Little Missouri Inn & Suites New Town

We arrived an half hour before check-in and Mindy from desk welcomed us with a genuine smile and after explaining that our room was still currently being cleaned went upstairs personally and checked with the housekeeper. The housekeeper was just finishing and told her that she would make sure it was finished by the time we completed check in and paperwork. The hotel was so quiet and pleasant. The next morning Mindy was at the desk and greeted us as we were leaving breakfast area, she greeted us so warmly and asked about how we enjoyed our concert that acknowledged that made us feel like we weren't just customers that she made polite conversation with then forgot about. As we were heading back to the room she was greeting another customer in the same genuine personable way not some scripted customer service way.

Our stay was from 7/1-6/2025. The room was clean and most employees helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Hotels.com does not mention this. Next to Little Missouri is Teddy's lodge & restaurant. The staff is shared with Teddy's. Laundry facilities are at Teddy's. We had a non-working Keurig coffee maker. Told management about this on day 2 - on day 5 we rec'd a new coffee maker after several complaints. The walk-in shower was beautiful - however - absolutely no grab bars. Safety features are not a consideration. We were told the room would be cleaned (trash, towels, etc) every 2 days- on the 3rd day we asked for clean towels and questioned having the room refreshed. We were told we had to request this and then we would be put on a cleaning list which we did but still the cleaning was not done as we didn't appear on the list! |I canceled our reservation at another hotel without a pool. ($86 per night vs $126 per night). I called before booking this hotel and was told YES they have a pool. They do have a pool but it has not been working for 2 yrs and repair costs are too expensive! So closed for maintenance is permanent! We were obviously very disappointed and did not feel we got what we paid for.|I would suggest they offer fewer rooms in both Little Missouri and Teddy's so the limited staff is able to service both.|We would not stay here again nor would we recommend this to anyone else. Just normal expectations were not met - We have stayed in several hotels the last few years - all undergoing some form of renovations and never experienced this.

What truly made our experience stand out, though, was the exceptional service we received from Mindy at the front desk. We ran into some issues with our reservation, and she went above and beyond to help us get checked in smoothly. She was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared that we were taken care of. She made sure we had everything we needed and really turned a potentially stressful situation into a great experience. Mindy is a true asset to the team – she absolutely deserves a raise! Christian helped me with my television. He was very knowledgeable and patient. However, the front desk receptionist this morning did not care that there were no plates or real coffee (just decaf), nor did she try to call someone to make more coffee. Really?Minus a star. Very disappointed about breakfast.

We originally booked a room at The Teddy, specifically one with a full kitchen. However, upon check-in, we were unexpectedly placed at the Little Missouri Hotel instead, without any explanation or acknowledgment of the change. During our three-night stay, we received NO housekeeping services at all. One of the beds appeared unmade when we arrived, and the bathroom was clearly not properly cleaned. Fortunately, we had brought our own cleaning supplies, which made the situation manageable but certainly not acceptable. The front desk service was unremarkable and not particularly helpful, and the breakfast offerings were mediocre at best. This was my first visit to the property, and overall, the experience was disappointing. I expected more professionalism and basic hospitality standards. If you’re simply passing through and just need a bed and a shower, this place will suit you fine. But if you’re in town for work or expecting a higher standard of service, you’d be better off finding accommodations elsewhere. For the price we paid, the lack of cleanliness and service was unacceptable.

This place is terrible! 1 of the worst hotels I’ve ever been to. They quit serving breakfast early & cut off 9 customers from eating breakfast. When confronted about it, by several customers, they were very rude! During breakfast, garbage was piling up and they didn’t clean any of it! In the room, my daughter was staying in the TV didn’t even work & in our room the TV was on the verge of going out with all kinds of spotted lights on the screen. Read a majority of the reviews. They are terrible about this place. Don’t stay here!

Hotel employee "Mindy" was busier than a one-armed paper hanger, yet she remained professional, courteous and helpful. Near as we could tell, she manned the front desk, interacted with customers, took care of the breakfast area, and just about anything else that required human interaction. More Mindy's ... please.

