Amazing breakfast ar Linx Tavern inside of Ocean Edge Resort. This beautiful place in open for public which is great and it’s located right on the golf course. They just started doing breakfast service 7 days a week besides regular lunch and dinner. Our breakfast today was delicious, would recommend ti everyone.

Google
A pleasant experience overall. Definitely make a reservation. Tried calling ahead for one, but the phone is never picked up. Showed up without a reservation, and was promptly turned away. Making a reservation online is your best bet. The food is very good and the portions are just right. The wait staff get overwhelmed on occasion and mix the orders or may entirely forget about a part of your order. But a little reminder goes a long way, and the errors are promptly corrected. Will definitely go there again if in the area.

Google
Wish they had more vegetarian options with proteins considerations. But 5/5 for location, ambience and service. Pasta asked to be made vegetarian also tasted fishy perhaps due to using the same fry pan

Corinne G.

Google
Food menu was limited. We were never told specials. Shrimp scampi was more like a cheese base. The kids meals were shockingly sparse. The noodles had barely a 1/2 cup and cheese quesadillas enough for a 4 year old but not enough for anyone over a small toddler. Drinks expensive. I wouldn’t return.

Google
Excellent food, service, and scenic outside seating. Linx offers a veriety of dishes, including vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommend!

Google
We went here for breakfast on a Wednesday and they only offered buffet. The buffet was mediocre, comparable to a hotel with free breakfast. There were dried up scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, fresh fruit, breakfast pantries, toast, bagels, oatmeal with basic toppings, and some packaged single serve cereals. They shut down the buffet promptly at 10:30am so I didn't get a chance to take a photo.

Google
Had a nice lunch at the Linx Tavern. I ordered the steak & cheese with fries. Nice experience with good service.

Google
Ate on the patio, beautiful setting, good service. 19th hole Burger and fries were excellent. Would return on my next vacation to Cape Cod (not to mention it’s an excellent golf course!)

Yelp
Food was decent here. We stayed on the property and were too lazy to drive out so this was the next best thing. Came in during lunch time and it was semi packed. We ordered take out at the bar, while waiting we got drinks. The best out of everything we got was the Crab Dip. Everything was else was okay (fish & chip, salad, calamari). The place wasn't too big but it has patio seating which would be perfect for warmer weather. Price was high, it's typically for Cape Cod though. I would come back for the crab dip!!

Yelp
We loved our dinner at Linx. Service was great, food was outstanding, and you couldn't beat the views! It was so nice to be right on the golf course. We dined on the patio which is hard to beat on a beautiful day.

Yelp
We had a really nice casual meal at Linx Tavern tonight. The clam chowder gets an A+. It was just the right thickness, loaded with clams, potatoes were not mushy, and it was nicely seasoned. My husband ordered fish & chips and I had their autumn salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was nice and fresh, not chewy like sometimes at other places. The salad had a slightly tangy mustard dressing. Our server was David, and he was delightful. The noise level is energetic, because the bar is in the center.

Yelp
Great night at the Linx We went to cocktail hour and enjoyed sharing stories with the club members and loved both bartenders John and David Diane renewed a friendship with Sean's dad We both said we were sorry we had not picked up on Friday nights sooner

Yelp
This place is, in my opinion, a very solid 3-4 star experience. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but as an option at the end of a round of golf, or at the end of a day at the pool / beach, it's convenient and has some good options on the menu. The staff is fantastic, really friendly, and very good about making sure everyone is safe and taken care of during COVID times. The patio is large and while they COULD accommodate large groups, they're actually great about breaking groups into smaller pods to stay safe. Baked oysters - the first time I had these they were GREAT. The lemon parsley brown butter lends richness against the salinity of the oysters and the shallots on top were perfectly crispy. The second time I ordered these, they were fine. Kinda soggy, almost like they'd been sitting out. So this one might be hit or miss, but the oysters were never not fresh, which is the most important part. Salt and peppercorn cod - cooked PERFECTLY. Served with squash, which were also done perfectly, had a bit of crunch/chew still to them. The lobster arancini was crispy outside and creamy inside, though I wanted more lobster flavor. Deviled eggs - I'd skip these. They're a "hip" menu item these days, but I've had way better elsewhere. These were a bit rubbery and needed more seasoning. Other stuff looked good, like the burgers, steak, and lamb chops. The ambiance is great. So like I said, solid offering.

