The kind of beach that makes you forget what day it is. We got here by renting a tricycle — a bit pricey, but totally worth it! The water is even clearer than Nacpan, and the vibe is way more relaxing. We loved it so much that we came back for a second day. The beach beds are free, the sand is soft and silky, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you ever get hungry. Everything just feels calm and comforting — the perfect place to unwind. If you’re after a chill beach day, I’d pick this over Nacpan or Vanilla any time. Pro tip: Check Flightradar while you’re here — watching planes arrive and depart from Lio while relaxing by the beach is surprisingly cool!

It is simply beautiful and quiet. You could not ask more from a beach. Crowd is just enough, no one rowdy and you can get photos like mine easily without needing to wake up too early or go at weird hours. The sand is not super fine but my standard for that is pretty high. The water is clear, and you don’t know it but it just a few meters ahead of you people can go swimming.

Lio Beach should be considered a national treasure with a stunning sandy beach running from coastal jungle to jungle hills. The jetty in the middle of the beach is a great landmark and helps tie it all together. The local bars and vendors are all beach themed and it's a great vibe overall. Well worth a trip if you're in the area. Almost feels like something out of pirates of the Caribbean

the best beach in el nido! by far! everything is free: showers, sunbeds, parking. you can rent a surf board for 500php, the conditions for surfing are ideal! there’s fun, big waves. an area for surfers is separated from normal swimmers by buoys. there’s also planes and helicopters landing and taking off right next to the beach about once an hour. a lot of food options, but I found it quite expensive. free wifi didn’t work.

This beach is very easy to get to. I love the fact that it has restaurants and accommodations near by. And it’s such a beautiful site seeing the airplanes landing and taking off. I can say, it wasn’t too loud. I never noticed the airport was that close until I saw the planes landing. Unfortunately it started raining while we were there but it doesn’t take away from the beauty. We stayed in the water even while it rained. The only downside was people were letting their dogs poop and not pick it up. Which is unfortunate bc people were laying in the area the dog pooped. They didn’t notice it at the time until the wind blew 🤣

Lio Beach in El Nido is a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect to relax away from the crowds. The beach is clean and spacious, surrounded by beautiful nature and has lots of amazing food and drink spots- the oysters are incredible! There are also free chairs and umbrellas it’s first come first serve which i really liked as a lot of places you pay. Beautiful swimming and sunset spot and not too far to drive from the town! Definitely recommend
