Stayed in the Meadow Cabin with family next door in the River Cabin (which we do every year). Little Arrow does a tremendous job in maintaining cabins. So clean and comfortable. Great decor and wonderful outside area . Perfect location in Townsend.

We loved our stay at Little Arrow! We stayed in one of the cozy cabins for 2 nights. When we first arrived, we noticed our hot water wasn't working properly. We called the after hours number and within minutes Mr. Mark showed up to fix it! He was so kind and worked quickly to get the problem resolved. Everyone we encountered at Little Arrow was friendly and provided us great service. We are planning to have our wedding in Townsend in the fall and are encouraging our family and friends to all stay at Little Arrow! We will be back for sure.

My husband and I decided to take a family vacation this year with our children, grandchildren and in-laws. We left it up to our daughter to locate a place and make a reservation. She chose Little Arrow because when she passed in front 2 years ago, she said we must go there. This has been the most cherished and memorable time for us. Our vacation home was more than we expected. It had any and everything you need. Front desk and maintenance were very helpful and pleasant. |THIS PLACE IS PERFECT. Quiet, yet so many things to do...close to town...the bedding, the space for each guests, the fire pit, were just all perfect. |We we definitely go back and will also recommend Little Arrow Outdoor Resort. |Thank you for making this our perfect family vacation. |Elaine L. Called and booked last minute over the phone to surprise family who was staying at the campground next-door. Unfortunately, due to weather, my flight was canceled and the team here at Little arrow, Especially Olivia, We’re so kind and understanding with issues and helped me cancel. They were extremely nice and thoughtful. I will for sure be booking with him and staying in the future. I would recommend anyone booking with these folks as they are really awesome.

We LOVED our stay at Little Arrow!! We rented one of the vacation homes and it was perfect to have the space for our family and be able to use all the amenities. We used the playground and heated pool a ton and loved our meals at Campfire Cafe. All the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The whole resort is well designed and thoughtful. We will definitely be back!

Recently stayed at one of their tiny homes for a week in December. The resort is right as you exit the Great Smoky Mountains. The main city of Townsend was very quiet and had a great small town vibe. Townsend Coffee and Dancing Bear Bistro is a must stop. The resort was great, we throughly enjoyed our time there. Everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and helpful. The tiny house was perfect for my wife and me. Since it appeared to be the off season the resort was so quiet and peaceful. This place is definitely on a must return list for us. FYI they have a self serve coffee machine near the office with free coffee in the mornings. My only gripe was the WiFi, but why am I on my phone, get outside!

Google
The best resort in the area! We only stay in Townsend and always at Little Arrow. It is a great place for families, singles or couples. Very close to everything in the Smokies, but it truly is on the quiet side of the Smokies. Great food, in the area and at Little Arrow. Dancing Bear Bistro, Company Distillery, Peaceful Side Social, The Abbey etc. This only adds to the fun you will have staying with Little Arrow. It is definitely not just a campground, rental airstreams, glamping tents, tiny cabins and the list goes on and on.The staff treats you like family. It is our go to in the Smokies.

Google
Campground itself has beautiful amenities, everyone was very friendly and Jay was extremely attentive to guests’ needs and wishes and went above and beyond. We stayed at site B22 by the river, which was pretty- but the traffic noise was loud. We were expecting events and activities for Thanksgiving week, but there was really just the Friendsgiving and the other days were pretty ghostly. The campground has lots of potential for wonderful vibe especially during a holiday week, but the pavilion is left dark and cold, the communal firepit was put to use only after we mentioned it and Jay agreed- there’s just so much potential for an extra special environment. We enjoyed our stay, but don’t think we will be back- especially for the price, traffic, and lack of vibe- even though Jay really did everything he could!