Yelp
A must visit if Near or in Brewster. A top notch restaurant with excellent service and culinary delights. We all had different selections but each enjoyed! Thank You!

Yelp
We had two meals at this restaurant and both were really good. There was ample outdoor seating and even indoors so long as all of their windows and doors are open, the seating is essentially outdoor. In no particular order, we had the Roasted Local Zucchini Guacamole with chips which was light and refreshing, basically blended zucchini dressed with some lemon and oil; Ceasar salad which was good; fish and chips with a large portion of fresh and flaky fish; lobster roll with chunky meat and not a lot of filler; clam chowder which was as good as it gets; flat iron steak, cooked very well; pork shoulder ragu, with the pork seasoned well, but the sauce was a little runny; seared sea scallops, charred to perfectio; and roasted mushroom gnocchi, which was solidly good. We also had the house white which was fine. Service was friendly and attentive. For a resort restaurant, this place serves solid food and not-outrageous prices. We would go back again when in the area.

Yelp
The food was very good. The cod was delicious but very overpriced. ONE piece of cod with a bunch of French fries for $24??? The Bolognese pasta was delicious. Burger was average. Excellent clam chowder. Server was unenthusiastic.

Yelp
Ok so we were excited to try this place, the ambiance and location are really good. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. I do have to give them a 3 because the food was not great. We ordered the front 9 salad with chicken. The salad did not have the Gorgonzola which was one of the reasons I ordered. No explanation was provided. The chicken and the salad had good flavor. The banana cake dessert had a lot of ice cream, which normally is a good thing, but the cake was so flavorless, that not even the ice cream can rescue it. I hope they improve their food quality.

Yelp
This was an amazing experience. Monique told us her story and it added to our night. Can't believe we've missed out on this much enjoyment before tonight.

Yelp
We are staying on property so we ordered takeout. It is a very convenient location however food was mediocre, small portions and overpriced.

Yelp
Absolutely AMAZING service and delicious food! Only bought one drink and it did the job! MAGNIFICENT! Highly recommend the apple cheese pastry with potato salad on the appetizer menu and their margarita.

Yelp
New menu items were delicious Chef Brock gets it done right and the FOH manager Steve will make sure you have an amazing time

Yelp
We got into Brewster at about 830p on a Wednesday night. Checked into the Ocean Edge Resort and it seemed everything closed at 9pm. Went to a restaurant just before 9p and was told the kitchen was closed... argggh. Cape Life. Thank God the Linx Tavern was open (thought they closed but were open until 10pm). Not only open but VERY friendly, great menu, great service and one of the best Caesar Salads I have had.. lightly dressed. I had the lobster roll and my husband had the burger. The food came right out, the french fries were hot, and we were so grateful. Can't wait to go visit in the daytime as I am sure the views of the golf course are great!

Yelp
Dined at Linx Tavern while staying at Villages at Ocean Edge in early August for a week. Service never disappointed and food was good, as well. They often have excellent soups-of-the-day ... mainly vegetarian, in my experience, but sometimes with a chicken broth base. Ask first, but their soups are definitely not phone-it-in and a genuine surprise. Across our family, we've had the fish and chips, the burger, oysters and calamari too. Fantastic patio that's uniquely perfect for social distance dining.

Yelp
Delicious lobster sliders and salmon entree. Beautiful view and great service by Jay. Great selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks. Dine in or out.

Yelp
Okay- I understand places may be under staffed during COVID, or even after COVID, or whatever stage we're in now. However, being seated at 7:15, and not getting drinks for an hour, while seated with 2 kids is kind of a joke. We had the zucchini appetizer which was good, but honestly, I don't really remember it because we were so hungry we ate it so quickly. The chips that came with it were good. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because my 9 year old son said his grilled cheese was great. My other son had chicken fingers that were cold, small, and more fried batter than chicken. The portion of my wife's meal, the cod, was small, and had a distinct smell of fish- which wasn't a good sign. My meal, the gnocchi, was overly seasoned, to the point that I couldn't actually taste anything but salt. We ended up leaving close to 9 pm. With 2 kids, that's a long meal. Good thing they had TVs.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Went there with my friend for dinner, the food was mediocre, the Quality of the wine was OK, but for the price overall, It wasn't worth my money. We took a Caesar salad and a risotto. Both were dry and had no taste. The risotto wasn't even one. Very disappointed. The service was good but the server forgot to ask us if we wanted any dessert. After asking we had only two options of dessert that didn't seem good.

