Little America Hotel

We’ve stayed at Little America in Flagstaff multiple times, and it continues to be our go-to. It’s a rare combination: peaceful, comfortable, and consistently well-run—without feeling pretentious. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the property feels tucked into the pines, and it’s an easy place to truly rest after a long day of travel or exploring. What keeps bringing us back is the consistency: clean, well-maintained, family-friendly, and a staff that makes check-in and everything else feel effortless. It’s also a great location—convenient to town and to day trips, but removed enough to feel like a retreat. Five stars, every time. We’ll be back again.

The lobby décor is genuinely beautiful, I loved the warm wood finishes and crystal details. It feels elegant and welcoming at first glance. The apartment-style rooms (there are only two on the property) are fine overall, but surprisingly only have one bathroom, which felt limiting for a family stay. That alone isn’t why this is a two-star review, though. What truly ruined our experience was the front desk manager on 1/17/26. His attitude and behavior were completely out of place for a hotel. From the moment we asked basic questions about hotel amenities, he treated us as though we were inconveniencing him or trying to take advantage of the property. The interaction was uncomfortable, dismissive, and honestly baffling. We’ve stayed at The Grand America in Salt Lake City and had an excellent experience, which is why we chose this property expecting a similar level of service. Unfortunately, that standard was nowhere to be found here. The manager’s lack of professionalism and apparent power trip made my family feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, which is unacceptable in hospitality, especially at this price point. Service is half the experience at a hotel like this, and one individual managed to reduce what could have been a five-star stay to well below that. Aside from this interaction, the stay had all the potential to be excellent, which makes this disappointment even more frustrating. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should be made to feel like a burden simply for asking about the amenities they’re paying for. End note the rooms were clean but did find some nasty mess in corners.

The Little America Hotel is beautifully remodeled property that retains its 1973 charming external architecture. The property isn’t too far from town and is next to their convenience store. The room was spacious, but we did have to call to get a few things cleaned in the room after arrival. The room had a lovely view of the property grounds. We had dinner and drinks at the Silver Pine restaurant during our stay and both were pretty enjoyable. The salmon and wild rice was worthwhile, although charging to split plates seemed unnecessary. Service was good the first day, then a tad slow the second. Service in general seems hit or miss throughout our stay, unfortunately. We did request a late checkout and were tersely rejected. Construction noise was present during the day, but ended before bed, thankfully. Overall, I would stay again, but recommend the property continue to hone their customer service. We were originally considering this property as a wedding venue, but my fiancée has decided to look elsewhere after our stay.

Very conveniently located near freeway exit, but you would never know as it's very quiet on the several hundred acres that this Little America hotel is located in. Not as nice as (say) Little America in SLC, but the Flagstaff location is a lot less expensive. Gym is small but with useful equipment. Outside pool looks good but only open seasonally. Restaurant is a bit sterile, food (breakfast) was good. The hotel is spread out over several buildings, some connected by (non-open sided) breezeways, others not. But, one can drive around and park near one's building. Great for a one night stay for travelers. Not sure why one would stay longer unless one had business in Flagstaff as there isn't a lot going on. Room was large and bed was comfortable. But, central air is noisy and never turned off no matter what controls setting.

My husband and I recently had our wedding here it to say we are impressed is an understatement. Little America and their staff are absolutely exceptional when it comes to event planning and execution. We had family flying in from across the country and they worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our guests and make our day of flow seamlessly. Axel and Courtney are true professionals and are an absolute dream to work with. They were extremely communicative in the months leading up to our wedding and were on top of everything on the day of. They worked with our vendors to make sure everything was coordinated properly and so my husband and I could enjoy ourselves and not worry. From the event space to the food at our reception, everything was spectacular and our guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed themselves. They were able to place all of our guests in a room block near each other and all of their rooms were cozy, clean, and easy to access. The only hiccup we had was that the room keys of a few of our guests seemed to deactivate on multiple occasions but the front desk easily remedied that. Overall, I highly recommend the Little America Hotel to anyone who is planning a large event or even just looking for a place to stay in Flagstaff. I cannot say enough good things about this location and their staff. Thank you so much to the team at Little America for all of their hard work and for making our wedding an unforgettable experience.

We didn't stay here, sadly, but we got our BOLs printed here. Patricia was awesome!!! She really saved me from losing so much time and money over something the previous driver neglected to do. If she hadn't printed my bills for the load we were on, we would not have been able to deliver it on time and would have lost the next load. Thank you so much!!! Honestly, we plan to make a weekend out here and stay at the hotel as soon as we can! The plane is gorgeous and looks so fun!

