This place has been in my List of places to visit for a while now. It’s a small cafe and they have wonderful options for desserts or snacks. Their croissants are so light and crunchy. Their fillings are not too sweet and are delicious. It’s a small cafe so, it might be too crowded or noisy. 100/10 would highly recommend this place.

Ordered the Oreo chocolate specialty drink. Looked appetizing and large on the screen, but when receiving it was a little smaller than expected. I was disappointed to find that most of the volume of the drink was ice, and ended up drinking it rather quickly - I also thought it would be sweeter, but that expectation might just be on me. Other than that, the service was delightful, and the atmosphere of the cafe was pretty cozy. It's a nice place to visit every now and again.

On Saturday morning after a long walk visited Little Pebbles Cafe. A very small cozy cafe serving coffee, tea, and various types of croissants. Tried viral kunafa croissant with latte. It was decent in taste but I had better. Coffee was good. So if you are in that area, you don't need to search for a good cafe, this one will satisfy you 😉

The strawberry croissant was soo good, the pastry was flaky and fresh, and the whipped cream inside was perfectly sweet. The biscoff caramel latte was also delicious and included a generous amount of toppings. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, I’ll definitely be returning :)

Ever wondered what the buzz around Dubai Chocolate was really about? We finally stopped by Little Pebbles in Kensington Market to see if this viral pastry café lived up to the hype — and it absolutely did. We kicked things off with the kunafa cups in strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio. Each bite had the perfect texture contrast — crispy kataifi pastry with silky mousse — and just the right touch of sweetness. Pistachio was the standout for its nutty depth, while strawberry added a bright, fruity pop. Meanwhile, the tiramisu latte was an experience: a bold, smooth espresso topped with a giant slice of tiramisu that slowly melted into the cup. Over-the-top and totally worth it! The orange matcha surprised us with its balance: deep, earthy matcha cut with a fresh citrus edge. And the hazelnut croissant? Buttery, flaky, and filled with just enough sweet cream to hit the spot. Beyond the viral items, what stood out was the quality. From De Mello Palheta beans to ceremonial-grade matcha and house-made black sesame, every element felt considered. ✨ To hear more about this review, CHECK US OUT on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, & LinkedIn.

Little Pebbles is a café I’d heard a lot about, and I finally had the chance to visit during my trip to Toronto last month. It absolutely lived up to the hype—charming, cozy, and filled with the comforting aroma of fresh-baked goods. I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu, and it was spot-on—perfectly sweet without being overwhelming, with that rich, spiced cookie flavor shining through. I had my heart set on their Tiramisu Latte, but it was sold out that day—definitely something I’ll be going back for. Their pastry case is full of tempting options, from flaky croissants to decadent cookies and beautifully crafted desserts. Combine that with the warm, adorable ambiance, and Little Pebbles makes for a delightful stop for any dessert lover.

I ordered their iced tiramisu latte. The latte is topped off with a nice mascarpone foam and a ladyfinger cookie for dipping. The latte was delicious and wasn’t overtly sweet. There isn’t much seating inside and can get crammed pretty quickly if there is a line.