Tessa M.

Yelp
The service is painfully slow and generally disinterested. There seems to be some management issues causing staffing shortages (or maybe it's the Cape-wide staffing shortage, I don't know) and it results in the service staff racing around trying to do so many things. We're sitting at lunch waiting for 30+ minutes for salads, surrounded by empty unbussed tables.

Yelp
It is a pricey place with limited choices. The food was good though- tasty and fresh. The portion was just enough. The staff are very nice!

Yelp
We loved this restaurant. I normally don't leave reviews but we had a great lunch. On vacation for 10 days and we made a point to try a lobster roll everyday and we succeeded, and by far I enjoyed the one I got here the best it had the most lobster and it was large chunks. Typically, the roll falls apart and I end up eating with a fork but the bun was toasted perfectly which kept the roll together. We also shared the wings which our server suggested and we loved them. I should add I was with a few picky eaters and everyone's plate was empty. We sat out on the deck overlooking the golf course and it was a very relaxing atmosphere and the service was perfect. The server also pointed out the specialty drink menu and made a few suggestions and we tried a few of them and liked them all especially "the turn." My only regret is that we found this place towards the end of our stay. The restaurant is at the resort but the sign said open to the public so if you live close by or staying at the resort you should try.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic. Great drinks, amazing food. Nice atmosphere. The staff is beyond amazing, so incredibly friendly. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Awesome dining experience.

Yelp
If you're not a member with a big sticker on your shirt that says "I'm a Member", go somewhere else. The service is lousy. Been there twice and walked out before we were ever even acknowledged. How hard is it to greet someone and ask if they want anything to eat or drink? The Linx Stinks!!!!!

Marissa G.

Yelp
Terrible food. Do yourself a favor and go to McDonald's. The food is much better. Could you imagine??? $200 for a dinner for 4 and almost everything was inedible. Very disappointed!
google avatar

Yelp
Really Ocean Edge Resort? It's the Monday before the biggest week on Cape Cod, you have a great band, Earth Junior, and you close the Shark Bah at 8pm with a full crowd and a whole second set to play. Not sure this is worth the price of admission. Way to give your guests a great experience. Completely Dissatisfied.

Yelp
We made a reservation for nine people for a family dinner on a Sunday at 630. When we arrived they said they did not have our reservation, said they had a party of 28 and they could split us up and put us in separate areas. We clearly said no and left. They made no attempt to accommodate us or show remorse for their clear neglect, I would Not recommend them at all. We come to the cape for a week every year and will make sure we don't try this place again.

Yelp
Breakfast review only: The breakfast is buffet style setup. The set up itself is somewhat uncomfortable because the food is placed on high tables and it rests on pedestals. the food is approximately at shoulder height and I'm 5'4, needless to say it is a challenge to serve yourself. They served the following: Eggs Potatoes French toast Syrup Bacon Sausage Oatmeal Fruits (pineapple, melon, cantaloupe, strawberries with blueberries) Yogurt Cheese Danish, cinnamon roll, croissants muffins Plain bagel and Everything bagel White toast and Wheat toast Cream cheese and jelly They also offer orange juice, apple juice, coffee, water. May offer additional items to drink for breakfast but I'm not sure. The service was pretty good the waiter came by several times to make sure we were ok. The variety was limited for the price, the bill was $30.50 for my 9 year old daughter and myself, neither of us ate much (it really wasn't my cup of tea but we were there already). There was no menu offered so I'll assume all they have is what is offered in the Buffett. Over all: uncomfortable setup, decent service, ok food but no variety and overpriced. If you can, skip this place and go elsewhere.