This hotel and property are amazing. We stopped here on our Tour de AZ Route 66 and were most impressed. For a property built in the early 70s, this place is amazing. The property looks like it was built 5 years ago.. Everything is immaculate. The rooms are large and really well-appointed. The grounds surrounding the hotel are beautiful. The lobby area, pool, and restaurant add positively to this 5-star experience.

The best hotel I have stayed at. It's entrance spectacularly decorated for Christmas drew me in. The beauty and deco continued inside . The cost to stay was affordable. The room was so spacious, and made to look like a modern home, equipped with all the necessities.Everything felt so luxurious, yet it came with an affordable price tag. The bed was so comfy with the best pillows. Loved my stay and look forward to returning.

I have to say that this hotel overall was better than I expected. It is super convenient if you plan on doing the North Pole Experience! The lobby is filled with Christmas ambiance and joy! All the cute families are decked in matching PJs. I came to check in and it was easy with the person that was helping me out. She got us in a nice convenient room near all the hustle and bustle where all the action is and where the hotel restaurant is. The rooms are way better in person than pictures. I love how spacious the room and bathroom are. There's a little mini "kitchen" with a fridge drawer, coffee maker, and a microwave! The appliances are much nicer than what you usually see at other hotels. The bathroom has a separate individual sink in addition to the bathroom with a shower and another sink. I find this super convenient and necessary to have. There are ample counter space and storage areas. I feel like they used more quality material that will last longer. So nice to see that. There's a gas station nearby as well as other restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was actually pretty tasty as well. A little on the pricey side but you're paying for convenience. Prime rib was yummy and tender and breakfast was tasty and clean. I would stay here again 100%.

We've been inside of this hotel before, dining at the delicious Silver Pines restaurant. We decided to book some dates in the fall online but sadly had to cancel. Let me tell you, this hotel has fabulous customer service! They didn't charge us and cancelled the reservation with ease. Sadly, I won't be able to review the rooms just yet. I'll have to update my review once I rebook my stay! However, I am pretty confident they are very nice, as the staff and restaurant are top notch.

We stayed at Little America for NYE week and it was absolutely perfect. Check-in and out was a breeze. Front desk was friendly. The restaurant has great food, drinks, and service by the waiter. Rooms were upscale and comfy. It was also a great surprise to have a Christmas tree lit park behind the hotel to explore. The price was also great compared to the options in downtown Flagstaff. Definitely recommend Little America.

We had a great time at Little America Hotel in Flagstaff! We booked a one night stay with the ski/snow package. We had trouble with the code they provided when trying to buy our lift tickets with snowbowl. After a few different codes they provided us with another code with an additional percent off of what our package included. They also discounted our room for trouble we went through trying to figure it out. The rooms were very nice & clean. My husband & I sat in the bar/lounge and everyone was super friendly! We will for sure stay here again next time we are in town.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Great location, right off the freeway and sits on 500 acres with trails that I wish we had time to explore. The room itself was spacious, very clean and had some unique features. It was beautifully done and we hope to come back to spend a little more time.

We recently stayed here for a weekend so we could enjoy the Flagstaff weather and hiking trails. We arrived before the 4:00pm check in time, but stopped by to see if we could get in early and we got lucky The check in experience was pretty seamless, with the front desk person being very friendly and telling us important features about the hotel. I was excited to learn about the trail behind the hotel and we did get to enjoy it. Our room was on the second floor and had balcony doors leading to the outside facing the parking lot. I was concerned this might be loud but it was not. Our spacious room had two beds and a very large bathroom with two sinks. It felt like it had been newly redone as everything was in good condition. They have a safe in a drawer as well as a fridge drawer. I love that they have refillable full size shower amenities. There was a conference going on while we were there but it had no effect on us. We did pop into the restaurant/bar for a drink and the service was spot on and they offer some nice wines. They do have a gift store and a pool and hot tub but we did not use either of these. Little America offered everything we needed: a clean room, quiet evenings, comfortable beds, a coffee machine in the room (Keurig), a good Wifi connection, and a location that is near many Flagstaff sites. We will stay here again!

We had a great time staying at the Little America Hotel for the first time with our toddler who is almost2! It was wonderful that they have the walking trail right behind the hotel so you can get a break to go into nature whenever you feel like it. The playground on site was super helpful as well to burn some energy for our toddler first thing in the morning and then later in the afternoon when we needed to get her to calm down for bed. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful and we cannot wait to come back for the North Pole experience!

Stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant was great to have on the premises and the one dinner we ordered was delicious and was ready quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall a nice hotel but for $350/night I was very surprised that there is no housekeeping service unless you ask. We had to go to the front desk to get replacement coffee and creamers every evening. Our room description was a King View room. It was on the ground floor with windows facing a wall of pine trees. No bottled water in the rooms. The shower handle fell off when trying to turn the water off. They were very busy this past weekend and there was always a line at the front desk. Heard a lot of people complaining about their rooms not being ready at checkin time. We had two rooms and were able to checkin to one room around 3. The 2nd room wasn't ready until 4:30. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Onsite gym is very small but has a few cardio machines, free weights and a smith type machine. The gym has a water refill station, which is one of two throughout the entire property. Room was clean. Like most hotels nowadays bed was marginal. Of the three people traveling together, no one got a good night sleep either day. Pillows are thin feather pillows and worthless. The HVAC was so loud ALL night, it kept us up. The room emergency sprinkler head is right above the bed and flashes all night. Onsite restaurant is good. Pricey as you'd expect from most hotel restaurants, but we were happy with the food at the various times we ate there. Service was good, apart from Sat night when we went int9 the bar for dessert. It was VERY slow. Location is very convenient and quick drive to downtown yet far enough away to be quiet. The hotel put a lot of effort 8 to the holiday decor. It was quaint and attractive. Lots of families visiting for the decorations and lights. All and all, would recommend but at the price point expected more. For reference we mostly stay in 4 & 5 star hotels and are ok with spending more on a decent hotel, but we felt this one fell short for the price point.

I know it's a little pricier than other hotels nearby and you don't get complimentary breakfast, but it's def worth it!!! Stopped by for the night and loved how they had a gas station, restaurant on site, and a big parking lot. If you have a big rig, this is the place as they have ample parking, but call ahead so they can direct you. Besides that, the customer service was impeccable. I really want to highlight Bec!! She was sooo helpful, courteous, and made our stay exceptional. We had lots of questions. She was very patient with us and the questions she didn't know, she made sure to find out. Wish we could have stayed longer, but will def come back whenever we pass by again. Thanks again for your hospitality!!!

Best Hotel in Flagstaff and Best Customer Service from Steve at the front desk! This is our second time staying here, did so years ago when kids were little to do the North Pole Experience (which we loved!) this stay was also perfect too! Big thanks to Steve for the kindness and above and beyond service after our long road trip! Room was clean and spacious and loved the Christmas tree. Restaurant great food and drinks, gift shop also fun Thank you Steve and Little America we will be back

Okay: Of all the hotels I stayed at when I went on my cross-country trip with my buddy, the Little America Hotel was by far THE BEST! First, I really like that it's built like an alpine resort. The lobby and connecting areas (bar and restaurant) are spacious and modern. Definitely looks like this place just completed extensive renovations, and nowhere is is this more true than when I got to my guest room. Everything in there looked brand-new. The bathroom rivals those at a Four Seasons or even St. Regis! The shower was also the most powerful one of all the places I visited on this trip. Even the sheets were so new, they still had creases from being taken out of the packaging they came in! Next time I find myself in Flagstaff, I'm staying at Little America Hotel. No question about it.

We stayed here last holiday season and I am so glad we chose them. Great experience all around. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and were all decorated for Christmas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have plenty of space. I especially loved the bathroom and separate vanity area with great lighting. Plenty of parking available. We will be going back in just a few weeks for Fall break!

What a great find!!!! I was traveling through Flagstaff with two young children and my husband recommend we try Little America after passing it in WY. What an incredible surprise!! The quiet and beautiful lobby greeted us with a gracious and much needed smile from the front desk attendant. She effortlessly booked our room and we were into our room within 10 minutes. Traveling alone; we felt SO SAFE the entire time through the hotel in the late evening as well. The room was spacious and spotless. The bathroom with two sinks and separate bathing quarters helped with children and gave us ample room to spread out. Our night was short as we had to continue early in the morning, we would 100% book Little America again.

I stayed for one night with my kids and had a blast. We got a great rate. The room was huge and comfortable. Actually had delicious coffee with creamer. Sliding door with screen to let fresh air in. Wonderful. We hung out by the pool, enjoyed the hot tub at night looking at the stars through the pines. Enjoyed the extensive trail in the woods that belongs to the hotel and my daughter was happy to see a playground. There was a wedding and it was fun to hear all the joy coming from that. Staff was welcoming, helpful and so friendly. Room was clean and high end. Everything smelled good. You would never think that you were near the freeway or other hotels. Very much feels like a resort getaway almost cabin like. Wonderful time and would definitely go back!

