We got a reliable and clean jeep for a good price from them. It was a little older, repainted model, but it ran well and was clean. All the systems worked (including the AC!)! No complaints! They also let you park there if you want to visit the shops in town for free so that’s very convenient than trying to find or pay for parking. During the return, they gave us a ride back to the ferry. Great service and would use again!

We had the smoothest experience with Lionel. They were ready and waiting to pick us up at the port. Once we arrived back at the shop, we were in and out within 15 minutes. The jeep was older but worked well and was a great value, much cheaper than the other quotes we got. Drop off was just as easy. Simply returned it to the shop and got a ride back to town for breakfast. We will definitely rent again from Lionel.

Highly recommend Lionel Jeep rental! They were wonderful. We were picked up from the ferry, driven to Lionel and off we went. The same for reverse, they drove us back to the ferry. Very reliable, responsive when contacted. They even came in early to accommodate us.

My wife, 3 young children and I rented a Jeep from Lionel. The tires were nearly bald, which is very dangerous on the steep, winding, roads of St John. We went to Trunk Bay on our last morning at St Johns. The car was supposed to be returned by 10 AM, but I told them I was going to be late by a couple hours but would pay the late fee. The owner went to the police station at 10 AM, reported the car as "hijacked," and the police threatened to take the vehicle and leave us stranded at the beach unless we immediately drove to the police station, ending what had otherwise been a wonderful trip to St Johns. Normally I like supporting small mom and pop businesses, but this one you should avoid like the Plague.

Lionel Jeep Rental made our check in and check out process a breeze, despite our late arrival to St. John. Catherine answered all of our questions and even helped to facilitate a passport rescue mission when it was forgotten in the rental after drop off. The Jeep we rented reliably climbed all the peaks and conquered all the tight hair pin turns of the island, even without the 4WD. Thank you Lionel Jeep, see you again!

Jeep was ok, service no issues helped us with parking ...absolutely no issues. Even dropped us off at our hotel when requested.

Horrible service, avoid at all cost. Will claim you scratched the car when it was already scratched. Take you to court. Just stay away. Disgusting!

Avoid this place if you can!! While rates are comparable to other places in Cruz Bay, we got a pretty junky jeep and got stuck with a SEVENTY FIVE dollar charge for a broken plastic license plate frame which was already broken when we got it. Disclaimer: we noticed it when we got back to the Airbnb and we should have documented it but didn't. But 75 bucks for a plastic frame...come on... I read another reviewer that claimed they also had Lionel try to charge them for something that was already broken. So renters beware!! This will end up costing more than you bargained for.

This business took advantage of me and used every outlet to charge me as much as possible when I returned the Jeep.

Rented a Jeep 4 door last fall and was very satisfied. Good price on a nice vehicle and no problems at all. Plan to use again.