Nice motel, but it is slowly falling apart, it’s sad to have to watch the employees have to work around outdated machines. The office chair in my room was completely destroyed when I arrived but the employee Mindy was kind enough to find one to exchange it out with. The employees at this place make the motel worth staying at. The breakfast has been under served every morning leaving anyone that shows up later then 6am SOL, I gave a 50$ for incidentals and it’s been over a month and it was still not been returned to my account. But not once not twice but 3 times. The picture I took is the stair case going to the 2nd floor, but this sums up the operation going on here soon enough this motel will be run down and dragged out because the owners want to suck every penny they can out of the establishment, bringing the whole program down with them.

The hotel purposely drains the pools and puts a sign up claiming they have issues. I know its purposely done because we went to 4 of their properties. 2 in new town and 2 in watford city. The zlittle Missouri and Teddy's Residential Suites are owned by the same company. Requested room to be cleaned and all they did was bring us towels. We've been here a week and going into our second week due to work not by choice.

Best place to stay in new town.. even better place to take a dump and spend the night. Would definitely dump here again.

dirty! when we first checked in i told the help the light was out in the bathroom get back to the room after our event. light still out. watching Tv. the Tv shuts off. call front desk. I will let maintenance know tomorrow! tv broke. no other room to check into. pool out of order elevator out of order don't stay here if you can avoid it

This was my first time staying here, my daughter and I were in town for a funeral. We arrived around 1am from an 11 hour drive from Denver, so naturally we were exhausted. We experienced several mishaps: First the key card to our room on the second floor didn't work, I had to return to the front desk to get them reactivated. When we finally got into the room it's natural for me to check the entire room for cleanliness, The bathroom had hair in the sink and shower, the bedding was wrinkled and had drug Paraphernalia laying next to the bed! So we return to the front desk and the gal guided us to another room. Which clearly was still in use or had not been cleaned yet, So she return to the front desk while we waited and were taken a third room. under a properly made bed was blood on the sheets and curtains and bathroom was not clean. Finally our fourth room, was better other than chips under the bed and a knife in the nightstand next to the bible. By this time I'm frustrated and didn't have a good and restful feeling. But in the middle of the night in 25° degree weather, we have no other choice. thankfully we brought our own pillows and blankets! Needless to say I doubt we will ever be staying here again!

This place came highly recommended. I liked the vibe, the breakfast was your typical free breakfast. Nothing overly fancy. The pool and hot tub look clean, and well maintained. The room has spots of dirt on the walls, and wine stains on the carpet. But it's a comfortable room. The staff was kind, and helpful.

Perfect. After an incredibly long day and on the brink of a mental breakdown-- I arrived here and was greeted by the friendliest front desk gentleman I've ever encountered. The hotel was warm and welcoming. I was blown away at how perfect my room was. The bed was just right. The decor up to date and homey. If this were a chain I would never go anywhere else. The price was better than the chain I usually stay at. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

Excellent place to stay. Breakfast was amazing every day. Each day the room was impeccable. The room was pretty quiet throughout the night. I figured oil workers would be in and out through the night. If they were, I didn't hear anything. If I need to go back to new town, this is the spot to be.

This hotel is nice but employees are horrible I stayed here a few days and house keeping walked in our room around 7pm at night claiming to need to give us more towels they did knock but I didn't even have time to get off of my bed before she had walked in they had placed our toothbrushes bristle to bristle and I share rooms with employees not family this wouldn't be a big deal but we specifically chose opposite sides of the sink to prevent gross things like this from happening and they moved everything to one side to preserve the way they put the soap on the counter after realizing this I had noticed that a housekeeper vacuumed my charging cable up so the micro USB on the end was broken and again not a huge deal but for hundreds of dollars a night I expect more then a nice tv after all this being said the regular employees just forget that a hotel isn't about how things were told to get done and more about the people who are paying to stay there when I left on my final day I had noticed when packing up that again the housekeeping had gone trough some games I had brought along for my game console nothing was stolen but it sure makes me wonder why the employees are going through my things worst employees ever I cannot believe how much money was given to this hotel for them to just disrespect my personal belongings all the while just being terrible at their jobs I was walked into as a guy was too busy to look up from his text to not just run right into me I literally had to stiff arm him away all these things just make me sick that they got thousands of dollars for my horrible stay there..... But all that said the hotel itself isn't bad we had a lot of internet connection issues and for hundreds of dollars not acceptable I would recommend anyone to ANY OTHER HOTEL due to service