Yelp
We camped here in our RV for the first time this Memorial Day weekend. Pros: - best campground pool I've ever seen with fountains and waterfalls - big pavilion with events and live music on the weekend - food truck stop - bike trails that can take you over to Burger Master for a flurry or burger To Improve: - If the road around the RV sites were all paved that would be fantastic. Our bikes (adults and kids) fish tailed a lot when riding around in the gravel to get to the paved parts that were around the rest of the campground (all of the other roads are paved to cabins and tiny houses, etc.). - The signs for the hot tub could be better placed. There were kids in the hot tub at the top of the stairs but there is sign that says adults only on the gate when you first walk up. On the back of the gate it says adults can ask kids to leave. My kids thought they were not allowed in the area at all because of the sign on the front of the gate. (My kids who don't splash or cause a ruckus.) My 11yo recommends switching the signs so it says that adults may ask kids to leave when you walk up, instead of "adults only". - Also, locks on the shower stall doors would be awesome too. When we were in there taking showers, people would yell "is someone in this one?" - because the doors didn't have locks and it was hard to tell which was taken. The bathrooms were nice and pretty clean, stalls were kind of small when helping a child (not much room to move around). - WiFi could be better. Overall, it was fun and we will be back. I would probably give it 5 stars once the RV loops are paved so it's safer to ride bikes throughout the entire campground. We saw kids walking their bikes out of the RV loops because it was so unsafe. I had some close calls a few times and I've been riding bikes for almost 40 years! We enjoyed the Capt'n Mac's Seafood and Grill food truck there for Memorial Day weekend.

Yelp
Ants were all in our cabin and when we mentioned it to the front desk they said "yeah, I'll make a note". The grounds and pool are nice but the staff were incredibly unfriendly. The pool opens at 10a and one of the staff members came out at 10:03a yelling at my kids and another family telling us we can't get in the pool. Not sure if she was intoxicated or just having a bad day but we let her know what time it was and she just said "oh okay" and walked off. If staff was more hospitable this place would be a 4 or 5 to me.

Yelp
Only negative is the campground areas are not paved so it's difficult for kids to ride bikes there. Great amenities with pool and hot tub. Lots of mountain biking trails. Captain Mac's food truck is amazing and they had a live band on Saturday nights.

Yelp
Here are the positives. Our unit had a fire pit which we happily used. Firewood is available on site for $7 on the honor system "after hours" however there were no matches so we bought a fire stick lighter from the nearest store. Very nice deck with four comfortable rocking chairs and a great view. Very peaceful place with no road noise and plenty of parking. We felt very safe there and walked the grounds after dark to and from the pool. The pool and Jacuzzi were surprisingly nice with lovely rock waterfalls and appealing landscaping; ample outdoor lounge seating and a few cabanas. Towels were available at the pool, although they were all gone by the time we got there in the evening. Pool was not heated in mid-May. Little gift shop by the pool with fun merchandise. My husband purchased a few t-shirts. Very clean and well-maintained family friendly resort with an option for "glamping" in the tents close to a stream. Although our bathroom was very small, it had everything we needed including shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel plus a hairdryer and plenty of bath towels. The kitchen had a surprisingly large refrigerator and the standard glasses, plates and silverware. We ate elsewhere and did not use the kitchen, but everything was there if we needed it. There is a coffee lounge at the resort, which also has tons of games suitable for adults and children. Here are the negatives. We stayed in one of the tiny homes with another couple. It was a two bedroom and our biggest complaint was the room certainly was very tiny; no room between the bed and the wall so you had to walk sideways to get by, no closet and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. We didn't sleep well. Note: Our friend's room in the same unit was much larger. Free coffee was available during our stay 9 AM to 11 AM in the coffee lounge but most people (like us) want their coffee earlier. The charge for coffee in the machine was $3 for a very small cup. The line to get the coffee was also very long. Plus the machine needed maintenance for the coffee grounds to be emptied by an employee so everyone had to wait for that. My advice if you stay there is to bring your own coffee. We got bit by some kind of bug in the bed and the sheets were not completely clean when we arrived (specs of dirt and debris on the bottom fitted sheet). Consider bringing your own sheets to avoid this scenario.