This is a 5 star stay for me when I come here. Why? My guide is not the Michelin Guide. The scenic views in the area are 5 star. The ease of travel around town are 5 star. They may not have High-Tea like the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago, or TV's in the bath tub but they do have all that is important to me. The rooms are impeccable and clean. The bath and shower in the rooms are as good as any I have stayed at. The staff are friendly, and Chef Eduardo is very talented. Dowtown dining and shopping are a hop-skip-and a jump away. Great location to spiral out and see Lowell Observatory, the Grand Canyon, Snowbowl, Antelope Canyon, or waste a day away at the high country lakes. Williams is 30 minutes away to visit the final stop on Route 66 or roll the kids through Bearizona. Back at the ranch the Silver Pine restaurant offers upscale dining if wanted or a casual bar setting with a well conceived wine list and cocktails too. Christmas time is an awesome time to stay here and the decorations are amazing! I love it here and think that you will too. #irishcatv2 #vinosquared

I hesitate to review this little gem in the woods because I don't want it to get out how lovely, stylish, and comfortable Little America Hotel is. I stayed here as part of a conference. When I walked into the hotel lobby, which is also the entrance to the conference area, I was pleasantly surprised! The foyer and lobby area is gorgeous, offset by a huge stone fireplace that adds a rustic warmth to the lobby. The gift shop has unique, interesting, and well-crafted items, many of which are locally made. The conference facility is beautiful and the staff was professional, pleasant, and helpful. I experienced two meals offered as part of the conference: one was a buffet for a cocktail hour. I only tried a few items, deviled eggs and an asparagus bruschetta that was delicious! The bartenders were fun and friendly and fast! The breakfast was only average, but it hit the spot. The coffee was nice and hot and strong, which is not often the case at big events! My room? The size of a one-bedroom apartment. According to one employee, this hotel took advantage of the lockdown during the pandemic and completely remodeled the entire place. And it shows. My room had unique, rustic furniture but yet was updated, modern, and very comfortable. Another one of those "don't want to leave" walk-in showers made up a good portion of the bathroom. Honestly, it felt like a suite to me. Features in-room included quality coffees and a Keurig machine and even a steam iron for those pesky travel wrinkles! All of the lodge-like buildings are connected by a first-floor walkway that gets you back to the restaurant and lobby. You'll find a gym, and, I'm told, a hot tub, but I didn't think to bring a suit. I'm also told there is a nicely paved walking path throughout the property. My only complaint was the light meal I purchased for dinner from the restaurant. Drawing on the delicious bit of bruschetta I had during happy hour, I ordered an appetizer of assorted bruschetta. It was nothing like what I've had in the past (nor nothing like what I had during that conference happy hour). I was so disappointed b/c I was hungry and too tired to walk back to the restaurant to get something different. BUT, I'm sure other offerings in the restaurant, which focused on American-style fare, would have been better than what I chose. All in all? I'm putting this on my "must recommend" list for anyone visiting the Flagstaff area, and plan to come back, myself, for a longer stay.

After just arriving in town, we decided to forego the 40 minute drive down the canyon to Sedona for a nice one night stay elsewhere. We were tired and I've always been a fan of Little America's high standards, aesthetics and general quality. Though not as posh, it was the best of our ten nights in the region. From the front desk clerk to the gift shop ladies to the restaurant staff; everything was stellar. I highly recommend this or any other Little America property. They do it right.

Came up to Flag for a conference and this hotel was hosting the conference and what a gem of a spot in Flagstaff! I've been coming to Flagstaff now for over 5 years and this place by far is the best hotel I have stayed at! Great experience and highly recommend it! The location is a little wonky as it is right off the I-40 and the hotel is a bit hidden, which is nice because once you get past the convenience store at the entrance, it opens up into a nice main building and a few other buildings. Lobby is cozy and since it is the holidays, they already have their beautiful Xmas up and the fireplace is gorgeous and really warm! I had dinner in their restaurant and it's quite spacious and inviting. I sat at the bar, service was good, food came as expected, no hiccups, very solid. My room was in lodge 4 which is a bit farther from the main building, so had to drive over when I arrived. Room was clean and tidy. Mini fridge available. Beautiful bathroom, just wished my room had a tub option. There is a fitness center, swimming pool and hot tub on site but did not get a chance to visit them on this visit. Gift shop also on site but I didn't anything to my liking. Definitely give this place a try, you'll be happy you did!

