Lismore Gateway Motel

We stayed at Lismore Gateway Motel over the New Year period and honestly couldn’t fault it. The staff at were so fun, engaged and helpful, which made everything really easy and welcoming. The motel has been completely rebuilt after the Lismore floods and it looks amazing. Everything is new, bright and fresh! The renovation is really well done. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were great, everything everywhere clean and spotless and the pool and gardens were a real highlight - such a nice space to relax. Was such an enjoyable stay - Highly recommend!

My work colleague and I have been doing FIFO work for the local council. We've tried multiple accommodation options whilst staying in Lismore and the Gateway Motel is simply the best. The owners and staff take pride in the motel and it really shows. The pool is always immaculate. The rooms are spotless. The fridges are restocked with Timtams, water and milk. Coffee is topped up. Communal kitchen and laundry is always clean and the modern appliances are just a perfect touch. We had a breakdown with our work vehicle our first trip up and had to check in after hours. The staff were more then accommodating with assisting us. Its really hard to find quality affordable accommodation especially with lovely staff. Credit to the owners. We won't stay anywhere else in Lismore.

My Mum and I recently stayed at the Lismore Gateway Motel for two nights over the weekend. We truly cannot fault our stay - John at reception was incredibly kind and helpful, our room was large and clean and the beds very comfortable, and despite being situated on a main road we didn’t hear a thing overnight. There were lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within an easy 10 minute walk. While we didn’t have time to use the other facilities; the pool and sun lounges looked amazing! The gardens and grasses area were also beautiful. Overall I cannot recommend this motel enough!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Recently Refurbished to a beautiful clean fresh and modern standard helps to give this place a wonderful feel. I was genuinely surprised how lovely my stay was large rooms simply and tastefully decorated.bright and airy with a coastal vibe. Lush SOFT towels! 🙂 Decent fridge in rooms and large cups for a perfect cup of tea in the morning. Bed was lovely and firm with good pillows. Yes it's beside a road and there is road noise but it is a motel!! And noise stopped between 9pm and 7 so this wasn't an issue at all. Lush tropical gardens well maintained and a superb looking pool! Will bring swimmers next time. All in all - if you're in Lismore - highly recommended.

The newly refurbished Gateway was fantastic. I had stayed there right before the floods and had always promised to go back as the staff were so lovely and accommodating back them and when we returned, it was so much better! The facilities were exactly what we needed for our cricket team staying there together. I will definitely recommend for the future teams to stay there during the annual cricket tournament.

After arriving in Lismore mid to late afternoon we drove around in the city centre looking for accomodation for the night but wern't impressed with what we saw until we chanced on the Gateway Motel. Unfortunately being a public holiday the office was closed however a sign on the window gave a contact phone number which was promptly answered in a friendly manner and within minutes the office was opened and we were booked in for the night. We were pleasently supprised with the refurbished room and the quality of the linnen supplied. The queen size bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Water pressure in the shower was great as was the availablity of all facilities. We would highly recommend the Lismore Gateway Motel and would not hesitate to stay there again if we were in the area.

A frequent traveller each year to Lismore on business, this was my first time at the Lismore Gatway Motel and I have to say, I was very impressed and exceeded all expectations. From beautifully clean rooms which had all the facilities, fully stocked kitchen, pool and other facilities, I couldn't recommended more highly! fantastic! I will be back 👍

Beautifully redesigned motel with contemporary fit out. Felt so welcoming and comfortable. Thoughtful touches with a few supplies in the fridge. Gym was brand new, small but excellent, though would have been better to have swipe card access rather than needing to call out of hours to open.
