Unforgettable memories at Little Corn Island! This hidden gem boasts stunning turquoise waters, a peaceful atmosphere, and a charmingly simple way of life—no cars, just bicycles and a handful of local bars. If you’re looking for a true escape from city noise, this is the place to be.
We stayed at Yemaya Reefs Resort, and I highly recommend it. Nestled on the quieter side of the island, it offers a private beach, a great bar and restaurant with a local farmer produce, a lush gardens perfect for a stroll, and a serene ambiance, and WiFi is provided. The resort provides yoga classes (which must be booked in advance) and has paddleboards and kayaks available on a first-come, first-served basis. You arrive at the Corn Island airport, take a taxi which cost about $5 to take you to the shore. From there the resort send their yacht to pick you up. Locals will offer to take you for a lower price but I don’t recommend.
For those looking to explore, a water taxi can be reserved in advance to take you around the island. You’ll find a small scuba training center and gear rental, with better rates if you’re already certified. The service at the resort is excellent, making it an ideal getaway for relaxation and adventure.
