Lismore Wilson Motel

I booked here last minute and they were able to accommodate me very well. I also had to add a nights stay and they made it happen with no fuss. The room was immaculate and very clean, which I appreciate when away from home. The woman who works the front desk and is the owner was incredibly polite and professional. I loved my stay here.

This was a great location and really handy for everything we needed on our holiday. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the staff were super friendly and always happy to help. They made us feel welcome from the start, and were great with local tips. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying or passing through the area.

Stayed at the Wilson Motel over the New Year long weekend and could not have been happier with the experience. The location is excellent, with plenty of local conveniences close by. It is just around the corner from the Workers Club, Aldi is only a couple of hundred metres down the road, and there is a service station directly across the road that sells a good range of ready made meals and fresh cut sandwiches. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was a bother and everything was handled with genuine warmth and ease. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. Perfect for a weekend away. The air conditioning worked exactly as it should, which made all the difference over a hot summer break. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My wife and I stayed at the Wilson motel in Lismore just recently when travelling to see some elderly relatives. We also stayed there just after Christmas 12 months ago. On both occasions we found the Wilson to be a delightful sojourn. The Wilson is set on a sloping block and the rooms step up the block and with the garden foliage all around, it presents as an oasis in a forest. What I find important is that the room be “homey”. It must present as inviting and comfortable. Our room did just that. It was quite large and it was clean! Quite a lot of other motels are not. The bathroom was generous in space and the shower was also spacious. And clean as well? The staff are friendly and the next time I go to Lismore the Wilson motel will be my first call.

Convenient location, Friendly staff. The room was well air conditioned, the spa was great, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space and things to utilise in the room. It was a nice touch for there to be a toaster, coffee pod machine as well as the kettle, microwave and fridge. It is also conveniently located close to takeaway shops and grocery stores.

We stayed here for a quick overnighter on our way to Sydney with the kids and it was perfect. The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with and incredibly accommodating. We didn’t get in until after dark and they still made sure we were sorted for dinner, which we really appreciated. The room was spot on – comfy beds, very clean bathroom and shower, and just a really humble, welcoming vibe. Great little place for a stopover and we’d definitely recommend it.

I had a medical emergency and needed to downsize our stay . The absolute lovely people here fully refunded my original purchase 1 day out from arrival and rebooked me with a smaller room. I was beyond greatful. The room was great and very clean and tidy. Central to everything I needed, servo across road was amazing, plenty of close by food stores. I highly recommend. I will be back .

We stay at the Wilson on 23 Nov for one night from the time I contact Rita at this hotel nothing was a problem she was very helpful. We stayed in the family room which is spacious and the beds are comfortable and good hot water in the shower. The location is close to the Workers Club and is an easy walk. Would definitely stay here again. Thank Rita and Team