Room was so large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Price was great! Landscaping was kept up. Beautiful pool and hot tub. The restaurant was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Little America Hotel was a perfect weekend stay. It's located in Flagstaff, which was a ~2.5 hours drive to Page. It was the ideal location to stay to visit Flagstaff then drive to Sedona afterward. The entrance to the main driveway of the hotel is an immediate right past the light, across the gas station seen on the left. We missed it the first time, so we had to U-turn in the midst of some traffic. The check-in process was easy. The front desk staff was accommodating and helped with reserving some activities in Page. There are plenty of rooms (up to 4 lodges) and parking lot spaces. Grounds are well-maintained with a pool, hot tub, volleyball court, and playground. I loved that all lodges are connected. However, it's important to note that some do not have elevators to the second floor. I am not sure if the rooms all have a similar design, but I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and homey. Upon entry, there is a small kitchenette with a drawer fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine with coffee and tea pods. There is a huge TV immediately in front of the bed. The restroom was my favorite, as there are 2 vanity mirrors (one by the shower and another outside). Showerhead had great pressure, and I loved the personal toiletries. There is no room service during these COVID times, so you have to go to the front desk to request your needed items. We grabbed the Korean Chicken sandwich to-go, and it was delicious. I'm not sure how the other foods are, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. I would recommend checking out the Sawmill for food, drinks, and shopping. Would I come back? Yes!

I love staying here when I'm in Flagstaff. Each time we've stayed, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The Silver Pine Restaurant and the lobby and gift shop are fun to hang out in. I especially love how they decorate for the holidays. The grounds Are beautifully lit. Very difficult to get a room during the holidays though because they host the North Pole Experience. The rates jump up significantly around this time as well.

Wonderful hotel that deserves all of the massive praise it receives and then some! I'm pretty certain this is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at in this price range by a long shot and one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in anywhere, and I've stayed in many many hotels at this point and quite a few high end ones. Literally everything far exceeded what anyones expectations would have been at such a wallet friendly price point. Room was impeccably clean, luxuriously and stylishly furnished featuring one of the most comfortable and cozy beds I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on that resulted in the most refreshing nights sleep of our trip by far. Perhaps best of all was the sprawling bathroom with two separate closed off areas each with their own sinks separating the shower areas from the toilet, which offers a rare amount of privacy and space that could accommodate two people at a time in each of the areas, a unicorn type hotel bathroom setup if you will! While the somewhat eccentric location behind a gas station hard off the highway might initially strike one as awkward and off putting, once you actually settle in it actually becomes charming in its own kooky way, helping it present as a hidden oasis I the midst of suburban sprawl and only further emphasizing how unique of gem it is. As noted by many, as long as you don't mind a little driving each day and extended stay here could serve as a perfect home base for exploring both the iconic destinations of the Grand Canyon and Sedona. While the Grand Canyon is as at least as awe inspiring as expected, the surrounding "town" of Tusayan has shockingly little to offer and the very slim pickings are all of astonishingly low quality. Seriously the restaurant offerings consist of corny tourist trap slop houses and even the fast food options are limited to a Wendy's and a Pizza Hut EXPRESS, not even a real Pizza Hut. We opted for a Mexican dinner, as I assumed considering we were in Arizona so Mexican would likely have to be at least passable but was proven wrong. There's seriously nothing else of interest to see do or eat beyond the canyon so no need to stay a moment longer up there once you've had your fill. Sonoma, on the other hand while quite likely being the pound for pound most beautiful place I've ever seen, is at the same time quite small and touristy, as well as extremely pricey, so unless you really want to go luxe and ball out, you might be better served staying at this gem a mere 40 minute drive away and limiting it to day trips down the windy mountain road and back. Even the most budget of options, like the Hampton Inn we stayed at which frankly was sub par even compared to the normal average of that chain, will likely set you back 2 to 3 times the price of this wonderful establishment. I found the funky offbeat college/Mountain town of Flagstaff (fun fact, it sits at one of the highest elevations of any place in the country, considerably higher than Denver or Santa Fe) to be considerably more interesting and in fact would have loved the opportunity to explore it further, were it not for the fact that I was so enchanted by this wonderful hotel that I found it hard to leave the room. But that, I suppose is what we call a quality problem!

