Came on Friday in June. Weather is very hot. The place is about 5-10min walk from Humber Administration Garden and is also less crowded., but is still crowded. Scenery is nice and great for taking pictures. Many local dress in traditional costume and getting photo shots here. Outside of the garden are many shops selling souvenirs and restaurants.

Visiting Lion Grove Garden was a fascinating experience, thanks to the stories shared by our guide. This garden was once the private estate of the wealthiest family in the region, and every detail reflects their status. The architecture is meticulously designed, with each house and hall arranged according to rank and purpose. There are distinct spaces for welcoming guests and separate areas for men and women, showcasing traditional Chinese living customs. What impressed me most were the thoughtfully arranged green spaces and the beautifully crafted windows. Each window frame felt like a living painting, offering stunning views of the garden. The tea-drinking areas, scenic sitting spots, and the serene ponds created a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and appreciation of nature. The garden’s unique rock sculptures, especially the lion-shaped stones, are particularly interesting. They add character and history to the space, making it stand out among other classical gardens. However, the garden was very crowded during my visit. It was challenging to enjoy the views peacefully, as we had to move quickly to keep up with the tour and make room for other groups. Despite the crowds, Lion Grove Garden is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, architecture, and nature. It’s a beautiful reminder of the luxurious and artistic lifestyle of ancient China.

Lion Grove Garden is a masterpiece of traditional Chinese garden design. Its intricate rock formations, winding paths, and elegant pavilions create a sense of wonder and discovery. The garden's unique layout feels like a natural labyrinth, perfect for leisurely exploration. Tip: Visit early in the morning to enjoy the peaceful ambiance before the crowds arrive.

Beautiful Amazing garden. Slow down, try to enjoy the view through every window. They have their own unique beauty. The bamboo plants are my favourite. I love the stone path. If you look really close, you will find there are bats on the stone, in Chinese, bats had the similar pronunciation like Fu, which means blessing, good fortune.

Must visit, you can buy tickets directly at the entrance using Alipay or WeChat. Consider to spend at least 3 hours here, there is also a coffee shop with a view on the garden in case you want to relax a bit.

Great place to visit to see how the rich lived it up in the past. I easily spent at least two hours viewing all the open rooms. Well worth the visit for first timers.

It's incredibly beautiful here. The stones are like a rocky maze and there is so much to see since it is a really big garden. There are lots of people here since it's a popular tourist attraction and only cost 40¥ to come in.
