The hostel self check in system is quite convenient. A bit far from city centre but there is tram station outside. Restaurants are nearby. Locker inside dorm room but you need to prepare own lock. Overall I would recommend this hostel.

I stayed here 8 nights in March 2025. Value for money. Very clean. Everything working. I did not book direct & my travel agent had not forwarded any of my contact details. Hostel could not pre-send me entry info so I had a cold afternoon waiting for other people to open front door. If they can contact you all is seamless.

Utterly appalling stay. Booked a double room for me and my girlfriend and got a twin room. We were told that this is the Swedish standard. No baggage storage, getting harassed by the cleaners at 8am, twice to clean the room before check out. DO NOT STAY here

Really nice hostel, staff are very helpful and friendly and it is very clean and comfortable. ||Also very quiet so good for sleeping! Nice communal area with sofas so easy to meet people if you want to. ||Just across the road from a tram and bus stop so very easy to get into the centre (trams 1 and 2 or bus 25).

Great location close to the park and easily reachable by public transport. The rooms are very nice for a good price and the included breakfast is also great. Only downside is the check-in when you book through booking.com. In that case you have to find someone to let you in.

They charge 75sek ($11aud) for bed linen and email you about this after the time to cancel the booking has already passed. What kind of a hostel does this? Pathetic service. Unethical and operates in bad faith. Also the reception is only open from 8-11am. What a joke! Wouldn't stay here again. Avoid.

The room was quite big, but it was very cold, I slept with my boyfriend’s beanie on. I didn’t liked the fact that the sheets for the bed aren’t included in the price. You have to pay for a set which is 75kr. Is not too much but it bothered me that if you book a room for two, with a queen bed,you’ll receive two beds pressed on each other, so you have two small beds instead of one, and they make you pay for two linens, which by the way, weren’t that clean. So I suggest you to bring your own. And it’s not comfortable to sleep like this, because it is a whole gap between you and your partner. I liked the kitchen, it was clean and even though you have to pay for a breakfast, they provide with some food that you can take which is for free. The bathrooms are clean, even though I’ve never seen a woman to clean them, but you have there soap and some sort of shower gel and shampoo combined. The local it is clean itself, there is no one at the reception but that wasn’t a problem for us. I recommend if you don’t have high expectations or standards. It is a good price, you’re close to the Slottskogen Göteborg park and the botanical garden. The view was beautiful, and downstairs to the left it is a sushi pub with very good food you can try if you like sushi.

We came to the Hostel to stay for our first Sweden Trip and if I would have the choice, I would have stayed there forever! The self Check in at night worked without any problems, and the room was beautiful, clean, cosy and even had a TV and a balcony. The shower and toilet were the next door, so it felt like in a hotel room with your own bathroom. We booked breakfast and it was really good, enough vegetarian options, fruit, fresh smoothies, warm boiled eggs.. the staff was so nice and helpful with any questions we had. I will recommend this Hostel to everyone who tells me about visiting Göteborg, in the five days it became a home for us!

I stayed here for two night, and was very happy with my choice. What i liked - friendly service -clean -they have elevator -there is a female only dorm -breakfast (is extra when you stay in dorm, but well worth it) -when reception is closed, there is still a smart system to check in Will definitely stay here again
