An excellent example of a great gallery. Every exhibition I've been to has been stellar, not only the art but the installation and knowledgeable staff. Always super friendly.

Been to this gallery a few times and in addition to the art, Lisa Sette is always there to chat about anything and everything. She's warm, welcoming, personable, knowledgeable and very cool. Always conversation pieces, the art is great. The picture shown is by Ben Durham and is a graphite drawing of words (must be seen close up) on homemade paper. Fabulous. Lisa educated us about it. Always a great experience.

Fabulous art gallery, the customer service was excellent, I appreciate that they show a variety of different types of artists and it’s a quiet but really cute location.

Modern style gallery. Extraordinary piece of architecture. Wish there was background music at the show.

Every time I visit this gallery I'm inspired by the great variety of artwork. The gallery shows thought provoking modern photography, mixed media pieces (this hardly describes them) and sculptures. The staff here is absolutely wonderful and can converse in depth about the artists and pieces on display. Lisa and the team have impeccable taste.

Best gallery and artists in Arizona, hands down(and has been for years). Lisa Sette is an Arizona icon that represents the hottest new and established artists locally and beyond. Thanks for all of the years of hard work Lisa, it's an honor to know you! p.s. (do yourself a favor and check out Mayme Kratz exhibit in March 2023, they must be seen in person to appreciate their beauty!)

It was my first time at Lisa Sette today. What a hidden gem! I loved the exhibit and the staff were very friendly. I'm excited to see who or what they'll feature next.

Yelp
I have been a passionate art collector fo 37 years with a focus on contempory over the past 16 years. Upon moving to Arizona in 2015, I was told by everyone that Lisa Sette Gallery is the finest in Arizona. After working with Lisa and Sam on over seven acquisitions since that time, I can safely say that I 100% agree. Lisa is smart, passionate and fully connected to her artists and her clients. In a short period of time, she has not just become my go-to for art here, but she's also become a good friend. For anyone passionate about art, and architecture (as she space is in an Al Beadle building), I highly highly recommend Lisa Sette Gallery.

Yelp
I am consistently mesmerized by the artists and works that the Lisa Sette Gallery exhibits in their gorgeous venue. I am always intrigued and delighted with the exhibitions. I recently called to make an appointment to see some work that I'd seen on their Instagram & website. They were very accommodating with making an appointment. The piece was even more stunning in person. Working with Samantha, Ashley, and Lisa has always been, by far, the most enjoyable, informative, meetings I've experienced with a studio/gallery. I'm very appreciative of the attention to detail and amazing communication I've had with them. Phoenix is VERY LUCKY to have the calibre of talent that Lisa Sette brings to Arizona.

Yelp
I have had only incredible experiences working with the Lisa Sette Gallery. As a young collector, only just starting out, it has been inspiring to see the incredible artists the gallery represents, and to learn more about the remarkable art and exhibitions they curate. I truly appreciate the personal touch they have brought me as well, "holding my hand," as it were, and exposing me to new artists and pieces that are within reach for me and my collection! Admittedly I've become a huge fan of Mayme Kratz and I'm always thrilled to see the new work that comes into the gallery. Their space, the architecture, the location, and the collections are all brilliant. I'm a fan and new lifelong friend, whether they like it or not!

Yelp
This has to be the premiere Arizona gallery of contemporary art, one that can be counted on to present challenging and beautifully installed exhibitions in diverse media by local, national and international artists. I've always found the staff to be welcoming and eager to talk about the artwork. Near the Phoenix Art Museum, it's really worth the effort to seek out.

Yelp
A few years ago I wrote a review recommending Lisa Sette Gallery as one of the best in Scottsdale...now I must revise that to read the best in PHOENIX! LSG recently moved to midtown Phoenix, to an amazing building designed by Al Beadle. Go if only to see the new space, which is broad and low-lying and wrapped in a massive scrim of white fabric that reflects the bright light of the Phoenix sun. Plus, now there's parking! Inside, the space is bigger and better than the Scottsdale location but still a cool, clean, locally-owned gallery and a bastion of sophistication in the desert. I love the way Sette selects her artists among both wunderkind grad students and art-scene luminaries from all over the world. I love how, when interviewed about the move, Sette seemed almost as excited by the bigger kitchen as she did about the incredible new building. The gallery's been in operation for over 25 years, and it's clear Sette knows what she's doing; whether in the dry summer months or in season, LSG can be relied upon to fascinate and enchant. I'm always impressed by how so much of the work I see here can be both exquisitely lovely and, simultaneously, challenging and new. Gallery artists are both established names and emerging stars, and they come from all over (including a healthy representation of contemporary artists working in the Southern Hemisphere). Whether exhibiting local or international artists, somehow Sette always manages to strike the right aesthetic balance, so if you're in the area it's always worth checking out what's on show. It helps, of course, that the gallery staff is competent and personable. In addition to painting/sculpture/installation, Sette represents a remarkable roster of photographers--If you want to check out the photographs documenting James Turell's massive Roden Crater project in northern Arizona, Sette is the place to go. Ditto if you're in the market for some Starn brothers. Or, even, you know, if you want a good recommendation for a local restaurant.

Yelp
For some reason my review did not transfer with the new location, but I just love this little gallery too much not to share. This beloved gallery has left the sea of Southwest in Old Town Scottsdale for their new, incredibly hip Midtown digs. Can I just say, I am obsessed? Building designed by Al Beadle. Super cool branding with the new "Hello, Midtown" logo in the entry. Soft light from high windows. It's a great space. I went to the opening and fell in love with a few photos that, coincidentally were also the most affordable thing in the place. Yay, me! I have decided, I haven't made it until I've purchased art from the Lisa Sette Gallery. It's gonna happen one of these days!