Yelp
We've been through this area several times and nothing compares to this camping resort. The amenities that this campground provides are top-notch: from their beautiful pool complex, restrooms and showers, laundromat, pavilion, coffee station, facility staff, this place is fantastic. I so appreciate the intelligent little touches like having a QR code and being able to accept Venmo for firewood purchases after hours, such simple touches make your stay a breeze. We had a creekside campground, with firepit, covered picnic table and full hookups. With our small travel trailer, sometimes it's nice to be surrounded by larger campers because it means you have the whole bathroom to yourself. This place is so well maintained and, although loaded with amenities, still offers peace, quiet and lovely natural surroundings.

Peter H.

Yelp
Great place. Excellent RV sights. Probably best campground we have stayed at. However, fire pits too deep. Takes at least four stacks to have a fire to sit around and enjoy. Wireless service still needs a bit of strength. Definitely do highly recommend Little Arrow.

Yelp
Best campground I've been to. Hilly, but you're in the mountains. General store, laundry, free coffee in the game room in the morning, river fishing, challenging trails, excellent sites, nice jacuzzi and pool, local shopping, ... so much.

Peter O.

Yelp
In a 2023 world of connectivity, remote work and digital streaming Little Arrow's 1990's approach to Wifi doesn't keep up (literally). But It's nice as long as you don't expect the internet to work.... Between the bad outdoor wifi coverage and the fact you have to pay $3 per day, per additional device (that's $30 per device for our 10 day stay). So work PC + teen's PC + 3 iPhones (minus one device was included) = an additional $120 for really slow internet that requires you to turn off all device security/privacy to maybe get a login screen (that actually has a direct URL that the staff know, but won't give out unless you ask) then it drops you all day. My 1 bar of Verizon LTE is faster than the wifi here. And the best part.. is that the staff are trained to blame it on the "mountains". . Because some how the "mountains" are responsible for a bad outdoor 802.11 mesh network design, awful authentication and the nickel/dime approach to wifi access. The ironic part is their "cafe" has free internet that is blazing fast (160 mbps) but it's limited to the cafe (doesn't even cover the pool behind it which is also frustrating).. so WAN speed is not the issue.. just bad service/design from "Access Parks" which appears to be the ISP they contacted for the mesh buildout and management.

Yelp
Such a fun weekend. Snow on Saturday and kids in the pool on Thursday. Large hot tub and splash pad for kids to play on. We wound up knowing several people while we were there and met some great folks and pets. A nice well manicured campground. Excellent facilities. Word to the wise... make your own reservation and use your own email. That is how the WiFi works/codes. They would not let me change it to mine. Lots of activities are planned for campers. 10 mile paved bike/walk path near by. Children's playground is awesome. Lots of different ways to stay... RV, cabins, tents, and a couple of campers you can even rent. Two great places we ate near by Peaceful Side Social close to IGA grocery store and The Riverstone Restaurant. There was a great ACE Hardware also. We drove to Cades Cove and did the loop. We visited the Heritage Museum. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Stayed at a Tiny House for the weekend in May. Kids and whole family had a great time! We hope to make it back for a trip in the fall and may do one of the less expensive cabins!

Yelp
We love this resort! We want to complement Lynette who works here, at the little arrow for helping us learn more about all that is offered here at the little arrow resort. The pool is awesome! We love the hot tub! We love how dogs are allowed here, and we like everything about the little arrow resort.

Yelp
Such a beautiful place. Check-in/out was so easy. The site was very unlevel, so it took a while to level our camper. Most other sites looked pretty level. So many amenities. The bathhouse is gorgeous and clean. My friends were camping beside us and accidentally locked their camper keys inside. The camp hosts were there within 10 minutes with spare keys. They saved the vacation. Customer service is top-notch. This was our second stay and hope to be back soon.

Mariko S.

Yelp
Excellent RV camping! Note that spits by river, road is right there. Very clean and close to other attractions. Free coffee in am! Internet was non-existent even with purchase.

Chad H.

Yelp
CAUTION if you plan to stay here, especially with kids, please use caution! Sadly there is no sense of responsibility. Exposed NAILS on scrap lumber just laying around the campground (really kids could get seriously injured) & this was not found in the pool construction site. When I asking management about it, I was told "thats the responsibility of somebody else", the roofing contractor. Amenities such was Wi-Fi doesn't work. When you inquire about this with management, once again you're told "yeah we know it doesn't work but that's the responsibility of someone else", the internet company. I wish the "resort" would take responsibility for there seems to be zero pride of ownership and customer service is non-existent.

