I was recommended to try this place, and I really enjoyed it. I had a v60 pour over with the house blend beans and it was lovely, rich and flavourful but not at all bitter. I also had a delicious bacon bap with a lovely soft seeded bap. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor here, a great mix of comfortable arm chairs, industrial furniture and what looks like church pews. Brilliant. Everyone was so helpful and I was offered a choice of v60, cafetiere, or aeropress. I have walked past this café many times, I just wish I'd walked in sooner. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, everything was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was super chill. Good prices as well. If we lived in Cardiff, we’d be regulars!! 💛

The only vegan food they had was some carrot cake (and I grabbed the last slice…!) I wish they’d offer more vegan options. The space itself is very nice and cozy, good music but not too loud.

Love this spot for GOOD coffee and cute small bites. Refreshingly independent in the sea of the center’s chains, great value, lovely atmosphere and vibe. Plus my kids’ favorite hot chocolate (with whipped cream). Long live little man!

I recently visited this café which not only served a variety of breakfast and brunch options but also offered what I can confidently say was the best coffee I had during my time in Cardiff. I opted for a black Americano, but it was clear they took their coffee seriously, with an evident dedication to quality that shone through in every sip. The beans were expertly brewed, resulting in a rich, well-balanced flavour profile that highlighted the nuances of the coffee without being overshadowed by bitterness. It’s refreshing to find a place that genuinely cares about the craft of coffee-making. The atmosphere of the café complemented the experience beautifully. With its vintage chairs, wall-mounted artwork that added an artistic touch, and an overall relaxed décor, the space had a distinct hipster vibe that made it inviting. It’s the perfect setting for enjoying a good coffee, whether you’re looking to engage in conversation with friends or simply unwind with a book. If you’re in Cardiff and searching for a place that values quality coffee in a charming environment, this café is definitely worth a visit.

Service was good, it’s a nice little cafe - some comfy seating. I didn’t eat, cakes looked nice though. However, the cappuccino was horrible - just learn to make a decent cappacino and you’d have a great cafe. Mine was just a milky coffee.

Nice concept in an up and coming location. Food was pretty good and prices reasonable for city centre location. Staff could have been more attentive and professional - no spoon with coffee, not much engagement when placing order and all stood around chatting when we left and called thanks. A bit more attention to detail would really make a difference.

Update for December 2023: Possibly my favourite cafe anywhere. Coffee is great, staff are phenomenal and so friendly, and it is just such a chilled out spot. I love that they stock so many coffees from a huge variety of different welsh coffee roasters, and can even enjoy this selection at home now with the new coffee box delivery Little Man do. I have so much love for Team Little Man - thank you all! :) Original post: My favourite cafe in Cardiff. Coffee is fantastic, food is delicious, and they cater to veggie and vegan too which is good for our friends. Always vigilant and helpful with my allergies - can't fault them. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is chilled and happy. Not too pretentious, and doing their bit for the community. Also dog friendly, and they even deliver coffee or alt milks to your door! 6/5 stars if I could!

Yelp
Cardiff seems to have a good scene for independent coffee shops and this one is no exception. A comfortable, friendly coffee shop with a surprising amount of (quirky) seating and big bright windows. I went straight for their own cold brew coffee (that comes in a lovely little bottle) which was excellent, nice and mellow, leaving me refreshed and suitably caffeinated. I'd expect the hot drinks match the quality. I wish I'd had a little more time to be able to settle in or go back, seems a good place to set up for a few hours, and when I left I wished I could take it back home with me to do just that! I suspect that if I had more of a chance to try everything they have this would get 5 stars.

Yelp
Cardiff is very quickly becoming my favourite city to discover new coffee. With the very new Little Man Coffee co it is easy to see why. Just being open around 4 months, the place was recommended to me by my Cardiff friends, and was an ideal place for our large group to meet on a Saturday afternoon. The shop located on a corner with massive windows providing a good place to people watch and enjoy views outside. It is very minimalistic yet very spacious with a large array of vintage furniture which gives it an "established" feel despite being a young coffee shop. I was very impressed with that Little Man are very proud to feature at least two roasters at all times. This day I had a soy latte using coaltown espresso blend and a v60 using the wonderful James Gourmet Coffee from the very knowledgeable staff. I saw Aeropress, Chemex and V60 on offer.. I didn't get a chance to peak at the cakes or if they had a menu but I was very curious to see how they can use this huge space for events in future. Such a great Coffee shop with much potential!

Yelp
A hidden gem among Cardiff's abundance of chain restaurants. They're truly committed to serve you an excellent cup of coffee. That's good reason enough, but it's also a great artist's hub. Something much needed in Cardiff.

Yelp
I had some cold brewed coffee here which was pretty good. Actually I bought a small bottle to take home too but it must've been really good. They were super helpful in making me something new to try and it was real good and a good price. Looked pretty cool inside but no one was in there sadly. Really want to visit Cardiff again soon so I can buy another bottle!

Yelp
My favourite place to get coffee in Cardiff! They clearly care about their coffee. Staff are lovely, and not pretentious. Decor is very cosy with tables for groups or comfy armchairs for solo coffee sippers. Music is good, usually a bit old-school, and at a very respectful volume. They have a nice little selection of cakes and biscuits, as well a savoury menu (including smashed avocado on toast). They have a range of teas too. I love coming here for my morning coffee - makes me feel like I could be back home in Melbourne (but with the delicious addition of Welsh cakes)!

Yelp
This is a great place to meet friends or get work done. They serve great coffee and have early and late hours. There hold quite a lot of events so be prepared for that but who knows, maybe you'll want to join in!

Yelp
Very cute. Great atmosphere. Delicious lattes, both hot and iced. Very close to where I was working, so it's so easy to pop out and grab some coffee. The walnut cake was so good, I didn't even feel guilty about breaking my diet. The staff was friendly and helpful, even when it was busy.
