Liquid Courage

I really liked this bar. At first I was skeptical because I’ve been to a bar like this before where you can tell the bar tender what you want that’s not off the menu and they make it for you. I’ve gotten some very wacky things before. However my friends and I ordered two rounds and both rounds and all drinks hit home. I was surprised that they had flavours like pandan and ube. My other friend gave them the flavour profile of “sweet and creamy” and she got a creamy lemon drink and it was great. One of my friends gave a prompt that was “curry” and his drink actually came with curry and a smoky taste. Overall I was quite impressed with this place. We had a great time and some really good drinks!

Alex and Ahmed are incredibly knowledgeable bartenders. Absolutely true masters behind the bar! Their dealer’s choice cocktails were perfectly crafted, creative, and exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. Will was also a standout server. He was fun, sassy, and so personable. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Between the amazing drinks and the outstanding service, this spot is an absolute gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Went here with my friends after dinner nearby. Was a wonderful little hidden spot with fun drinks enjoyed by all. I wish the prices were a little bit lower but other than that I really enjoyed Liquid Courage. Definitely worth checking out!

Great music, amazing food, delicious drinks me and my friends had the pork soup dumplings which were mind blowing. Also the cinnamon horchata espresso martinis were really good!! the employees were playing a great mix of music- Anderson paak, frank ocean, mac miller to name a few. The place had a cool interior design. Only critique I have is that it’s a bit difficult to find on google maps (it’s located below Mother Tongue) and I wish there was better lighting in the restrooms- it was a bit dark in there and I had to use my phone flashlight to reapply my lipstick. We had a great time and I will be returning!

Lovely bar below with delicious drinks! The vibes are great, loved sitting at the bar. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and helpful to make you a drink you're sure to enjoy! Their gin cocktail menu is great. Great menu, we will be back!

Absolute best. Fantastic cocktails, savvy bartenders. Order from the menu or chat with the bartender for a minute and let them create something exceptional for you. Top of my list right now for cocktail bars in the city.

Top tier cocktails! We had several dealer's choice and all were perfect. Quite possibly the best cocktail bar I've been to, and the eclectic music list was really fabulous as well. Highly recommend all around.

I went here to try some drinks i saw on the google menu, but they did not have that menu at all. However, they had an option where they curate whatever you want based on the notes you like and spirit you prefer. And the drink comes as a surprise. Honestly, mine was Amazing!! Also, we went for drinks but their food was so top notch!! The wagyu boas and mapo tofu is a must try!!

Such a vibey and awesome speak easy! we went on a late sunday night so it was just my group of 4 and another party of 2 under the roof which felt like we had the place to ourselves. our bartender was so knowledgeable with mixing drinks and knew what we wanted. we ordered one round of drinks and then requested for a drink of our taste by letting the bartender know what we were looking for and i'm just going to say... he delivered. we were craving an ube sour from a picture that my friend had showed me and wanted to see if he can craft it. it's been over a week since coming here and i still think about this drink. i don't think any other place can perfect this specific one.

Well I just love speakeasies so this satisfied my itch. As far as speakeasies go, this one is actually on the upper end of difficult to find which makes it even cooler. You have to go in through the restaurant. Walk straight to the back and go downstairs. Absolutely no signage Outside to tell you that. Unfortunately I could only have one cocktail when I went but it was fantastic. It's a cool dimly lit vibe. Not too loud, but not so quiet that you're just listening to your thoughts. Exceptional place for a date night or a bougie night of enjoying your own company with a book. I would definitely visit again.

Had the pleasure of being served by Tuna at Liquid Courage and I can confidently say he's one of the best bartenders I've ever come across. His service was exceptional from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. What really stood out was his artistry behind the bar, each cocktail crafted with precision, creativity, and flair. Tuna doesn't just serve drinks, he elevates the whole experience. If you're at Liquid Courage, ask for him--you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous space with great service and delicious drinks. Their daily 6-8pm $12 gin cocktail specials are an absolute bargain-I'd be here every day if I lived here! Lively atmosphere and always fun hitting up a secret speakeasy.

Cozy little speakeasy at the bottom of Mother Tongue after a night out for dinner. Service was quick and prompt. Drinks were good. I had an old fashioned (a bit on bitter side) and my partner had the malbec (nice and dry). Looks like they have decently priced cocktails ($12) from 6 to 8pm on the weekdays.

Best cocktail I have ever experienced. The bartending expertise was surprisingly unsurpassed.
