Lion Lodge

If you're looking for a peaceful place away from the city and close to nature, this is the spot for you. It's located near Sigiriya Lion's Rock. They served us a delicious breakfast. The bed was acceptable, but the only cover provided was a thin sheet. Additionally, the air conditioning was quite noisy, even though it was on sleep mode. There was also a party or caravan in the area on our first night, which was beyond their control. The bathroom was clean, but the bidet and hanging rods need replacing as they are rusty. I ordered two bottled waters during the night, not expecting them to be chargeable. As anticipated, we were charged a higher conversion rate, so I recommend paying in the currency used during booking to avoid paying more.

A truly wonderful place to stay. Ajith, his wife, and the entire family welcome every guest with heartfelt warmth and genuine care. Hospitality and attentiveness are their top priorities. The rooms are impeccably clean, the bed spacious and incredibly comfortable. Our apartment even featured air conditioning, ensuring a perfect stay. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning—an unforgettable delight. The highlight? The coconut-flake pancakes, simply divine. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to all the key spots. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a home away from home.

Sigiri Hostel - Great place to stay in Sigiriya. Close to the Main Street but immersed in the Sri Lankan jungle. Cossy and comfortable rooms with spacious clean bathrooms. Nice owner and great breakfast and views

Very respectable and pleasant place to stay in Sigiriya, close to the famous rock and local restaurants. The guesthouse is beautifully laid out, with several rooms up and downstairs. ||The owners are very kind and helpful - and Ajith was kind enough to bring me and some other guests to the Lion Rock entrance in his tuk tuk early in the morning, and also arranged a number of additional tours.. He was also very helpful at providing travel advice. ||The included breakfast was decent, if not spectacular. My room was comfortable with ac and a fan, although the shower was a bit temperamental. ||Ovel a decent stay for a couple of nights in Sigiriya.

Very clean hotel. Rooms are equipped with everything you need. The very kind and helpfull owner family makes it a real home away from home. Planned to stay 3 nights, stayed finally 6 nights.

The staff was amazing! The owner always had a big smile on his face and helped us a ton with the organization of our excursions. The room has plenty of comforts starting from AC to the mosquito nest. The place had very nice common areas to chill around. The breakfast was also really good and the location of the homestay is very close to the main attractions. There are also two very good restaurants close to the lodge. Great vibe and very nice people!! Would recommend 100%

Book here, you won't be sorry ! The hosts will arrange for you Tuk Tuk to visit the attractions as well as give you advice. Close to the shops and restaurants. Excellent rate that includes a breakfast. I was leaving early and was provided with a pack breakfast for my journey
