesome and price is good. Toilet, showers, kitchen are all clean, up to date and we always felt totally comfortable using it. Met some nice people in the shared kitchen. Honestly, I don’t get the bad reviews. We stayed here as a couple and would totally do it again. Don’t expect a five star hotel, but it’s still a nice hostel.

A hostel in Gothenburg city with quite good location and price. We booked a twin bed room for 4 nights. There is nothing except beds and a cupboard in the room. The toilet and bathroom is shared, so is the kitchen. There is no reception and any service here, so we have to help ourselves for all. The room and the public is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The drawbacks are that some guests are not well behaved and the facilities are old and too simple. Anyway, it is still a nice place to stay for a short time in this city, and its price is much affordable than others.
