We really enjoyed this hostel. When they tell you it is right in the middle of everything, believe it. Old town is very lively at night - like there is music until the wee hours of the morning. We were travelers in our 50s, 60s and 70s so we booked a couple of private rooms with their own baths. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff with whom we interacted were terrific. We loved being in walking distance of museums and other tourist attractions.

I booked into this place for one night and ended up staying two weeks. I love it. Their location is superb, in the old town by the National Bank, but it can get noisy at weekends with the constant street parties. It consists of two old buildings that have been renovated. One of them has a rooftop bar. I have no problem sharing a room with others as it's a good way to meet people and enjoy communal living. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but fine. The best thing about this place is the Romanian staff, all of whom are so friendly and helpful. They enjoy helping foreigners and are genuinely warm. Some of the foreign volunteers who work the night shift, and get paid with free accommodation, are not so warm and friendly, but I like the Ukranian artist Dude.

Top location and great view on Old Town. Even it was very close to the partymile, it was very calm. Great staff and clean rooms/facilities. You will love the view from the rooms! Ideal for single travellers or groups. My steady address from now on if I ever go to Bucharest again.

First, the highlights:|Very helpful staff. They were attentive, so so kind, and went the extra mile on many occasions, even offered chocolate and tea.|Bar next to reception area so you can order a drink and hangout. |Free WiFi.|Nice hub for relaxing. |Gorgeous views from every window.||Bummer points:|The toilets are in need of repair. One was even missing a lock on the door. Water pressure and plumbing wasn’t great in a few of the showers. |Room was cold at night, beds were creaky. |Several lockers were either missing keys or didn’t open, which was fixed during my stay.|Windows could be sound proofed to block the street noise.|Too many tables in the hub. I recommend more lounge chairs for relaxing instead.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, they are the best thing about this place. The hostel itself is quiet and clean and the beds are comfortable. Only problems I found was that large numbers of guests share 1 shower on third floor and there were limited dishes and cutlery in the kitchen. The spiral stairs up to the hostel are also slippery and dangerous. A doormat would be a great investment.

Great hostel, great staff. It is in the middle of the Old Town, very, very close to all the cafe's, bars, clubs, restaurants, historical monuments, Parliament palace, next to most of the touristic objectives I believe.

Great hospitality! The hostel workers I encountered had great willingness to help make my and other guests vacations better by showing us where free parking is, by taking us to nearby banks to exchange money, by taking me and my roommates to where the Old Town Bucharest tour starts. A cozy reading room. A restaurant and bar in the hostile. Great for social gatherings, and partiers. It is party central! If you want a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, stay somewhere else.

Seems like a nice place but I was there only for a short meeting. The atmosphere was cozy, the room was nice but the bar lacked refreshments. It's ok for a small meeting if you want to organize one. A nice bonus is looking out the window with view directly to National bank of Romania and old town
