I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius with my wife and her family and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. We were treated to a performance of "La Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi and were completely blown away by the talent of the performers.
The opera singers, tenors, and orchestra were all in sync and their tonality was simply amazing. The orchestral music, conducted by the Italian maestro was rich and truly added to the overall experience. The performance was truly breathtaking.
During the interim breaks, we had the opportunity to book a table with drinks, which was a nice touch. The seats were very comfortable and allowed for an enjoyable experience throughout the performance.
While the theatre itself could use a little upgrade, specifically the acoustics could be improved. The building is a historic one, with a lot of character especially the countless chandeliers hanging in the main hall. It would be great if the sound in the main theatre was a little modernised. But that being said, it did not take away from our overall experience.
All in all, my experience at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre was wonderful. The performances were top-notch and the atmosphere was truly magical. I would highly recommend visiting this theater to anyone who loves opera and ballet. It's an experience you won't soon forget.