Yelp
Our daughter was getting married in Walland. We all booked our stays at Little Arrow. They were to have there rehearsal dinner at the clubhouse. It was paid for months in advance. A month before the wedding they got a call saying the club house was under renovations. Who does that to a bride the month before?? They live out of state and nothing like having your daughter call and be upset a month before nuptials. They offered them the pool area, but wouldn't close it down for rehearsal dinner unless they pay additional money. They ended up having rehearsal at the wedding venue. When we arrived at Little Arrow, they weren't renovating the clubhouse they turned it into a restaurant. Nothing like lying to your paying guests. By the way WIFi sucked!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. People have asked and after this experience my daughter and new husband have gone through, they will not be vacationing there.

Yelp
I've been going to this campground ever since I was about as knee high to a grasshopper! I am now 22 - I've seen this place change over the years, and for the better! It is a beautiful place, with lots of fun and adventures to be had! You can raft down the river, swim at the pool, take your kids to the playground, and so much more! You couldn't ask for a better, and more peaceful, relaxing place!

Yelp
My family and I LOVE Little Arrow! It's our favorite place to staycation! We're Townsend locals and live only a few minutes away, but as busy business owners who can't always get out of town for vacation, we seek fun and relaxation refuge at Little Arrow. Last year, we stayed in one of the tiny homes. What a fun experience! This week, for Spring Break, we stayed in one of the glamping tents. What a treat! The beds were so cozy! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the dishes, kitchen tools and utensils needed. It even had its own bathroom!! The shower was wonderful! It is completely enclosed to create a sauna experience and even has a rain head showering option! Definitely a luxurious camping experience!! The whole campground is impeccably maintained. The staff members are always very friendly and helpful. If all that I've already mentioned isn't enough, they even have food trucks onsite on Friday's and Saturday's. Perfect when you need a break from food prep and cooking!

Yelp
We booked here for the Smokey Mountain Half Marathon. Out of all the campgrounds we've stayed at, over the years, some with our own camper some without this by far is now our new favorite!!! Casey at the front desk is the nicest person. She was quick to recognize the most important part of the family... Murphy our puppy!!! The tiny cabins are soooo nice. My wife's first comment was, "I could live in this" we live this place. If your planning a trip to the smokies, you have to stay here!!! Will definitely be back!!!

Wendy F.

Yelp
Setting is beautiful but customer service and "luxury" aspect is clearly missing. WiFi is a joke. It doesn't work. And you're allowed just one device per day. They block your cell service so you can't make calls or use the network. You shouldn't advertise WiFi if it doesn't work. Just be honest. They offer hand towels in bathroom but we were there five nights and not once were towels available. They advertise coffee lounge being open 24/7, but when my friend (cancer survivor) wanted to use the lounge for her final cancer zoom call they said "oh, lounge is open 24/7 except when it's not. You should use the WiFi at your site." See first comment above. The on-site restaurant wasn't open the entire time we were there. And to top it all off, we asked our friends to watch our dogs for an hour. They were in a cabin and apparently the manager saw our friends walking out with four dogs instead of two. The manager charged our friends' credit card $200 without even saying something to them. Thankfully, our friends caught the charge. Unprofessional and the furthest thing from any luxury resort I've ever stayed in. If you advertise amenities you should provide them or just brand yourself as a regular campground. This place has sooooo much potential, but the staff and ownership ruin the experience. Our party of nine will never return and we certainly won't recommend to anyone who asks.