Yelp
My meal at the Linx Tavern was the worst I had during my two week trip to Cape Cod. Linx is in a beautiful setting right on the golf course. Plenty of parking. You have choice of dining alfresco or in the dining room. Our waitress was very friendly and we had no complaints about the service. The food was another story. Upon being seated, we were given dinner rolls harder than the diamond on my mother's ring finger. You needed a diamond-steel saw to cut them in half. We hacked away at them before giving up. We ordered salads and calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was overcooked and the fried batter was very heavy. There were also numerous dark brown calamari rings on the plate that you could tell were in the fryer from the last batch of calamari that was cooked, The salads were good but the dressing was very heavy. Our entrees were the worst of the food we had the displeasure of being served. The prosciutto wrapped chicken was tiny. It was one chicken thigh (bone IN) served with a couple tablespoons of mashed cauliflower. The chicken was moist but there were only three-four bites to be had after taking it off the bone. We also ordered the steak which was overcooked, I requested medium rare and received a well done cut of meat. It was served with flavorless mashed potatoes and carrots that were not even cooked. They were rocked hard and as if someone dipped them in a cup of luke warm water and considered them 'steamed.' The restaurant was quite busy during our visit so I am not sure why the food was so terrible. I don't think that it was a case of low turnover but rather an instance where the chef preparing the meals had visions of grandeur with a fast-food skill level. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Went here last weekend; were seated quickly as we had a reservation but that's where the great service ended. We waited 20 minutes for a drink menu and to place our drink orders. We placed our appetizers at the same time. Our drinks and appetizers arrived shortly after and then no one ever came back. We would have dropped our money and left but we didn't have a bill. Finally my husband ask the host for our bill, $45 for 2 drinks and appetizer and zero service. I understand it's the off season but simple follow through is still needed.

Yelp
EXCELLENT service EXCELLENT food BEAUTIFUL atmosphere!! brought our friends there from Florida and we all can't wait to go back for more!! The wings and Lobster roll couldn't be better!! THE BEST I've ever had!!

Yelp
Service is Not good, menu items not available and the food tastes like a low budget catered affair.

Yelp
Staying nearby at the Villages so easy enough to walk there for breakfast. It was buffet style and modest selection but of good quality. Four stars for view over golf course which was lovely and for the staff. A lovely woman spending her summer working here from Ireland.

Chuck L.

Yelp
A very expensive breakfast buffet! We were staying next door with friends from the UK and wanted to spend time with them. They suggested waking here so we joined them. Our waitress was a cranky old woman who spilled hot coffee and juice on everything including herself. She seemed put out when our friends asked for tea. In her defense, she may have been the only person waiting on tables, but she was lacking basic people skills. We had 5 adults and 4 kids in our party. The kids and my wife had fruit and a muffin. I had a very bland scrambled egg, over cooked bacon and a couple sausage links. It was your basic Hampton Inn buffet except the cost was $80 for four of us plus a tip for Gertrude. The night before I had one draft beer for $7. I left after that because it was like a wake in there. Maybe that's why Gertrude was is such bad shape the next morning? Sorry for your loss (My future business).

Yelp
The food has been much improved this season, the service has been outstanding and the outdoor dining experience exceptional! Our server, Isabelle, could not have been more outgoing, friendly, and willing to please. An exceptional dining experience!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I recently dined at Linx Tavern, after learning that it is open to the public. Because it's located adjacent to a private golf course, we assumed it was only for players. What a pleasant surprise! We had a wonderful lunch outside overlooking the gorgeous course. I had the portobello burger (a nice alternative to the endless fried fish and pizza offerings on the Cape) and my boyfriend had the bacon cheeseburger, which he raved about. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to stopping in again during our next weekend visit.

Lauren P.

Yelp
We came here for my brother's birthday, which we told the waitress, and she seemed not to care. Our food took over an hour but hardly an apology was made. During our wait, a waiter pulled a table and chairs in from the rain to seat a couple. When the man asked the waiter to dry the chairs better, the waiter replied he had just dried them; when the man asked if they could move somewhere away from the wind, which was blowing rain onto the table, the waiter rudely replied that he had made a special accommodation to seat them there and could offer nothing better. The food, when it came, was lousy, lacking flavor and care. Don't come here.
google avatar

Tammie S.

Yelp
This was my first visit to The Cape and this was my first stop to eat in the area. Holy moly. To say it was delicious is an understatement. I'm still craving the Sweet Thai chili Chicken wings. Planned to go back before we left but time got away from us. If only ubereats could deliver!! I also had the grilled chicken salad which had a south west dressing that was SO incredibly delicious and TO DIE FOR! I seriously could have eaten here everyday and been more than happy. My boyfriend had the Lobster roll which won hands down the best he had on our vacation. It was loaded with big overflowing chunks of LOBSTAH! I had a delicious cocktail called The Turn which tasted like a tea drink. So refreshing. The manager Steve gave me several the recommendations off this awesome menu. It's a must try. You will not be disappointed and if you see Steve give him a big shout out. Such a gorgeous view as well!!
google avatar

Lilly S.

