Lionel Jeep Rental

Lionel Jeep on St. John was great! Excellent communication, very friendly service and a well maintained Jeep. This will be my family’s second time to rent with them and I’ve already reserved two Jeeps for when we come back in February. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Lionel Jeep on our recent spring break trip to St. John. I appreciate how accommodating they were with our late arrival from St. Thomas. Our Jeep was spotless and reliable during our week on the island and got us everywhere we wanted to go. We also appreciate the fact that we were able to park at Lionel at no cost while in Cruz Bay for dinners. Parking is expensive in town so this was a nice perk. We highly recommend this company!

We had a great experience renting from Lionel. They picked us up at the ferry and took us to get the car. It was quick and easy. The car was great. We had a small issue pop up and the owner showed a lot of integrity which we appreciated. We've already booked with them for our next trip to STJ.

After a very bad experience with another car rental place on St John (St John Car Rental) that cancelled our reservation 4 days before arrival we chose Lionel and are so glad we did. From the time we booked our Jeep we could tell it was going to be a much better experience and it was. Upon arriving on the ferry we were picked up at the dock in the Jeep that would be ours for the week and within 2 minutes we were at the office to sign paperwork and go over everything about the vehicle. It was a fairly new Jeep and a few minutes later we were on our way. Absolutely no issues with the vehicle during the 8 days whatsoever. On our last day we arrived at the office and within a minute were being driven to the dock to catch the ferry to St Thomas. We are so glad we chose Lionel - it was approx $300 less than that other co. Win/Win.

We had only a half day to explore St. John, and Tyler from Lionel Jeep graciously accommodated us when other rental companies required multi-day bookings. His professionalism and demeanor is a welcomed comfort to visitors, while his advice and recommendations for trip planning were spot on. The Wrangler you get might not be the newest latest model, but it will readily handle the surprisingly rugged terrain and narrow switchback roads that St. John has to offer. We highly recommend this company!

I had a great experience with Lionel Jeep Rental. We rented what seemed like a brand new jeep for a week at on St John which was a life saver. You definitely need a car if you want to really explore the island. Tyler was a legend- he was super communicative and helped us out when we had to make some changes to our reservation. If we had any issues or questions he was super fast to respond. They were also very flexible with us because we were arriving late after they normally close. We will be back and we will definitely be using Lionel Jeep Rentals when we do.

I had a great experience renting from Lionel Jeep Rental. They truly went out of their way to make sure that we were happy and taken care of. In our case, we had to return the Jeep at 6:30 AM to catch a ferry. Even though this was well outside of their normal working hours, the staff made sure that someone was there to assist us in turning the car in and taking me to the ferry, as rain was in the forecast. I'd definitely rent from them again.

Great experience with Catherine and Tylor. We have just rented a car with them for 8 days: perfect, new and very efficient. I thank them again for their courtesy, availability and Catherine’s suggestions about the weather. I was obliged to run away a day before and they refunded me !!! Very honest and correct. I suggest them for renting in St John !!!