A Hidden Gem in Kensington Market: A Cozy Café That Charms with Simplicity and Flavor Nestled in the vibrant heart of Kensington Market, this quaint little café is exactly the kind of discovery that makes wandering Toronto’s eclectic neighborhoods worthwhile. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere welcomes you with a calm, artsy energy that feels both intimate and Instagram-worthy—ideal for a quiet solo coffee break or a casual catch-up with a friend. Every corner of the café is thoughtfully designed, with cozy décor and natural lighting that makes it irresistible not to snap a few photos. The food display near the counter is particularly eye-catching, creating an inviting, almost rustic impression that reflects the charm of the place. We sampled a modest selection from their menu to get a feel for both their beverage and food offerings. The strawberry matcha was an instant highlight. A delicate balance of earthy matcha and subtly sweet strawberry syrup, the drink was not overpowering, allowing both flavors to shine through in harmony. Served chilled with a gentle swirl of colors, it was refreshing and visually delightful—a beverage that checks both the taste and aesthetic boxes. The regular cappuccino, while competently prepared, didn’t stand out in the same way. It was smooth, with a decent foam-to-milk ratio, but lacked the boldness or depth you might expect from a café that prides itself on curated experiences. That said, it did the job if you’re simply looking for a straightforward caffeine fix. What truly impressed was the everything bagel paired with sun-dried tomato cream cheese. The bagel was baked to perfection—crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside. The cream cheese was thoughtfully seasoned, with the sun-dried tomato lending a rich, tangy note that wasn’t overpowering. The texture was spot-on: neither too runny nor too dense, making it easy to spread and deeply satisfying with every bite. The contrast of warm, fresh bread with cool, flavorful spread made it a surprisingly memorable part of the visit. Another delightful touch: the café offers freshly baked bagels for sale, allowing patrons to take a bit of the experience home with them. It’s a smart and comforting gesture that adds a local, homey feel to the overall offering. In summary, while not every element was groundbreaking, the overall experience was filled with warmth, intention, and small delights that elevate a simple café visit into something a bit more special. If you find yourself in Kensington Market and are craving something cozy, photogenic, and quietly enjoyable—this spot deserves a stop.

Yelp
Little Pebbles is a cozy cafe with lovely decor that makes it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. I decided to try their matcha latte, and while it had some highlights, there were a few drawbacks as well. The matcha latte had a fairly balanced flavor--on the milky side, but I could still taste the matcha, which was nice. However, the texture was quite grainy, which took away from the overall experience. The drink also had a light color, hinting that the matcha-to-milk ratio might not be ideal for those who prefer a stronger matcha profile. While the ambiance of the cafe was delightful, the grainy texture and mild flavor of the matcha latte left room for improvement. It's a decent option if you're in the area, but not necessarily a standout for matcha lovers.

Yelp
Finally made our way to Little Pebbles downtown yesterday. We thought their pastries were a bit pricey but quite delicious! Our favorite was their match cream cube - you could really taste the freshness. The only disappointment was their black sesame latte; it was quite bland and could have used a tad bit more black sesame. Service was also good, there was a line up when we arrived and moved at a moderate pace.

Yelp
Kensington has many great places to grab food, but where to go for a nice warm cup of Matcha? I was drawn to Little Pebbles because of the cute name and the pastries to match. There were not many places to sit, but the counter person was kind and welcoming on this cold afternoon. I ordered a Vanilla Matcha latte and an almost too-pretty-to-eat pistachio croissant. Both were delicious; I would love to return and try more of their delicious treats. BB

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop in Kensington Market! I tried the tiramisu latte and almond chocolate croissant. My latte was super creamy and delicious. A little heavy on the cream. The croissant was just ok. The inside space is very small with limited seating.

Yelp
I really love this place; cozy and small café with creative menu options and helpful staff. Depending on the time of the day you arrive here, they might have different options to choose from. So far, I have tried their matcha tiramisu and cube croissants. And loved both of them. The cakes and pastries are fresh and tasty. You can also use cube croissants as a birthday cake. Lol

Yelp
Located in the vibrant Kensington Market, Little Pebbles is a charming spot that offers a cozy atmosphere despite its small size. While seating is limited, making it a place for a quick stop rather than a long stay, the environment is pleasant and inviting. I tried their strawberry croissant and latte during my visit. Both were enjoyable, though not particularly outstanding. The croissant was fresh and paired well with the latte, providing a satisfying break in my day. Despite the simplicity of the offerings, Little Pebbles is a great place to relax for a bit, especially considering the reasonable prices. If you're in the area and need a quick pick-me-up, it's definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Little Pebbles is one of my favourite spots in Toronto especially for their delicious croissants. After hearing about Little Pebbles opening up a new location nearby, I immediately had to give it a try! I really love their Kensington Market location but it is mostly a takeout spot so I'm glad there's a sit-in area at this new location. Raspberry Chocolate Cake: This is their Mother's Day exclusive cake that I decided to check it out. Admittedly I'm not a big chocolate person but still wanted to give it a try. The cake was quite good. Very diverse texture with their base going well with the rest. I wasn't a big fan of the topper but still overall a good cake especially if you like fruity chocolate flavours. Mango Passionfruit: With the warm weather, they have some refreshing drinks in their selection. The drink was a soda base drink with mango and passionfruit puree mixed in. Was pretty refreshing especially since it was a warm day when I visited! Downside though I do feel like it's a bit overpriced but still tasted good. There was a plenty of seating and saw some outlets by the window seating. I definitely feel like the spot is perfect both for working and catching up with a friend. It wasn't too squished in and had plenty of space.

