"Pick Your Catch Going to dinner at Little Ochie is as fun as it is delicious.Pick yourdinner—from a cooler of freshly caught fish—by speciesand by weight, then pickthe stylein which you'd like it cooked:jerk, grilled, escoveitch, and more. Pick a side of bammy,a thick round of cassava bread, to go with it. Your next decision is where to eat—head outside andchoose a picnic table under one of the thatched huts carved in the shape of a fisherman's canoe. The combination of beachy atmosphere and great fish makes this relaxed yet lively slice of Jamaica well worth the hour-long drive from Treasure Beach."

If you’re touring Jamaica—whether you’re a first-time visitor or returning home—do yourself a favor: explore beyond your hometown. There’s so much magic waiting on the other side of the island. One place that truly left its mark on me was Little Ochie. This wasn’t just a meal—it was a whole experience. From the moment I stepped onto the black sand beach, I felt something different. Peaceful. Real. Authentic Jamaica. 🎣 Picking out your own fresh catch—whether it’s fish, lobster, or shrimp—and having it cooked just the way you like it? That’s next-level dining. I had mine with bammy, festival, and a cold D&G “Sorrel Beer” to top it off. Pure island flavor from start to finish. 💛 Our host Beverly made it even better. She was kind, patient, down-to-earth, and made us feel like family. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in how she treats guests. ✨ If you’re looking for something truly Jamaican—not touristy, not watered down, just the real deal—Little Ochie delivers. Great food, great people, and unforgettable vibes. 📍 Add it to your must-visit list. Trust me—you won’t regret it.

let me save you the drive. this place is totally run down. it looks like it was hit by a massive hurricane and was never repaired. as you enter the place, it is filled with smoke from the kitchen and its dark and there’s no sense of order. theres trash all along the beach and just feels sad. the bathroom experience , i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. oh the food- came fast but over priced and not worth the money.

Food was amazing. Our server Karen was great the other servers to the people in our party were terrible. So it's hit and miss for service and the Food took a while but maybe that was ther servers. Anyway if you go here ask for Karen I guess, the food was worth the 2hr drive over Spur Tree Mountain. 😂

It's a really far but it was worth the drive. Very scenic drive lots of escallion farms along the way. It was very peaceful atmosphere, we ordered our food which was prepared to our liking. The jerk fish, the steam fish the fried fish were all perfectly and the presentation was quite pleasing. The service was great. We were entertained by the birds who we understood came out in great flock to feed on the fish "guts". We had a great evening and will definitely return again

I recently spent a few hours there with friends, enjoying the views and eating the delicious food. The food was amazing, I had fried fish, festival and bammy. I can’t wait to go again. Being near the ocean made it even better. I highly recommend.

My grandmother wanted some fresh fish so we came to Lil Ochie. We both chose Snapper and I got roasted while she got Brown Stew. We also got a cup of Fish tea and a Turmeric drink. The brown stew was the best and we enjoyed the entire meal.

I visited recently for a work team dinner, and it was an amazing experience. The food, the food....DI FOOD!!!!. Softest festivals ever, Fish prepared in every way possible, same for the lobster. Not to mention, the Octopus for those who are feeling to eat outside of the norm.
