We went for dinner. Food tasted OK, the traditional decor is beautiful. We ordered kebab and lamb chops. It seemed to me that the price was a bit high for the portion. All windows closed, stuffy atmosphere. The 2 staff trying their best, but service was a bit slow.

They tell us that the rooms are 60 euros per person and when we come to pay they tell us its 80 per person, the staff at the reception was being rude that we are wrong and we don’t have right to talk, the rooms are dirty and smelly. We came to check in and the housekeepers were still cleaning our rooms and we came later that our check in time.By the way full of dust and broken glasses not safe for kids. And the power stations don’t work and the one that work burned our hair straightener . And the air conditioner doesn’t work in any room

Basic room, generally clean. Lumpy, uncomfortable bed. Sheets didn't fit bed. Brilliant shower although screen didn't stop bathroom flooding. Could hear everything the guests above us were doing....including using the toilet. As it was Christmas day we phoned to ask if we could have things off the menu and was told yes. However the only option was a buffet. Everything was barely warm, including soup, meat was dry and inedible. Staff not overly helpful or friendly.

Good food polite employee the place was in a very very bad condition under one construction unfinished room an ather with broken ac in the end we stayed in one that was smelly like it hasn't been opened for months with an ac that at least start but didn't work properly . An ather good point is that the room we took in the end was over the river with a nice balcony the balcony and the food was the only decent things still if i was not tired i would prefer to forget the money i gave and find an ather place to stay

Dirty rooms, with crumbs and rubbish over the floor from the previous guests. Ants over the floor due to the food everywhere. No fan or AC. Did not provide us with hand soap, body wash or shampoo. Cramped, dirty bathroom which smelled like sewers. Curtains were very thin and there was a light opposite the room. Made it very difficult to sleep. Overall, hated every moment that we were there and woke up more tired than when I had gone to sleep.

The previous reviews almost put me off visiting, however I’m now glad it didn’t. We travelled as a family of 5 and a dog.||Cost - €170 for 2 x rooms on NYE which included breakfast. €130 spent on the evening for food and drink which kept us all going until after midnight. In comparison to eat out at a restaurant on NYE I expected this to be double in price.||Restaurant & Food - We had a set price buffet, not many options however this included dessert. The food was nice and started at 2100, so it was nice to have a few drinks beforehand. Ordering off the menus was also available. The breakfast the next morning was basic but we was happy with it. The restaurant was packed full and it’s a good job we booked a table. It was a cosy setting with a log fire, bar ect.||Entertainment - I’m not sure if this is routinely in place or just for NYE but It was good, the kids were not a fan as it was traditional guitar/ singing. The adults enjoyed this as it really made you feel as if you was away from home and in the heart of Cyprus. They kept us all entertained until the new year.||The staff - No problems at all. They was plenty around and we was never waiting for drinks.||The rooms - the two rooms we got just so happened to open up in the middle which was ideal for us as it felt like one house with two bathrooms. They was a fireplace however we just turned on the electric heaters. We had a TV and internet in both rooms. A cot bed was added for one of the kids. The location of the rooms were less than 25m to the restaurant. The rooms felt cosy at it was winter (summer could be a different story) and it was a different experience for the kids compared to the 4 /5* hotels on the coast.||Cleanliness - I mention this separately as it is mentioned a lot in the previous reviews. It had clearly been cleaned however these are old buildings with stone floors and wood beams. It’s not a room that I wound want to sit in all day, my opinion is if I am sat in the room all day I will be missing out on the surrounding area and village. Also because I had a dog I was happy with no carpets and things been older. That said if I was staying for anymore than two days and did not have the dog I would look to stay somewhere a little more modern to no doubt at a higher price.||Village - Looked great at night with all the Christmas tree lights on. Everything close and it felt like been in the 1800s. Nice views, rivers, restaurants, shops. The walk was less then 5 mins from our room.||Summary (in winter) - In my opinion if you enjoy camping or staying in places where things are not always immaculate then this is a nice place to visit. If you need to feel in a clean environment all the time then stick to the 4*+ hotels probably on the coast. I have stayed in hotels in Paphos, Aya Napa and Protaras which did not give us the same experience or atmosphere. If anything this was probably one of the better places we have stayed at, and as a package was good overall.

We visited this place for dinner on Christmas Eve. The food was fresh and tasty. The place is cosy and traditionally decorated as one would expect it to be. Service needs to be improved. The place is slightly overpriced for the quality of food you receive but the options of restaurants in the village are not many. If you take the walk way from the village square you have to walk for about 6 minutes at a slope of 45 degrees that is quite tiring (avoid it if you have kids with you). This is not a “must production / touristic” place nor a five star Michelin restaurant.

After a small search to find the place, in the old town, down the narrowest of streets, it lovely. The old town is traditional houses, jammed in so close with tiny cobbles alleys between.|The staff were excellent and very pet friendly with then knowing the dogs name and remembering it. |We had a meal and breakfast there and they were very nice.|The traditional style was quaint but clean and the underfloor heating kept the room hotter than we wanted but the -1 degrees outside came in through the opened balcony door. |I’d be happy to recommend the place and will be going back
