Good food, especially the bao and chips meal. Will come again. I suggest the fried tofu can come solely with dipping of lee kum kee sweet sauce, guilin style chilli sauce and sweet soy sauce as a separate side. Just like famous “stinky tofu" in Hong Kong but skipping the strong smell, but simply make it more crispy outside, and soft with soya taste inside. Twinkle with salt and pepper.

Finally got to try Little Bao Boy at the St Albans Foodies Festival, and it hit the spot. I went with the beef brisket teriyaki bao, and it was delicious. The beef was perfectly cooked, tender, and with the right amount of teriyaki sauce. The bao itself was soft and fluffy, and the combo of sauce and pickled cucumber was perfect. I was a little disappointed they were out of crispy onions - that extra crunch would’ve been a nice touch. The only downside - they didn’t allow me to get two different bao buns, and the portion size felt a bit smaller than what I'd seen on social media and reviews. I'm excited to check out more of their menu at their new London location soon

It's a great place for a quick lunch near Leeds Station. I like that there is outside seating. I only wish I could order drinks and food together. There are quite a few German draft beers on offer.

Food slapped. Loved the aubergine bao and the salt & pepper (salted chilli if you're cultured) fries especially. Katsu curry sauce is nice too. Had the Belfast porter as well and it was greattt. Will definitely be back! (Also we walked past another time at night and it seemed fun & lively)

I got this from the Stockport Deliveroo little Bao Boy. Posting here so somebody sees the state of this. I can’t believe I actually paid for this ‘pulled mushroom bao’. Never again. The mushroom was rock hard and inedible so I paid about £8 for a bao bun and mayonnaise. Disgraceful.

Walked passed this artisan ale bar and bao bun vendor combo on the way to our hotel and immediately said we'd check in and come back for a quick bite to eat. Wasn't disappointed in the slightest! Amazing, quick and fresh food (bao buns and gyozas) cooked to order. Whilst you could easily pig out in this place, what we had set us up nicely as a mid-afternoon bit of eating before the evenings festivities! Char sui bao bun was delicious, as was the beef brisket bao! Messy, but in a good way, and didn't feel like everything simply "slopped" out, more fell out due to being well stuffed. The chicken gyozas were undoubtedly the star, crispy and well sauced, we ended up ordering a second round they were so morish!

This is the second time here. Placed our order to be told there was no gravy so the gravy ones were changed to Katsu curry ones. When the order arrived 2 orders were wrong, we basically ended up with one aubergine, one gyoza and the rest colonels. We went and told the girl who would have none of this saying we didn’t order the Katsu ones and if we wanted them we had to pay extra. I’m surprised at her attitude, totally no customer service and to be honest rudeness. Such a shame to have someone ruining a normally good place. Considering we spent nearly £60 for food we didn’t order.

This is my 1st time ordering from Little Bao Boy in Merton. The Vegetarian Gyozas are the best-tasting dimplings I ever had in my life. The Baos buns are battered cauliflower and chilli salt tofu. These taste and are flavoured very good well and seasoned but hot with pepper🌶. Saving for last, the loaded fries, they have given a different twist where they have added breaded/fried tofu on top of the loaded fries which gives it a unique flavour yet again very hot and spicy which I love!