Yelp
Saw the insane hype on insta about this place so definitely had to try it. The fact that I had to wait outside before I could actually enter told me that it must be good. Seating is limited and the place is pretty tiny (no bathroom!) but is heaving with people mainly wanting to have the viral croissants. The range was insane. Tuna onigiri as a croissant, the viral circle and cube croissants as well as SO many flavours. And everything looked so good. I opted for a strawberry latte and tiramisu croissant. Didn't realize strawberry latte meant strawberry and milk, but it was pretty good. Would've been better with a shot of espresso but I know for next time! The tiramisu croissant was creamy and rich with just the right amount of a coffee kick and not to sweet. But I did expect it to be a little warm instead of freezing cold, and was told by the staff that they can't warm it up (probably due to the cream). A nice bite nevertheless. A little pricey, but worth a try!

Yelp
Finally got my hands on these viral croissant ! This is from a cute little store in Kensington market. Cyclinder pistachio croissant was rich and nutty. The cube croissant was very fluffy with matcha and white chocolate filling inside. This little pebbles cafe specializes in Japanese style croissants and they range between 7 to 12$ each. So my verdict - 8/10! .. Location: Little pebbles cafe Kensington market, Toronto. ..

Yelp
Amazing amazing lattes, matchas and pastries! In Kensington Market on Baldwin Street. It's a small place with big flavors. They make their own baked goods. Their pastries are large, moist and creative. The details and care on their croissants are beyond me. The baker is a perfectionist. For something different try a cube croissant (aka a loaf). They even make fresh mochi! I like the fresh strawberry mochi. Two bites of heaven. Lots of varieties of drinks. I suggest asking them to make the obviously sweet drinks less sweet, but even standard they are great. I like the tiramisu latte and tiramisu matcha. Both are served with a cookie! During the winter I ask for the drink extra hot. That is my coffee secret for better tasting drinks from all coffee shops. There is a Jimmy's coffee across the street. And I like Jimmy's, but once you try Little Pebbles, you won't cross the street!

Yelp
I LOVE this cafe so much! They have fun croissant shapes/flavors and their tiramisu latte is heavenly. We were in Toronto for 4 days and we came here 3x. The people who work here are super nice and the space is very cute and cozy. There were Christmas decor and random cat decor on the tables! The tiramisu lattes are incredible! We didn't mix the amaretto syrup on the bottom so the drink was a perfect not too sweet level. My boyfriend had an epiphany as he finished the drink because the amaretto syrup has been slowly melting into the drink and he was hit with a burst of flavor towards the end where the syrup settled. He loved it! We returned two more times for the tiramisu latte. We also got the matcha tiramisu lattes and black sesame latte were also great! The stars of the show have to be the croissants! There were so many in the displays and they all looked delicious. Fun fact they taste as great as they look! We got the matcha raspberry cube croissant (fun shape, raspberry tartness goes well with matcha), mango passion fruit wheel croissant (this has to be my favorite because tropical flavors are so refreshing!), black sesame croissant (I'm a sucker for black sesame anything and this one has a rich flavor), pistachio croissant (delish!), yuzu coconut croissant (this one was so fun since I love yuzu but my brother has a nut allergy and there might've been Nutella in there?), cheesecake was standard but the black sesame chiffon cake with mascarpone cream was unreal (rich black sesame flavor)! Overall, I would definitely come back to Toronto for this cafe alone! I recommended it to several people who travelled to Toronto after Christmas!

