Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop

We stopped in on our way through Kelowna - Little Hobo is an absolute joy! Everything is homemade and delicious, we did a burger with fries and sandwich with soup combo - servings are generous!! Super lovely people, Crystal the owner was very welcoming :) We also purchased some of their frozen soups, 3 for $33 and are very excited to take home. Many good choices for hot and cold sandwiches, it was hard to choose and everything was wonderful. We will be back again!

My boyfriend and I stopped by for lunch, and wow, this place never fails to disappoint. I ordered the French Onion Grilled Cheese with Tomato Basil Soup, and he got the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. First of all, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I don’t think either of us could ever get tired of eating here, especially with how many different choices are on the menu. The staff were very welcoming, and service was excellent. Everything about the experience was a real hit, and it’s definitely gonna become a regular lunch spot for us. If you haven’t tried Little Hobo yet, you’re definitely missing out. (Attached is a photo, but trust me, you gotta taste it to really understand). Definitely one of Kelowna’s hidden gems.

This is a classic lunch stop in Kelowna. Crystal and her team are fantastic. She remembers my name and I go months without seeing her. They have alternating soups of the day. They also offer soup flights. She usually serves 4 types of soup and a sandwich feature and a lunch special. I love the veggie sandwich. She also has a lot of options for dietary restrictions and many gluten free options. It’s a nice warm place to feel important and have the most delicious lunch. Be sure to try her classic hobo soup. You can also purchase large format soups to go that are frozen to be enjoyed at home. Great value and comfort food!

Came here the other day with my mom for the first time and it was amazing. Great prices, great food, lovely people. Definitely will be coming back! :)

Had an amazing experience at Little Hobo. Their soup flights are a delicious way to try a few different things. Homemade fries and gravy were hot and fresh. They even gave me a gift as I’m expecting a baby in a couple weeks - the kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed. Can’t wait to come back - thanks again!!

Been here a few times while staying in town and this place gets it right every time. The food is great and the staff are super nice. On our most recent trip, we got there slightly before noon and beat the lunch time rush. People love their sandwiches!! We ordered both a BLT and ALTC and they were both delicious. Soups never disappoint either. We got a side of the Mexican chicken and it was a nicely balanced flavourful soup. We also ordered a side Quinoa salad. I dont think you can go wrong here.

Great service! The staff is very welcoming and helpful! The chillie burger is tasty, I especially love the fries that they make themselves.

I took my child (1yrs old) for lunch and had the best experience we’ve had at a restaurant yet. We got a free bowl of soup (immediately at the table) for my daughter which came with a ramekin of ice to cool it down. This kept her busy as we waited for our amazing meals. They were not only very welcoming and accommodating to us but so were the other patrons! To add to this amazing meal and experience they sent us home with a free frozen soup! Exquisite! Highly recommend.
