Liquid Shoes Brewing

While visiting Corning last year to check out the Glass Museum, we stopped by Liquid Shoes Brewing for a drink—and we’re so glad we did! I tried the Raspberry Cream Ale with whipped cream, and it was absolutely fantastic! The vibe was great, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service friendly. We’re already looking forward to stopping in again during our next visit!

Came in for a few beers. The Orange Cream Whip they have on Nitro is great! Also loved the Gnome magnets; that instantly became a must-buy for me. Nice place with good vibes.

Small place, but very cool inside and location in downtown Corning. Parking out back. Limited beers-5- on tap. But good beers. Enjoyed the experience. Definitely worth a stop. Very nice employee who was very accommodating to our group of 6.

Stopped here for a Christmas Eve drink. Great selection of beers, seltzers and Finger Lakes wines! Staff was welcoming and friendly! Would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Corning!!

Visiting downtown Corning and my son and wife like to stop in for a beer or wine. They feature some local beers or wine. The beer selection has IPAs, Sours, and hard Seltzers.

Loved that they had an unflavored seltzer on tap and seasonal syrups to make a fun drink! Sitting here with the big windows open was such a nice afternoon

What a fun place! Really adventurous flavors. We got a fruit (strawberry, pineapple, coconut) sour, a peach wheat ale, and a blueberry seltzer. All were very good!

Great brewery on Market street - maybe even a micro brewery? Their beer is only sold on premises... they had some delicious collaborations on tap as well Bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable Space is upscale brewery chic ... space was a bank at one point and the womens room is the old vault- original floor still intact

Great spot for people-watching and local beer. Cozy and warmly lit. Even though I'm a Guinness girl, I took the server's recommendation and got a strawberry beer with whip on top. The boyfriend got a brown ale (just in case hehe). We also got a meat cheese cracker board. It came with crackers, pepperoncini, pickled jalapeños, horseradish cheese, chive cheese, everything bagel cheese, pepperoni salami, and black pepper Genoa salami. Perfect!

Stopped in on a quick visit before dinner. The place was pretty cool. Enormous bar, comfortable seats, easy to read menu offerings, and the bartender (who might have been the owner/brewer) was super nice. Tried two beers, both were good. Unfortunately no cans to go at the moment. Worth stopping in for a drink.

I travel a lot and visit many breweries along my path. With the Covid BS it has been 2 years since I drank their Big Abes Brown Ale and it is better than I remember. I normally do not drink IPA's but the IPA that Christina recommended was very good. My double IPA son would even enjoy it. I will back this way in a month or two and certainly drop in again. Mike

Went there last night (5/20/23...Friday night) with a group of coworkers and the bartender was Very unfriendly! The bartender acted like we were annoying him...I cannot understand why a business owner would have someone like that tending bar!!! In this economy, making paying customers feel like their an annoyance instead of feeling welcome is not good business. It's a bar with live music and everyone is out to have fun its not a funeral home! Will most likely not return as a result!!

Spent the morning at the glass museum and this was a perfect place for a group of ladies to quench our thirst before a meal. Had a seat by the huge open windows which let in a cooling breeze. Other patrons had their dogs with them who were well behaved. I know nothing about craft beers but the very friendly bar keep let us sample a few to help us choose our drinks. Enjoyed this visit and would return again.

July 20, 2018, Friday - 1:45 for a drink 2 adults Atmosphere - 5 stars Drink - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - Were on the street last night for dinner and spotted this place, and it was packed. So we came back after lunch for a beer. Atmosphere - Such a tiny place. Original brick is exposed on the tap sides of the bar. A little steam punk with valves and knobs on the lights, but they did not overdo it. I asked and found out that they are a 3 barrel system, tiny! Drinks - I had the Kung Fu Bicycle which was a lush NE IPA. I could drink that all day. Because they are a 3 barrel system the beer taps will be changing on a regular basis. Service - I was surprised by the number of people in place. Our bartender was friendly and answered our questions in a polite manner.. Future - Yes please.

Outstanding service, high quality beer, just a great place to be! Even short staffed, the bar tender was tapping kegs, cleaning the bar, all while focusing on customer service - !

Very cute brewery. The owners were very welcoming and the beer was great! They have 5 oz and 10 oz beer and quite a few different options on tap. Highly recommend stopping in on your next visit to Corning!

My boyfriend and I took a day trip to Corning from the mountains in PA. We were walking around town and came upon this cute little brewery and knew we had to check it out! The ambience was great with a small bar and some high top seating. We both ordered beers and a cheese board. Everything was amazing! I wish I lived closer so I could try the new beers on a regular basis. This place is doing it right and you should totally check them out!

Essential to stop in, especially after visiting the extraordinary museum of glass. Right now they have 6 beers on tap, when they usually have 10. We loved talking to one of the owners, who was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu. I adored the sour beer they had- the bittersweet apocalypse. I can't wait for this to hit local markets, I wish got a growler to take home. It was the perfect sour beer, not too acidic and it actually tasted like beer. A second favorite was their stout, which had a great coffee/chocolate flavor. I was impressed with their mistletoe IPA, which was very approachable (I usually don't like IPAs so I was a but hesitant to try). I recommend trying 5oz glasses of the great variety they have!!

This place is phenomenal! The large open window is a delight in the summer months. Because the crowd is mellow and casual, it's a good place to enjoy craft brews (with amusing names) and small/snack plates with good music and friends. A large open space run by a family with a sense of humor and brewing expertise. Can't wait to return.

This is a cute brewery. There was one couple sitting at the bar. The staff wasn't super welcoming for not being busy. They serve only 5 ounce and 10 ounce pours, which I've never encountered at any other brewery. The beers were good. We went to another brewery and felt extremely welcomed.

To start the beer is just OK, and the bar-tenders aren't very knowledgeable about the selection, which is the primary reason I will not be back. But also, and maybe it's just not my scene so I just don't get it, however, I've been here a few times now, it's always WAY over crowded, there's never anywhere to sit, the live music is always cranked up too loud for such a small space, and the people all seem as though they feel they're the 'in-crowd'.

beers were great, atmosphere was fantastic and the owners were very friendly. Exactly what I'm looking for when going to a brewery. Taste great brews and have friendly conversations. Highly recommend liquid shoes brewing.

Came to Corning to visit extended family, luckily stumbled across this gem. Liquid Shoes brews up some very high quality beers, in house, and serves them in the best way, ice cold and fresh with a smile. The establishment has a classy atmosphere, the drinks are very reasonably priced, and is filled with friendly locals. I highly recommend stopping by and getting a flight sample of their beers and cider. You won't be let down.

Great atmosphere, love the open air front. Had some beers and a meat and cheese platter. We came here after reading other reviews and glad me did.

The blonde ale is great. Ambience is relaxed yet modern. The bartender had a fun personality. Glad that corning has a brewery like this! Will be back to try out more brews.

Carded me and my girlfriend I have been 21 for over a year she only has for a couple of months and they served her with same liscense as mine but wouldn't serve me because it still said 21 until unreal