Yelp
I ordered the coffee and a slice of cake. The coffee and cake were pretty good. Same as any other coffee shops in the area.
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
The pastries here are -- amazing! There's about six seats in the whole place, in a bizarre layout, and the queue management is a bit difficult while waiting for orders, and the coffee was meh, but the croissants-cum-fancy-pastries are sui generis and worth the visit all by themselves. The decor inside was actually very funky and cute, and if we'd been able to linger without feeling guilty we were occupying some precious seats, we would have.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
The service was fast and friendly. The lavender white chocolate latte was delicious. The crookie (croissant chocolate chip cookie hybrid) was also very good. A very tiny shop but very cute. Definitely worth the stop if you want a tasty drink and a yummy pastry.
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
The shop ambiance was very cozy and cute. I got the creme brulee latte, tiramisu matcha latte, and pistachio croissant. The drinks were just okay. The pistachio croissant was great though. I would return to try the rest of the baked goods.
google avatar

Phuong P.

Yelp
Busy spot. Lots of visits from tourists and locals alike, and I've eyed the croissant wheel here a while. There is absolutely no graceful way to consume a croissant wheel. Variety of flavours. Seating inside and patio.
google avatar

Jessie Z.

Yelp
Very small space with hidden bench seating. Came here on a cafe hop to try the tiramisu latte. The tiramisu latte looks like a tiramisu concept but doesn't have much flavor to it. Mostly cream. Just make sure to eat the lady finger before it disintegrates into the latte hehe. Usually popular, so I recommend coming here for to go items and maybe opting for crossiant instead.

Yelp
finally got to check out little pebbles. it's such a cute coffee shop in kensington. the shop is quite small, but manageable for those not hoping to dine-in. the staff was super friendly and the service was quick. the drinks were okay, their pastries is where its at. we got the black sesame and matcha croissant.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Cute cafe with Asian inspired pastries!! Got the black sesame croissant and mango passionfruit wheel croissant. Service was kind and quick, probably only seating for about 6 to fit comfortably. The black sesame croissant was rich with a black sesame cream that was present throughout the croissant. Lots of layers. I wish it was more of a black sesame custard (instead of a black sesame whipped cream) which would be a bit richer. Otherwise it was pretty good. The mango passionfruit wheel was also tasty, felt more mango flavored than passionfruit. Really enjoyed the custard in that. Personally I find wheel croissants difficult to eat, but this wasn't had. Outside was crispy and inside soft. If you're walking around Kensington Market or Chinatown this is a great spot for some pastries!
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
Having seen this all over Insta, I finally caved and went to try the matcha croissant cube! The cube came with powdered sugar on top and matcha cream inside - there were so many layers in the cube! Definitely an aesthetically pleasing item. The only thing I found was the pastry was a tad on the dry side so not sure how fresh it was, or perhaps the croissant recipe could use a bit more butter. I understand how impressive and difficult it is to have such perfect layers in a croissant (even harder that is shaped in a cube - they even have a wheel version, no idea how they prepare that). Anyway, I also ordered the strawberry matcha latte. This was a great pairing - sweet strawberry pieces mixed with the bitterness of matcha. There were several other pastries that caught my eye while ordering so I think I might come back to try them when I am back in the Kensington area. Hoping they taste as good as it looks!
google avatar

Morlene C.

Yelp
French pastries made with Asian flavors will always catch my attention, and Little Pebbles has this in spades. Their tiny storefront is easy to miss but feels like a small treasure trove once you enter (with just room for maybe 2-3 customers at a time). I tried the black sesame croissant and the matcha croissant, which is adorably topped with a little pocky stick. The desserts were not too sweet and quite fresh. It's a tiny storefront so there's no rest room for customers and no seating to speak of. We were there on a chilly day but "suffered" through eating outdoors for these unique confections.

Yelp
I have heard and seen the hype recently about round croissants. Did my research and had to try out a cafe while in Toronto. This small cafe is kind of in an Alleyway where Kensington Market and Chinatown is located. I came later that day and was a bit worried that they would run out of round croissant. It seems that they change flavor daily. Two options left and I got the mango flavor...not what I wanted but just wanted to try. My brother wanted regular strawberry croissant. The croissants weren't overly flakey but very soft. It wasn't too buttery/oily like usual ones I get. I thought it was a bit too sweet for me. I would recommend sharing it. Worth a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely stunning and unique baked goods! Almost too beautiful to eat but too good not to. Drinks were super fun and tasty!
google avatar

Milka L.