I have been staying at this hotel since I was a little Girl.. it was jewel of Flagstaff Az where I grew up... I had my wedding night here and many anniversaries and birthdays where Celebrated by getting a room and ordering room service which would be service fit for royalty. This was part of the experience i had come to expect at "Little America" Well like all places over time they remodeled it.. and yes.. it lost most if its majesty with this remodel. The rooms are 1/2 the size there are no Bathtubs to soak in only showers. And the worst part... is THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE !! At least no in the mornings I have unsuccessfully tried 2 different times to get breakfast ordered, was told they only opened at 7:00 in the morning, Ya well that's not true the restaurant phone will not even get picked up... you have to leave a message.. then when they are available they will call you back.. the last time I tried ordered rooms service i ended up arguing with restaurant, after finally calling several time and reaching some one and telling them, that they "said they offered, room service" I was told they didn't have anyone to deliver the food to my room. I finally did get "room service" what I got was paper bag delivered with cold oatmeal inside .. I am so disappointed in the lack of "little America's Majestic qualities being gone!

Loved our stay at the Little America. Outstanding customer service at check in from Justina and Sadie. So kind and helpful to me and my daughter. We loved our room near the forest. A wonderful nature trail through the woods from the hotel. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Will definitely stay at Little America again. Sadie was 5++ customer service. Thank you. Edit: was 5 stars before the lady at our checkout refused to let us checkout any later than standard. Football team was staying and plenty of rooms to clean before ours. We had plans at Flagstaff Xtreme and had to rush back to the room, pack and be out by 930am. Overall we were happy with our stay just not about checkout which was 2 stars. :(

9/13/22: it's a hotel & gas station all rolled into one haha! We had to make multiple bathroom pit stops & stretching breaks from sitting in the car too long from CA to TX, so this was one of our gas/bathroom stops. Nothing fancy, right off the freeway and it served its purpose.

Our New Years get away here was such a blast! The 18" of snow did help tremendously. The room was beautiful, food at the restaurant, and staff all around were exceptional! Thank you Little America!

This hotel is nice, one of the nicer hotels in Flagstaff. The decor and overall appearance is high quality. A little bit of an identity crisis in the lobby vs the buildings vs the rooms. Could probably stand to update the carpeting but I can't really complain because the price was right - $215. Not bad for Memorial Day weekend! These other reviews complain all day long about the service or features but it's not a 5 star hotel and you're not paying 5 star prices. The reason I give three stars is because of the bed. Oh my gosh was this the worst mattress ever. I've only ever slept on a worse mattress and that was a sleep number with a flat. No, this mattress was from the Stone Age. Hard as a rock. And the bedding was rated 10 Brillo pad count. Ouch. I couldn't sleep. But if you can get over not sleeping this is a great place.

Wonderful rooms, responsive and professional staff, plus a great little walking trail out back.

We stayed here a week starting Memorial weekend. We have stayed for a short time in the past when we went on the Grand Canyon rafting trips and always wanted to come back and stay longer. We stayed four nights. The rooms have been upgraded and they are spacious! The bathroom had two sinks which my husband and I appreciated! Room was very clean and the bed is comfortable. Located within an alpine forest with a nice two mile trail. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and enjoyed Happy Hour at the bar. Large pool on the property which looked nice for the kids and to lounge by and read a book. Everything closed down by 10 pm and it was a nice quiet place to get a good night's sleep after a day of hiking. Room comes with a small refrigerator. We will come back!

We stayed here as part of going to the North Pole Experience. It is a beautiful hotel with very kind staff. However I wish there had been more information available. First: Don't waste your money paying for the package. It's cheaper to get the room and tickets for the breakfast buffet separately (over 100$ cheaper in our case) Second: It was chilly outside but you're only outside from the hotel to the trolley (bus) and the trolley to the workshop. Third: I wish they would have said to purchase the ornament, when I asked the desk lady said they gave them to us, which I didn't think sounded right but with cost I thought maybe it was part of their package. Fourth: I saw some reviews mention signing up for the buffet, we didn't because no one told me we needed to. This also means we don't know how they will even know we're supposed to be there. Overall it is a beautiful place, but more information and organization would go a long way!

The room remodels are amazing and up to date. During the Christmas holidays all the lights are up and makes the holiday spirit come to life.

Little America was surprisingly pleasant during our one-night stay (8/10/20). Originally I booked a room with my AAA discount for a king and a pull-out couch sleeper. The front desk employee had a double queen room ($138.98 fees & taxes included) for us so we switched. The room itself was really nice and clean. The grounds were well-maintained and the set-up is relatively safe with a well-lit parking lot and key card system to get into each lodge. There are some nice eateries in the area. Super close to the interstate. The only thing I didn't like were how the front desk ladies allowed a rude Karen-like woman with a non-working key just walk up and cut in front of the couple in front of me. They didn't appreciate it either. They just didn't handle it smoothly at all in my opinion. During COVID era, masks are required and social distancing is encouraged. Definitely would stay here again... great for families. Nice area to beat the heat.

