Lismore Wilson Motel

We stayed here for a quick overnighter on our way to Sydney with the kids and it was perfect. The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with and incredibly accommodating. We didn’t get in until after dark and they still made sure we were sorted for dinner, which we really appreciated. The room was spot on – comfy beds, very clean bathroom and shower, and just a really humble, welcoming vibe. Great little place for a stopover and we’d definitely recommend it.

I had a medical emergency and needed to downsize our stay . The absolute lovely people here fully refunded my original purchase 1 day out from arrival and rebooked me with a smaller room. I was beyond greatful. The room was great and very clean and tidy. Central to everything I needed, servo across road was amazing, plenty of close by food stores. I highly recommend. I will be back .

Our group of 10 travelled to Lismore for the Master Games for a three night stay. Everything ran smoothly with the Wilson Motel from booking through to check-out. The rooms were basic, but that said, the rooms were of good size, the beds comfortable, the rooms clean and decent size TV provided. Tea and coffee, a kettle, a microwave and a toaster were nice touches. The rooms were also quiet with no obvious traffic noise. We were able to park easily on-site. All of this for a competitive price. Well done to Peter Rita and the rest of the Wilson team. We'll be back.

I stayed there for a week. Enjoyed my stay a lot. The room is clean and spacious and quiet. Facilities are great. There’s microwave, fridge, cutleries and plates in the room. Location wise, it’s around 13min walk to CBD, there’s a aldi and some fast food in less than 5 min walk distance. The concierge is very friendly and welcoming. There’s paid washing machine and dryers on the premises which I didn’t try.

This is a lovely little place to stay and rest your head. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean. But the main stand out is the staff and owners. Thank you so much to Rita and Bruce for your kindness and understanding. I will be back soon. Thanks, Jason 😊

I had previously stayed at this motel for weeks on end working in Lismore after the floods. This place was terrible -poor housekeeping, dodgy guests bashing in doors and yelling and screaming in the early hours of the morning . Didn't feel safe at all. The lady who managed the reception was very unhelpful and the office regularly smelt of marijuana. This stay i wasn't expecting much however it was a pleasant surprise. Out with the old and in with the new. Service was outstanding. Rooms were clean and updated. Well done to the owners of this place doing a amazing job. Completely different motel to last time. Couldn't be happier.

motel easy to find, room was spacious, very clean, bed was very comfortable, included plates, cutlery, cups, glassware, so we were able to bring an evening meal back to the room. spacious bathroom, and we did not notice traffic noise. very good value for money.

No reflection on the Motel or Motel owners, but I found it hard to accept that guests and their guests had no respect for clearly marked disabled area being kept free. People do not choose to have a disability of any description. Three times I experienced this in my short stay. The motel owners are exceptionally caring , friendly and very helpful with everything you need or need to know. The location is so close to everything you could want or want to see. The surroundings are so beautiful from the table and chairs on the verandah you can watch the colourful birds going about their business and playing with one another. So relaxing and peaceful and enjoyable.