Yelp
After we got word we were going to evacuate Hurricane Florence from Camp Lejeune, NC, we decided we wanted to head west and needed to find a great place we could park our RV while waiting out the storm. As a military family, when we travel we look for places that support the military and we came across Little Arrow Outdoor Resort on the "Tents for Troops" website. To our surprise this little gem was right smack dab in the middle of the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. After looking at their website and booking our RV space, I walked next door and shared with our neighbors and friends about this cute little place we were going to evacuate to. They hadn't made plans yet either, so they jumped on board, renting a cozy cabin. Upon arrival, we walked in the office/camp store and immediately we knew we made the best choice. The staff was so welcoming and knew of our situation. They were quick to offer any help during our stay. Our children loved the crystal-clear pool, while we enjoyed the cabanas and great covered patio with TV's that overlooked the pool while we played cards/dominoes. Everything about this little campground from the bath house to the playground, camp sites to the coffee house has the cutest décor, so incredibly clean and a very welcoming feel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel home. Always checking in on us, loving on our pups and kids, stopping by to chat while we were outside playing cornhole or hanging by the campground. They offered tubes for us to play in the river, complimentary tickets to the Knoxville Zoo (which was incredible), and always made sure we had what we needed (including office space for me to host a webinar for work). After almost 2 weeks you would think we would be ready to go home, but instead we hated having to leave. This little campground quickly became home, and the staff became family. We cannot wait to come back again, however, this time for vacation!!! Thank you Brad, Carmen, Sheri, and crew! We loved every second there! The Skillings and LeClair Families!

Yelp
We were amazed to come back this year expecting Tremont Resort to find the place now Little Arrow. The improvements made this place go from a 6/10 to 10/10. Much more welcoming than before. Upgraded sites. Helpful staff. A coffee house. New playground. Upgraded welcome center. Glamping. Tiny houses and more. Military discounts too. See you next year!!!!!!!

Lisa S.

Yelp
We booked their clubhouse for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding 7 months before our wedding date, which was fully paid. Catering for the event had been organized and invitations with all the details had been sent to all our guests. We also booked a tiny house and airstream for ourselves (again fully paid months prior) and several of our wedding guests booked cabins. Inside of 30 days of our wedding, they called and told us the clubhouse would not be available due to renovations and we could now host our wedding at the pool. As my now husband stepped in and patiently tried to work things out with Faith, she was extremely un-empathetic and not at all concerned that she was affecting a bride inside of 30 days prior to the wedding day and all the planning, details, and expense that goes into that special day. We asked if she would close the pool down for 1-2 hours while our guests ate dinner, so they did not have the experience of a neighborhood pool scene at our rehearsal dinner. Faith would only do it if we agreed to pay an additional cost! They were inconveniencing us so close to our wedding and asking us to pay more money?? At this point, it was not about the money but the principal. When my husband asked to speak to her manager, Faith said the only one above her was the owner, which we later found to be untrue. We decided to cut our losses and move the rehearsal dinner to our wedding venue for an additional cost to us. When we asked Faith to credit us for the clubhouse, she in turn canceled our room reservations!! We live out of state so this was a huge stressor. They were reinstated the following day by another employee. Upon our arrival, the "clubhouse" was now a restaurant NOT under renovations like we were told. While the concept of Little Arrow is unique, we were disappointed at their lack of consideration for conflict resolution, which was very impactful and stressful to a bride living out of state all inside of 30 days of her dream wedding.

Ronna P.

Yelp
The place look cozy and clean at first glance however it was far from it. I will give the maintenance staff four stars for keeping the place clean. A few things have changed since my visit there they now offer free Wi-Fi supposedly to everyone when I was there it was horrible . But our problem started the day we checked in until the morning we left with raw sewage in front of our cabin there was a backup they tried to fix they did not fix it offered no compensation while we were there. We travel there with our grandchildren and other family . We could not utilize the fire pit or the deck to our cabin because of the sewage smell just in front . I have submitted pictures to them since my last review on TripAdvisor . They their response to all our problems was a 20% refund which is not good enough considering we were not able to use the cabin the way it was supposed to be used. Their response also says that it did not interrupt our stay while we were there that is wrong I wish this place would quit lying and trying to tell me how I felt or my family felt . We could not use another fire pit in the place because we have small children that needed to be in bed and could not leave our cabin because of that reason . We also could not use our deck because of the smell outside we therefore left everyday. Let me be clear that this problem was reported upon check-in and not resolved until after we left . 20% is a start but not enough for the inconvenience .

