Lionsback Resort

We stayed three nights at Lionsback Resort with friends and absolutely loved it. When we saw suites in town going for around $800 a night, splitting a stunning 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath single-level home here was a no-brainer. The setting is incredible — perched high on a hill just two miles from town with magnificent views in every direction. Even though the resort is still under construction, we never heard a bit of noise. The only sounds were the weekend dune buggies in the distance, which just added to the Moab vibe. The homes are beautifully built with sleek concrete and contemporary design touches. While it’s a 3-bedroom, it’s really perfect for two couples with dual master suites — any more might feel a little tight. There’s no pool yet, but we were there for Arches and Dead Horse Point, so it didn’t matter. And whenever small issues popped up (as with any new property), Brooke, the GM, handled them immediately and professionally. We’d absolutely stay here again. Quiet, scenic, comfortable, and beautifully designed — a perfect Moab escape just outside the bustle of town.

Our stay at Lionsback Resort in Moab was absolutely outstanding. The location is unbeatable surrounded by red rock views and desert beauty, yet just minutes from downtown. The villa was modern, spotless, and beautifully designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows that made the scenery feel like part of the room. The staff went above and beyond, offering warm, attentive service that made us feel truly cared for. Every detail from the design and cleanliness to the peaceful setting was exceptional. Waking up to those views each morning was unforgettable. Five stars all around we can’t wait to return.

Absolutely love the Casitas at Lionsback Resort! Spent a long weekend with another couple and the Casita La were the perfect fit for together and separate time. The luxury finishing touches like vapor fireplace, T&G ceilings, oversized garage, hot tub and wet room made the stay perfect. Just can’t get that direct view of the Moab fins anywhere else. Brook the GM was amazing and super helpful with anything we needed! Can’t wait to be back there again!

Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches that made it feel special. The staff went above and beyond—warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. We spent our days exploring Arches and Canyonlands, then came back to relax by the hot tub and enjoy stargazing under the clearest night sky imaginable. Spent a long weekend with another couple and had the most amazing stay at Lionsback. The Casita was perfect for together and apart time. The luxury touches of vapor fireplace, hardwood floors, T&G ceilings, wet room, all en-suite secondary bedrooms, over sized garage, fully loaded kitchen made the experience perfect. Ride-in/Ride-out from the home direct to SlickRock and Hells Revenge unbelievable. Haven’t had that before in Moab. Brooke the GM was amazing and was there from the check-in layout and to help with any question. Can’t wait to get back!

Hi, my husband and i rented a one of the Casita and received a warm welcome from Damion and was a delight and very informative about the unit .We had our friends over for dinner. The unit was great and very luxurious, with amazing views of both sunrise and sunset . We also took advantage of the hot tub which was the best way to relax. We stayed in unit 131 which was a larger unit with three beautifull master bedrooms.