We got snowed in the week after Christmas. What a beautiful place to be stuck! Great staff, wonderful rooms, and decent food! I will come back for sure.

I selected Little America due to reviews, location & the ability to have fun in the snow without venturing far from hotel. I have to say I am disgusted at the clenliness of the room that they put my family in. There was food & milk from the previous person STILL in the fridge, there were handprints & water runs from shower condinsation on the door seperating bathroom from sink, trash / food on floor. Tile areas are dirty & looked uncleaned & whatever was spilled on the wall was left for perhaps a conversation piece. At a cost of almost $400 a night I expected better. After bringing up to hotel staff they offered a 10% cleanliness discout (about $30), which hardly satifies the burden of having to pick up the slack where the housekeeping failed. Depending on how the hotel staff tries to correct the issue will depend on if this will be a future option gor accomodations.

We just had a quick overnight stay at Little America, but it was a very pleasant one. We decided to extend our trip and I found them the night before check-in in booking.com for $149 (king room with pull out couch). Check-in (4PM) was a breeze. They sent me a text and an email a few hours before saying I could take advantage of online check-in by providing my card and ID details. It was done over a secure server and once I arrived at Little America all I had to do was make a quick stop by guest services to grab my keys. I had a short interaction with members of staff, but despite its brevity it was very pleasant. The room was perfect for what we needed. It was comfortable for 2 adults and a small child for a short stay. The room came with 2 balconies, but they're standing balconies not "sitting and chilling" balconies. The room was very light and both looked and smelled clean. The bed was comfortable and we both had an enjoyable nights sleep. My son loved the fold out bed (I think he's just amazed by the concept), but I was on it for a period of time and it was comfortable. The room also featured a small desk area, a sitting area, and a small kitchenette with a small fridge (hidden among the draws) , a microwave, and a Keiurig with some coffee and tea pods. There was no ironing board or iron, I'm not 100% sure if this was oversight or Covid precautions, however we did not need one during our stay. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and featured 2 vanities (one inside the toilet/shower area the other outside). They had a light up makeup mirror for convenience and provided the usual (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). The glass shower heated up quickly and the water pressure was very good (infinitely better than the last place we stayed). There was a large TV in the room, however channels were limited. Movies were available for on-demand purchase ($19.99). The grounds are absolutely beautiful and feature a pool and hot tub, a volleyball court, and a kids playground/swing set. My son absolutely loved the playground! We came from California where playgrounds are VERBOTEN so to watch him play was magical. We came at 7am the second day as well, and the weather was perfect for him to enjoy it. We weren't able to enjoy the pool (due to our own personal time constraints) however it looked very nice (covid limit of 50 guests, with an on duty attendant). The restaurant was unfortunately closed to dine-in however they did offer contactless room service. The guest shop was also closed (both due to Covid). There is plenty of onsite parking, it was never an issue. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend and visit here again!o

We absolutely loved our stay here. We booked our room here in order to have the convenience for the North Pole Experience close by...which was amazing!!!! The room was clean and very spacious. The grounds were decorated with Christmas lights on the trees, which made things look so magical especially at night. We booked the double queen room. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows were soft, the bathroom had great water pressure and was hot. There was a really small mini fridge that could fit a few things, a safe, a mini microwave, a steamer, and a blow dryer in the room. There was even a small balcony that looked out at the trees on the grounds covered in Christmas lights. Check-in was seamless. The young lady that checked me in was awesome and super helpful. The lobby was also decorated beautifully. I would definitely come back and stay here.

We had a very unfortunate experience with an AirBnB and needed a last minute place to stay in Flagstaff, AZ. Little America was really an oasis in the desert for us. The reservation staff was very helpful and upon check-in the man that helped us at the front desk was very understanding of our requests. We had a very quiet and uneventful night at Little America....just what we needed!

My boyfriend and I took a day trip to Flagstaff and spent one night here just to get away from the Phoenix heat. Staff was friendly, outdoor hiking trails were beautiful and we just enjoyed the serenity of it all. Although the gift shop is currently closed due to COVID, the hotel is conveniently located right by a gas station with a market that you can walk to. Although the fitness gym as well as the dine in experience of the restaurant (Silver Pine) was closed, we were able to order takeout or you can get delivery to your room for an extra fee. Pool and hot tub are still open with maximum capacity limits set. All in all, this overnight stay was much needed and we enjoyed it. Looking forward to returning when things are back to normal and everything is open to fully enjoy it. Hand sanitizer stations are found in the main lobby with mask mandates in place.