Yelp
My wife and I rented a tiny home for the weekend so we could attend the Balloon Festival. The tiny home we rented was in peak condition, they come with a fully stocked kitchen (minus food). There are two bedrooms and each bedroom has a private bathroom. If you fish, hike, or just like tubing down the river, you are are within 1,5 miles of everything. We love the Little Arrow Resort and are already making plans for October.

Yelp
We go to Little Arrow at least once a year. They are pet friendly. We stay in different cabins just to see which I like better. The staff is awesome, cleanliness is always great. It's just right outside Cades Cove, Townsend is a great little town. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
I'll start with the good. Great campground amenities and fun for the family. The pool area is beautiful. There are lots of play areas for everyone (playground, basketball, hiking, creek, etc). The bath house is beautiful and kept clean. Unfortunately, the cozy cabin we stayed in was a terrible experience. Between the ants all over the counter top (they attempt to stop with bait traps; unsuccessful), the humidity/mildew inside the cabin (they attempt to stop with a dehumidifier; unsuccessful), the rotted floor boards in the bathroom (felt like the floor was going to drop out), the rotted deck boards with exposed nails, and what looked like mold in the bathroom, we left a day early. This resort classifies itself as "luxury camping" but the cabin was far from it. For the price we paid and what we got, we would have been better off staying on a tent sight and using the bathhouse. I notified the office of the issues, but no one seemed to care. I attempted to call, but no one returned my call. I emailed, but no one returned my email. The owners/management doesn't seem to be customer centered.

Andy C.

Yelp
We booked a long weekend at Little Arrow and it was the nicest campgrounds. The bathrooms are nicer than what most people have in their homes. We had a creek lot which was really peaceful to listen to at night. The coffee was also amazing. WiFi coverage was excellent and there was also cable. We would recommend this campgrounds to everybody. While visiting be sure to get a ribeye at Trailhead Steak and Trout.

Yelp
One of our favorite camping spots, this resort has creekside tubing, fishing, swimming, a very nice pool and cabanas, food trucks, bingo, workshops, coffee bar, gift shop, very close to Cades Cove, the town of Townsend is awesome, gift shops and restaurants nearby, and the campground bathrooms are beautiful and super clean!! Fun place!

Ian Y.

Yelp
The site has been improving and expanding. However it's getting a bit too crowded. Really nice to have deck and fire pit for each tiny house and sites. There was a rat in the tiny house I stayed in however.

Matt F.

Yelp
Great location near it all but far away from the crazies from the north. Obviously not any inexpensive campground but you get what you pay for. We spent a week in one of their tiny homes and hiked the area. The tiny home had everything unlike other places that say they do this one really does. The tiny homes are well insulated so no noise from your neighbors when sleeping. When we were whipped from the treacherous terrain we could return to this area and eat dinner without a wait. My only complaint is the WiFi. We didn't have a cell signal here so we were reliant on WiFi which is great in the cafe but not always everywhere else. It wasn't terrible. A cell booster or cellular to WiFi would do wonders for the visitors. Great job and can't wait to see the renovations next time we visit. Thank you all!

Yelp
My fiancé and I booked a cozy cabin very last minute. We absolutely loved our stay- the appliances in the cabin were superb, the cabin was perfectly stocked with all kitchen items you might need, the shower pressure was amazing, and to top it all off, the cabin was decorated so cute. Also, the community was great! Thank you for such an unforgettable stay!

Yelp
This family run campground is Amazing. From tent sites to glamping tents and tiny homes to a 4 bedroom river view house with a hot tub and game room. WOW. Clean. Top end amenities. We will be back!!!!!

K L.

Yelp
Be ready to be spoiled for all future campground stays! It seems weird to call Little Arrow a "campground" per se, as while there are spots for RVs and tent camping, there are plenty of sleep tiny homes with fire pits and other glamping options. There's even a pair of Airstreams, one of which my husband and I slept in on our most recent stay. The owners are delightful, the place is clean as can be, and the shared bathroom facilities look like they're straight out of a spa. There's a pool that's open in warmer months, a store with firewood and other amenities, and a little coffee area cafe/nook that you can use long after the office is closed. Plus, river access and playgrounds and teepees for the kids. Little Arrow also abuts the entrance to the park, so you can't beat the location. 10/10 would recommend to all families, couples or solo travelers.