Yelp
Love love love this place for the strawberry mochi! I use to come pre covid all the time and this is my first time back since then (3 years) i live in the states so anyways it's been a long time and the mochi is still divine and they freaking had mango mochi!!!! I seen these kinda going viral and was very thrilled to try it and it was great. They have a great selection of other pastry's too bit I come for mochi!! Thank you to whoever makes them they are truly a gift to us all thank you thank you

Yelp
Came here on a weekday and it was quite busy. This location is quite cramped. I ordered a crookie to share with my boyfriend and it was okay. The croissant was very crispy and overall tasty, but I found the cookie to be a bit too hard. It costed about $7.
google avatar

Connie L.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised that the Croissant Cube tasted just as good as it looked (the matcha cream inside was delicious, and the pastry was amazingly flaky). The main downside to this cafe are it's drinks - matcha espresso latte was pretty tasteless and the matcha yuzu drink was funky. The citrus matcha combo did not work together lol. The cafe itself is also tiny (maybe 6 seats overall) so it's better for just a quick bite or takeout. In terms of staff, they were all helpful & polite. Overall, I'd recommend their pastries but pass on the drinks.
google avatar

Jeslyn X.

Yelp
The place seemed to be instagramable from the photos, but wasn't as good as I expected. Located in Kensington Market, can miss it easily if you don't pay attention. The inside space was quite small, limited seats. The desserts and drink were ok, nothing really to be 'wowed' about. If have to say then puff tasted good.
google avatar

Cassandra M.

Yelp
I was craving croissants and came across Little Pebbles. The place was cozy and cute with a nice little seating area. The staff was friendly and patient with their customers. There were a lot of drinks and desserts to choose from so I'd love to come back and try them all. We ordered the pistachio white chocolate wheel, almond chocolate and the raspberry matcha cube croissants. We also got the matcha tiramisu latte. The matcha tiramisu latte was wonderful. It had the perfect creaminess balanced by the matcha. A great drink to keep you warm. Both the pistachio white chocolate wheel and the almond chocolate croissant were great. They were buttery and flaky. The filling of the wheel croissant was a nice sweet surprise. The cube croissant was okay. It wasn't as buttery as I would've liked it to be and the bitterness of the matcha was a bit overpowering.
google avatar

Kimberly M.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this location while visiting Kensington market. The highlight of this visit was their delicious coffee and dessert. The hazelnut croissant was the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolate. If you're a chai drinker then would recommend their latte , it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. Would come back if ever in town again!
google avatar

Bally L.

Yelp
This was a random patisserie that we passed by in Kensington Market. They sell a variety of cool pastries such as croissant squares, giant loaves of bread, and other aesthetic sweets. We tried the raspberry pistachio tart and the caramel churro croffle. The pistachio tart was so good! Creamy and not too sweet. The croffle was ok; it tasted a little hard/stale as if it was sitting in the display for too long. There's limited seating inside as the cafe is quite small. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out!
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
We came here to get the black sesame croissant and the sesame lattes. It was good but the croissants tasted like it was overnight... it was not freshly baked at all especially if you come first thing in the morning. It tasted just like a black sesame cream puff - nothing special about it. The sesame latte you can choose your sugar level. I did the no sugar and it was good but most people probably would prefer some sort of sweetness to it for the taste.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the VIRAL CROISSANTS, and LEFT with the VIRAL CROISSANTS in my belly Got lucky, went there right before the line got crazy. The price for the viral croissants were def a bit more $$ than normal ones. BUT IS IT WORTH IT YOU ASK? YES!! The ones i got were pistachio with white chocolate ganache flavour. It was super fluffy but STUFFED with the delicious ganache. And the best part is, its not SUPER sweet which is perfect for my asian tongue highly recommend! I also got the tiramisu latte, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it didnt really taste like anywhere near the tiramisu. Its more like latte with a biscuit that became a soggy mess after. Sorry but not a fan. I would go for regular lattee drinks or coffee over this. Check out my tiktok for some video content at @spiritedlaway Overall 5/5 for the croissants, 1/5 for the tiramisu latte.