Yelp
Everything we had was just fine but nothing was great. Definitely pretty good service but the food itself just wasn't anything special. We had clam chowder and salads. Not the best chowder and the salad sounded better than it actually was. A tad overpriced but not unreasonable. I wouldn't go here unless I was staying at the hotel and felt a bit lazy, basically.
google avatar

Katherine G.

Yelp
Looks nice but the service is not worth it. Food came out at random times so out of the three people at our table on average one had a plate of food, then when they were finishing it the next person go theirs. And the food was also not worth it for the price you pay.
google avatar

Beth R.

Yelp
Food was good, but service was very slow even though it was Sunday night and not busy.

Yelp
We have been members here at Ocean Edge for 12 years. We want to see their restaurants survive. But we have had it with all their horrible service and food. We went to the Linx for dinner last night and our waiter at first was cordial. But we waited 45 minutes for a salad. When it came, it was not the one we ordered. He bristled and insisted this was the salad we ordered. We asked to see the menu. He said he would be right back. 15 minutes later, no waiter. I had to get up to get the menu to show him he was wrong. A different server brought our dinners to us. Ok, but when she asked what else she could bring us and we asked for another round of drinks she told us she was underage and couldn't take our drink order. Ugh. Where is our waiter? Nowhere to be found. My husband had to physically go up to the bar and pay for the drinks separately. The saddest part is this happens on a yearly basis. Ocean Edge wants to be a 4 star resort but they run it like a cheap hotel. DO NOT WASTE your money on any part of Ocean Edge!
google avatar

Amuse B.

Yelp
Had an average plate of steak tips and fries here. The lemonade cocktail was all the rage at our table though. The fish tacos were very watery and sloppy and the flavor didn't make up for it unfortunately.
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
After checking into the Ocean Edge Resort my husband and I were looking for a quick and fulfilling lunch, since this place was across from the villages we were staying in we decided to try. The hostess sat us right away outside as we requested. The views outside were very nice as they have a pristine golf course. Our server was very friendly, but didn't seem to know the menu or daily specials very well. We decided to start off with the crab cakes and also ordered our lunch at the same time, since we were pressed for time. The crab cakes didn't take to long to come out and tasted fresh. For lunch we ordered a flatbread and turkey club. I am very understanding that a restaurant can get busy, but this place was not overflowing with people or having a wait for people to get in.( About 2pm in the afternoon) It took close to 45 mins for us to get our food and to be honest it wasn't that great. My flatbread was burnt on the bottom, the crust was not flavorful, and the overall ingredients lacked flavor and freshness. I asked my husband how his club was and his response, "one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had." My husband explained that it lacked freshness and tasted very bland. We were in a hurry as we had to get ready for a 4 o'clock wedding on the resort property, so upon getting our food we had to get our bill. For a $60 dollar lunch with tip I really would have expected and wanted more. If you're staying at the resort I would only come here for appetizers and drinks.

Glen F.

Yelp
No one seemed to have a clue. We were given the wrong menus, so had to re-order. We were given new menus and a new waiter, who got the order wrong. All we wanted was a Reuben to split and two small salads, blue cheese on the side. We ended up with a greasy burger and garnish. Also, for all you out-of-towners, it's not a tavern, or a pub. It is a restaurant on a golf course. Seating both inside and out.

Dave M.

Yelp
Had a great weekend at oceans edge for my nieces wedding..had breakfast and post golf snacks at linx tavern food was great service as on point led by Steve who recommended the wings which were awesome!!

Yelp
The roof is falling! The roof is falling! Look at the news! The roof is falling. Eat outside on the patio. It may save your life. Buildings at this place collapse and the town building Department isn't the sharpest....

Yelp
Kid friendly and casual. It was actually bustling on Friday night. Good is okay. Miso glaze salmon was 4/5 but salad had too much dressing.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very average bar in the Ocean Edge development that overlooks a golf course. OK beer and food selection. I don't have much to say because it's just OK

Yelp
We visited the outdoor area for drinks & appetizers. The clam chowder was the best we have had so far! The crab cakes were good & presentation was great. Very attentive, social staff. Love it!
