Liteyny Hotel

Location was like almost centre , they have a supermarket just next to the building where u can buy the stuff especially coffee , there was a smoking room i was amazed to see that. No parking ( only paid ) We were late for checkout like 30 mins and the lady at reception was already screaming. ( we checked in at 6-7 in evening and checked out at 1 almost next day so yeah she could have given us some time) Better next time they repair the damn lift haahah

We loved the loft style room! Perfect if travelling with your older child, relative or friend as beds are separated and allow for privacy. Great communal kitchen and dining. Excellent coffee and tea for free. Could leave the luggage after checking out until left city. Good location as well. Scaffold around the building, coulndt ser anything from the window, weren't told after booking. Staircase and access is a building site. Room has only one light control (no separate lights to beds). Forget getting a registration and signed and stamped hotel receipt if travelling as a foreigner!

The hotel is situated close to the city centre. It takes you about 20 minutes walk (or a little bit more) to get to the main highlights. To the rest of them you can easily get by underground (there's a station close to the hotel). When you enter the building, you may be a little surprised by it's look inside. But don't be mislead by it. When you step into the hotel hall, you can feel like entering the other world. It's a small yet nice hotel, with not more than 30 rooms. The room we had was clean and in great condition. Beds were comfy. It could hots up to 4 people (two single beds and one big bed upstairs). Breakfast wasn't very "rich", but you had everything you need for a good start of your day. And, what is really nice, there is complimentary coffee, tea, fruit and some sweets in the lobby. If I'm about to go to St. Petersburg again, I'll definitely choose this hotel for my stay.

We stayed one night but were very pleased with service and hotel quality. |We arrived too early and receptionist help to keep safe our baggage while we had a long trip to Petergof. |Room was 2 levels for 4 people: on the low level was double bed, table, tv, hallway and bathroom and on the top level (the wooden attic) were 2 single beds). |Breakfast buffet was nice: ham, salami, cheese, fruits (apples and oranges), sweets, muesli, yogurt, milk, tea and coffee. More than enough for start of the day. |There are big and nice supermarket in this building. |Also we can use unlimited tea and coffee during all our stay from breakfast room (they had my favorite green tea). |Hotel is very clean and has fresh decoration. |30 minutes walk to Hermitage. |A lot of nice cafes and restaurants around this hotel. |Warning: hotel is on 4th floor of the house and lift works time to time. But all other is perfect. |We will stay there again.

We liked the price and the size of the room. Spacious and relatively clean.||||I wonder on which planet were the people who gave this hotel a superb rating on booking: Wi Fi didn't work, breakfast was not edible, it is far from every attraction on foot, the room service is sub par. Basically the room is never cleaned.The entrance is horrible and the elevator is like in horror movies.The young ladies at the front desk were mostly friendly, one of them (with a round ring in her nose) was so disagreeable, it made us hate coming to the hotel. Would not recommend or return.

the reception can speak English,and they are very nice,help us solve the problem. I can't download the "yandexgo",the reception help me call to taxi . The room is comfortable and clean,but just have one basket in room and so small... just has one basket in room

The hotel is a real gem - cosy, friendly, clean. Our kids also loved it! The room is spacious (2 floors) enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 12). The breakfast is delicious and quite enough for a good start of the day. The staff is polite, very helpful and competent - especially Ivan and Nika.||The Nevsky Prospect is around 30 min by walk. There is also a metro station very close to the hotel.||Highly recommend this wonderful place!