Yelp
Little Pebbles is a quaint cafe in Kensington Market that gained some online popularity due to their cube shaped croissants. We dropped by on a Thursday morning and it was actually quite busy. FOOD (4/5) We opted to pick up a hazelnut croissant which was glazed in semi-sweet dark chocolate and topped with hazelnut crumble. The filling was a nutella/chocolate that provided most of the sweetness. Due to the chocolate glaze, the croissant wasn't flaky but was still really fluffy and light. DRINKS (3.5/5) We ordered a Flat White and a hot Black Sesame Latte. The flat white was pretty standard with a flat velvety steamed milk, though I would've preferred some latte art. They use Di Mello beans I believe which is consistent with a lot of other cafes in Toronto. The black sesame latte was not bad. Don't expect the sweet Asian black sesame taste you would find in desserts, but rather a more roasted and earthy flavour. Still tasted good but just wasn't the initial expectation. AMBIENCE (4.5/5) The interior is super quaint with about 6-8 counter seats along the wall. There is a small set of steps inside which does limit the space for guests. There is a nice decorated wall with these sequin-like square things(?) and imitation vines. ACCESSIBILITY (4/5) The cafe is quite easy to get to as it is a short walk from Dundas/Spadina which is accessible by streetcar. Like most places downtown, car accessibity is super limited and I don't recommend trying to find parking around Kensington. PRICE (3.5/5) Price was pretty in line with most other Toronto cafes. The croissant was $6 which is a smidge more than most but nothing crazy. OVERALL (4/5) Little Pebbles is a nice quaint cafe with great pastry selections and good coffee. If you're ever in the Kensington area, be sure to check it out!

Yelp
A little Japanese cafe tucked in Kensington Market, Little Pebbles is a cafe worth the hype. While it was too hot out a few days ago, my friends & I were looking for drinks to cool us down (I know, shame on us for not bringing some H2O). Though unassuming, Little Pebbles caught my eye immediately because all I saw was "tiramisu latte". Say whattttt?! I have no idea what magic they pulled but dang, the baristas made THE perfect cup of tiramisu latte. The cream was smooth and rich, balanced with light cocoa powder on top. That in itself blended well into the latte to give the drink so much depth in flavor and yet, it did all of that without losing the taste of espresso. Bravo for an awesome cup of joe, Little Pebbles!
google avatar

Claudine L.

Yelp
Wanted to try the cube croissant and their matcha latte. It was on the pricier side, I think I spent forty dollars on two pastries and two drinks. The place itself is pretty small and it gets packed really fast. Service was okay and the food came out fairly quickly.
google avatar

Selena C.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've come here and I was pleasantly surprised today. I asked the lady at the counter for her recommendation on the croissants because they all honestly looked delicious (strawberry and cream, black sesame and matcha raspberry). She told me the strawberry and cream is a bit heavier, the black sesame has less of a black sesame flavour on the actual croissant because it's activated charcoal used for the color (only the filling is black sesame) and the matcha one isn't too sweet. i ultimately got the matcha one because i felt the raspberry filling was unique. I'm so glad i did because it tasted delicious. Not too buttery or greasy and definitely not too sweet. It had a nice matcha flavour and it went well with the raspberry. I would come back again and get more in the future because i enjoyed eating every bite!

Yelp
This is a tiny little spot I. Kensington market but absolutely worth a stop. The combination of a croissant and waffle is absolutely amazing. I tried it with so much curiosity! Would this work? Yes! It had the crisp of the waffle and the layers of a croissant. The people that work here are friendly and helpful with your questions. Definitely, would come here again.

Yelp
Little Pebbles is a cute small Japanese coffee shop with a lovely assortment of pastries. This is my second time visiting Toronto, and I had to come back to visit. I have to say the speed and service has improved, and the coffee does not disappoint. The decor is clean and simple, very cute. Unfortunately I don't think there's enough space for someone who would want to do some work / study in this coffee shop, but it's a nice place to sit down and chat with a friend. I ordered the white chocolate lavender latte and it was the perfect temperature to stay warm - nothing that caused any burns in my mouth. Definitely my go to spot for coffee!

Winnie L.

