Lisbon Earthquake 1755

I quite like the history part of the experience. I wish the last two rooms will elaborate more on that. The setup is interesting and engaging most of the time. The science of earthquake part is a bit dry and really could be more interactive. Some equipment aren't working. Is it worth the ticket? Maybe 80% for me.

We had a wonderful experience at Quake! Visitors relive the entire experience of the devastating earthquake that struck Lisbon in 1755. It’s a very well-organized place, somewhat reminiscent of an escape room, ideal for all ages. The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. Definitely worth a visit! Available languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French. Advance booking is highly recommended, as you enter in specific groups.

Very well laid out museum, one of the better best set ups I've seen that really explains Portugals history and the earthquake that caused the re-build of the city. Multiple guided rooms and plenty of interactive features to keep you occupied. The earthquake simulator room is the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend if visiting Lisbon.

The museum is designed in a very engaging way, with complete immersion. It was interesting from start to finish. Now I truly understand what happened in the past, and I feel prepared, even morally, for the future. Everything is well-organized. I recommend buying tickets in advance.

A powerful and moving exhibition that brings history to life. It tells the story of one of the most significant events in Lisbon’s past in an engaging and informative way. Easy to access, no wait time, and very well presented, both educational and emotional. Highly recommended if you want to understand the city’s resilience and history.

It is hands down the best muséum I’ve ever been to. The staff was kind, orderly and efficient. The experience well worth the €25 you pay. Seriously, complete my in love with this muséum.

Very informative and interactive. It was an incredible experience to witness and feel what it was like during the earthquake and tsunami from a first-person perspective. The scenes were truly striking. My children also learned a lot from the visit. The museum is thoughtfully designed to convey its message clearly, making it a fantastic educational place for children.

Had the best time in this. Very creative to weave the museum experience in a style of a panic/escape room without all the stress but with all the info. It is an interactive, multi-media experience. Absolutely recommended.
