We left the Tiki bar below the limon because one of the bar-maid was rude and im pretty sure she hates her job. So we headed up to little limon.. stopped at the hostess desk and she said she didnt no if happyhour was happening she was gonna need to go up and find out. The sign clearly said that happy hour started at 3 o’clock and it was 3:19 but whatever the girl dosent know her job. We waited she came back and said yes it was( No kidding the sign that was posted said that it was) we went up and was seated at the bar. We waited 10 minutes and the bartender told us best she could to please wait that she had other customers. At this time there was only my girlfriend myself and 1 another couple ( thats a total of 4!!!) We all waited for 15 min then the bar-maid finally got the other couple their drinks (they were there 1st so rightfully so ) by that time now there was a family up there and three more couples plus us. The waitress was taking everyones orders and came up to us and took our order.( heres the bar-maid? We are sitting at the bar!!!!!) My girlfriend got a margarita and I got a rum and Coke. you could tell that the bartender was having a very difficult time and we’re pretty sure it’s because she did not understand English and possibly this is her very first day on the job and first time bartending . The waitress spoke English even though her name tag said she was from Poland atleast She understood what we were saying. She never came back with our drinks ?!? Then the Bar maid appeared came over asked best she could if we were gonna eat. We asked where are drinks were? She walked away went around the wooden corner and was talking with the waitress. We now have been there a totle of 47 min and my girlfriend said “ we’re not suppose to be here this is a sign we need to leave. So we left and went down the road to Wahoos seafood bar and grill. Walked in was greeted sat down at the bar The place was packed and we immediately got our drinks. our Food order was taken and in less than 15 minutes. We were on our second drinks and had our food in front of us. again Wahoos was extremely busy and they made it happen. Good employees are just hard to find and I do understand that but thats no excuse to hire horrible people. The view was beautiful from little limon deck though and they had a nice selection of tequilas so ill give them props on that.

I recently visited little limon Rooftop Restaurant, and while the atmosphere was undeniably charming, the experience was a bit mixed overall. The view from the deck is absolutely stunning — the kind of skyline backdrop that makes any evening feel special. Since it’s currently the off-season, the restaurant was running on limited service, which was noticeable. The staff on duty were friendly. The menu itself was quite small — just a single double-sided page. One side featured an impressive cocktail list with around 10 to 20 creative drinks, while the other side offered about 10 to 20 meal options. While that’s not tiny, it felt like there weren’t a lot of diverse choices, especially if you’re a picky eater or looking for something specific. If you’re going for the views and a good cocktail, it’s a great spot. Just don’t expect a huge menu or fast-paced service this time of year.

Great food, friendly service, and beautiful views. Food was a little pricier than it should be but we enjoyed our experience!

Lovely place and great view! Staff very friendly. I had the shrimp civeche, unfortunately not the tastiest, very bland. Please try a little harder, you’re new and you’ve got a great spot at the resort.

I expected more about this place. They are selling the tower in $65 but it’s not that appears in the picture. Not a good quality compared with the price 🧐

Yelp
This adventure was a very pleasant twist in checking out what we thought would be the Tiki Hut that was famous back in Holiday Isle days. I hadn't been to this spot in over 10 years and wow, stuff changed. Little Limon recently opened on October 3rd. Islamorada is the perfect halfway point to unwind on road trips to and from Key West. They added a second floor from the original Tiki Hut which gives you the most peaceful and serene ocean view, perfect with an exotic brew. I went with Toña Cerveza, a smooth Nicaraguan beer that goes great in the sun. We tried the El Patrona Tower -- an elegantly presented mix of oysters, shrimp, and crab claws with cocktail, tartar and a chopped onion sauce. This was a delicious experience to conclude the weekend vaca.

Yelp
Waited TWO HOURS and finally the hostess brought our food. The restaurant was almost empty and no one around us was getting food either. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT

Yelp
Food was delicious! Karina made the most delicious mojitos and was very helpful talking us through the menu.

Yelp
Good spot for some small meals. More of an apps type spot. Great beachfront view. Friendly service.