Yelp
Pro-tip: If you're looking for a crispy flaky croissant, look elsewhere. Highlights: The store is really cute and I love the flavor profiles they offer like black sesame, hojicha, and Earl grey and the overall presentation is fun. The black sesame flavor in the croissant was great. Lowlights: I was extremely disappointed with the black sesame croissant. The croissant is cold which takes away any chance of having flaky layers and lamination. It's just bread with lots of cream sandwiched in between.

Yelp
Yum! That's all I can say Buy 6 and pay no tax In Kensington Sorry the photo of the plain and chocolate cause it was blurry
google avatar

Laura T.

Yelp
We've had there Japanese Strawberry shortcake and croissants for years, this place has recently gained more popularity for their cube shaped croissant, and I can tell you that you're better off just ordering a regular croissant from them. It's much easier to eat with the same flavours and taste! The coffee lattes are okay here, I personally don't think it's their strongest menu items but they will do if your already here.
google avatar

Yelp
So cute and the almond croissant may have stolen My heart. Must try! Small place can get busy and very little seating but it's a must visit in my opinion

Yelp
Got to stop into this viral croissant spot while visiting Toronto. And it did not disappoint. Along with a beautiful black sesame croissant I ordered a tiramisu latte--it was so delicious. I cannot wait to come back and try more pastries. Not much seating inside, so if you can't snag one of the select seats inside your best option is to take it to go.

Yelp
I wanted to try all their Asian inspired treats, but alas I only had room for a couple: I expected their matcha cookie to be chewy, but it was painfully overbaked (dark and burnt-tasting on the edges). I couldn't taste either the matcha or white chocolate, so it was quite a shame. The matcha croissant was beautiful and had a pleasant, slightly buttery matcha cream. I thought the croissant itself would have matcha flavoring (employee said matcha was baked in there) but I couldn't taste it. The croissant was made well though, flaky and slightly sweet, and it paired nicely with the matcha cream. The matcha cream was definitely the star of this pastry. There was a tiny bit of raspberry jam in the middle as well, but the tiny amount made the pastry taste unbalanced; I'd almost rather it not be there at all or have a better matcha to croissant to jam ratio. Overall, I was expecting to be blasted by matcha, but my experience was a bit underwhelming. Perhaps their black sesame items pack more of a flavor punch, but I'm not sure I'd come back just for that (matcha is my love).

Yelp
Quaint, little cafe in the heart of Kensington Market offering various sweet treats and drinks. Prices are on the higher end for the moderate quality of pastries they're offering. I tried their assorted croissants and wasn't really impressed. The Hazelnut Chocolate, Almond Chocolate and Pain Au Chocolat croissants all tasted similar and found the chocolate a touch too sweet even though they used Belgian dark chocolate. The croissants are not as flaky and buttery tasting and a little bit dense for my liking. The Korean Hotdog croissant is one of the worst croissant I've ever tasted. The hotdog was burnt (as you can see from my photo) and everything tasted dry. The hotdog was also over salty and the flavour combination of sweet and salty didn't work well in this croissant. Service was also disappointing and rushed. I was given something that I didn't originally ordered (paid for it though) but was already home when I found out about this. There was only 1 staff that acts as a cashier and order taker at the same time so this explains my order mishap. There are other spots in Toronto to grab delicious baked goods so I know I won't be a repeat customer of Little Pebbles.

Yelp
The space is super cute but very small, I suggest grabbing and going. I ordered the rum raisin pistachio dessert. I loved the cream inside, it was buttery, light and airy. However, it did not taste like pistachio. I tasted 0 rum flavour or raisin. It tasted like nothing and the pastry dough itself tasted old and lack lustre. There is no parking, there's either a parking garage or street parking. I parked at a subway station and took transit down.

Yelp
I've been seeing their cube croissants online for quite sometime now. Decided to drop by and give it a try. We ordered the pistachio filled croissant and sesame croissant. We also got a hojicha and matcha latte. The croissants are crisp, buttery with a nice chewy texture on the inside. Both the pistachio cream and sesame creams are amazing. The store is cozy and aesthetic, although they don't have much seating on the inside. The croissants are quite pricy, however they are definitely worth trying.