This was our second time staying here and we plan to go back in Oct for some fall weather. Rooms are cheaper during the week. Rooms are immaculate. Feels like home walking into the room. Larger than most hotel rooms. Sheets were fresh and crisp. Bathroom very large as it has two sinks - one in the bathroom and one in the dressing room. Now let's talk about the back property. Absolutely amazing. Besides being well groomed, there is a pool and a play yard for children. One of the employees was putting different color lights on the tress. Purple was my favorite. There is a walking trail which was so nice for a walk in the morning. Trees among trees, and flowers among beautiful flowers. There is also a gazebo for weddings and gatherings. Plenty of lighting for the evening too. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Again amazing. Most likely the best coffee ever had. Our server (forgot her name) made the best cafe mocha!! Front desk was beyond courteous and helpful. Absolutely nothing negative about this place. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere. This is the best of the best.

We did not stay in here but we did have a chance to visit and experience the wonderful gift shop. As a 3.5 star hotel of one of the many hotels in flagstaff, I have to say, this one gave me a really special feeling and impression. Walking in the hall, you could suddenly feel something about "flagstaff temperament", which is totally different from other national hotel chains. They offer large and upscale meeting spaces and it's also the destination of North Pole Express (NPX)! We went on our NPX bus there and met lots of nice peoples from all across the nation (and the world) ! I have to say, nice place would bring the best people together, and I would highly recommend here if you wish to stay and have Christmas family fun with NPX Having fun!

Two years in a row we have come to this hotel in December. We have intentionally booked the Apartment Suite which coincidentally is the most expensive room. To be fair, we have arrived before "check in" time. Both years we have experienced an extremely long wait for check in as they clean the room. The problem is that we watch people check in repeatedly ahead of us. The moral to the story is that when you reserve a room at this hotel, reserve the cheapest room You can. You will get better service and a quicker Check in. All of which makes zero common or Business sense.

Pretty hotel and the rooms were quite roomy. I booked a King Bedroom with a "View" as I wanted a room overlooking the X-mas lights as it was advertised. We arrived about two hours early, which was at 2pm as check in is at 4pm. We arrived for the North Pole Experience that they host at this hotel. I really think they should offer earlier check in times for guests that are doing the NPX. Our experience was booked for 4:40 and it did not give us a lot of time to get ready. They were nice enough to check us in early, but our room only had a view of a Tree and a grass area with nothing else. No view really to speak of. The room was roomy and comfortable with a fridge, safe, large bathroom(no tub), a separate vanity area, comfortable bedding and a couch area with an office desk. We had plenty of room and was very happy with it. I did have a dirty towel hanging up in the bathroom which was disturbing because it was very apparent. So, if that was left dirty what else was? The hotel gets pretty much sold out due to the NPX, so they likely are overworked for their house cleaning as well. We did do the Santa Breakfast and it was underwhelming. I'm not sure what I expected, but it was a really large banquet room full of tables and a buffet type area with continental type breakfast items and a person making omelets. We did not eat very much. They had Santa sitting in a chair and the kids could take photos with him. That was it. Pricey for what it was and would pass on it.

What a charming place to stay. The hotel was clean the staff Was friendly. I stayed because of a chamber event being held here. I am so glad I tried this place. They had a great small hiking trail to try. The sound of nature was exactly what I needed. The restaurant had the best food and wine. Great breakfast was served in the morning. The pool was heated and the Gym was accessible. I'll definitely be back.

Our third stay over five years. Consistently excellent service and rooms. This room is so clean! I have my yoga mat on the floor and it is clean under the curtains,, it is clean behind the bed platform, it is clean under the sofa sleeper. The bathroom floor is spotless as are sinks, counters and shower. Rooms are extra large, and are equipped with beautiful hand carved desks and headboards that follow the natural pine wood grains and knots. Pleasant southwest colors. Luxury fixtures and marble finishes in the bathroom with a huge glass enclosed shower and two sinks and vanities, excellent linens. Carpet is clean, and not a stray hair to be found in the bathroom. Premium toiletries. Yes, it was still $229 a night with a group rate for our hockey team. But this hotel had GROUNDS TO DIE FOR, covered in pine trees and walking paths, green play areas and playground near the buildings, volleyball and a 2 mile hiking trail right on premises. Pool, hot tub, gorgeous surroundings, so worth every penny.