Karla B.

Yelp
Absolutely Amazing! My husband and I have been camping for 40 years...tent, pop up camper and now a travel trailer. This family owed campground has recently been renovated with many upgrades. The family and staff members were pleasant and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Awesome amenities, great coffee bar and really nice grounds. Only real downside for our family would be how poor the wifi quality was. If you weren't sitting inside the main building, it was non existent. I know it's camping, but we stream all of our entertainment and also need to work on the go. Considering the website boasted best WiFi in the area, was extremely disappointed. Very nice property though.

Brandon L.

Yelp
Star Rating! Staff LIES for a power trip! Don't waste your time or money! Camp somewhere else! The campground has a nice layout, clean bathrooms, nice pool, etc. However, their staff is awful! We were placed in a campsite with a large dead tree, one of the big branches ended up falling on top of my dad's truck. He went up to the front desk and explained what happened to Sheri, the owners daughter. She sent her husband, Chad, to come ''trim the tree''. Haha. The tree did not need trimmed, it trimmed itself - on our car, thankfully it did not hit any of us, including my 10 month old daughter. Chad had a bad attitude from the start. My father tried to explain that he'd like an incident report to give to his car insurance for damages, but Chad was more focused on trimming a tree than actually assisting with the issue at hand. The next morning a cop arrived at our campsite, claiming that my father was verbally abusive to their staff. This was a straight up LIE! I was standing right there while my dad spoke with Chad, so was my wife, daughter, and step mom. My father did NOT swear, and did NOT verbally attack anyone! Even though we were leaving that afternoon regardless, the officer told us we had to pack up within the hour. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism in my life. I will never be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone! Who knows, they could falsely accuse you of something, too.

Yelp
Read read their policy , I reserved an extended weekend and they took deposit $ for down payment . We canceled less then five days( 4)due to motorhome not starting so they charged me the whole price. (Even before reserve dates)Not only are we set with a repair bill but also total charge for a campsite we didn't use. I thought I would just lose the deposit $ amount. Beware if you cancel even from unseen circumstances they will make you pay.

Yelp
Just had the BEST 3 day mini vacation at LIttle Arrow Outdoor Resort. This place is to the mountains what Kiawah Island Resort is to the ocean.

Yelp
Bait & Switch Upon arrival the two people manning the front desk seemed very disorganized. When it was our turn to check in the reserved rooms were not available and the hotel was booked for the weekend. Without having any other options we had to take the non-renovated rooms that were offered. The front desk person wanted us to know that we would get a much better deal, I found the price still steep and negotiated another $15,- a night less. The rooms were old and musty smelling. So bad the manager came running with air fresheners for each of the rooms. In the room the coffee maker was not working, hair dryer missing, no decent lock on the doors. Just bad. At checkout the discount was only applied to one night on one room. The clerk at check out claimed he couldn't help with that and we would get a call about it. Never happened. Do yourself a favor and find a decent place. Don't believe the pretty pictures on-line. The place is a dump and they overcharge. Over 100 a night for bad rooms. I've had better rooms at the Red Roof in for 59.99 a night! The renovated rooms may be nice, I don't know but the disorganization, lying and not being able to honor a reservation are enough reasons not to spend your hard earned money here!

Yelp
When I first wrote the review I gave it three stars but since the front desk is just too disorganized and understaffed I took it down a star. Starting with the positive. Room is newly remodeled and has been furnished with high end furnishings. Everything had been remodeled except the bathroom which was just cosmetically spruced up. New sinks and counters would be a nice touch to match the furnishings. Room was very quiet and bed was very comfortable. Now the problems. Called two times to find out checkout time and got voice mail. I had to physically go to front desk to find out checkout time since could not find checkout info anywhere in room or on site map. There are no phones in the room. After checkout And three hours down the road I was called and vm left stating reservation person did not run card through system and needed credit card info. Called back 45 minutes later and was told all was good and it was worked out. The next day I was called again and told they needed credit card info and credit card info was given. Hopefully it has been resolved finally. I believe the error was due to understaffing of the front desk and the small staff doing too many tasks. Hopefully this can be improved for a higher review but is not a positive experience for the customer and a real inconvenience.

Yelp
This is a great place to camp. Other reviews, same reviewer, are about the cabins, only a small part of their business. Medium size campsites along a creek very near Cade's Cove. Well kept, clean and organized. Plan to return!

Yelp
Love the mountains but this trip was planned during the wildfires.... never did we ever expect the fires to be so bad. Our cabin was cute... but the lighting was terrible! When it got dark outside you were in the dark inside! Shower curtain and window curtains were unbelievably dated! Recliner was torn up on the side. It was an ok place if you were a honeymooning couple but defiantly not for a family. People do not pick up dog poo, my son was playing and got it all over him. Laundromat was clean and nice but no coin machine or soap despisers. Oh and when we left 3 days early because the fires that had burned most of gatlinburg there was no refund, no rain check for a later date or anything....

Yelp
If you expect to have a good time I would not advise staying at this place. First of all I called to check the place out before we made our reservation, to find out if we needed to bring our grill or if they had one we could use. The lady on the phone told me each campsite had a grill. "All you need to bring is the charcoal!" She informed me. So we decided it seemed like a nice place and we packed up the car and left. Only to discover that what she called a grill was actually a hole in the ground, and you have to pay $18 for the rack that fits over top of it. Had that been the only problem I wouldn't be writing this review, however it was merely the beginning of what was to come. The following day we invited a few friend over to stay the next night with us. Well when they arrived they were told they were going to have to pay full price to stay with us on our campsite which is about 15 square feet at most. So when I tried to come to a compromise the owner told me if I had a problem with it I could just leave and go somewhere else. Not a very nice woman at all.. So we then decided we would go down to river in front of the campground, not a good experience there either. Access is virtually impossible, but we decided we would do it anyway. Only to discover a very trashy mess. There was litter every where and it smelled a lot like raw sewage. No way we were gonna get in that water!! After that we decided we would just go to the pool. Hoping that something at this campground would finally work out. NOPE!! The pool was closed until the following day for "cleaning purposes". The trip was all around disappointing, and don't expect a refund because the owner simply refuses.

Yelp
I was disappointed with the customer service I experienced here at Tremont Lodge. When I arrived I had reserved a room. Tremont did not have a room for us nor did they have a room for some friends who reserved a room the following night. During our stay our room was never cleaned. When asked for clean towels we never received them. I left my contact information for the manager to call she never called. I sent an email to her several weeks later and she has yet to reply. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I did not feel welcomed nor did I ever get an apology from the management. I would not recommend this lodge.

Yelp
Stayed here in October 2015, When we arrived we were sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned. Was sent to a 2nd Room and it wasn't cleaned either. Sent to a third Room and the Key wouldn't work. Finally given a 4th room that was at least cleaned and the key worked. This took over an hour. On day 1 we asked at the front desk to have our initial room cleaned which we were promised by the front desk person and the owner who was also there. Upon coming back at the end of the day (spent the whole day in the National Park) We were sent to the original room (which they promised to clean) and it was still not cleaned. They gave us another room which seemed to be acceptable. One Day 2 we were again gone all day into the National Park and upon arrival in the evening, I had to lie down to sleep off an headache. My wife was going back and forth to the car and got locked out of the room for over an hour. One Day 3 we got locked out again. One Day 4 we got locked out again. One Day 5 same thing we got locked out.. We were locked out of our room each and every day. Each time took 30-45 minutes for maintenance to finally get us in. After each experience the Front Desk and the Owner promised to adjust our bill to reflect the difficulty we had. But they never did adjust our bill. After we got home we made multiple attempts via email and direct phone calls to get the adjustment that the owner and manager promised. They never adjusted our bill per their promise. I would never stay there again and if you do don't ever believe what they tell you if they promise you something.
