Insane book selection. What a gem!!!

Yes this multi-shack nook store is actually open 24/7. It's self-serve and you pay cash into a money box on the porch. Lots of fun. Spaces are not heated in winter so dress warmly.

My favorite place to find new and unique books for my collection! This is a passion project business that I hope stays open forever!

One of my favorite places where all the paperbacks are 50 cents and the hardcovers are a buck. She has wonderful books and I recommend the collection. I always leave with piles of books. Awesome music section too.

What a wonderful well loved unique bookstore in Tivoli! Definitely worth a stop. My group of 7 all found a treasure, books, dvds, comic books, records. Plan to spend some time exploring the vast collection. Did I mention everything $1 or less.

Melanie Nelson is a delightful person with a great idea, to sell these used books and more at super low prices, so everyone can indulge their wishes for books and music. The Little Red Book Shack is a special place and really worth a trip!

A book store with over thousands upon thousands of books, open 24 hours, and everything is less than a $1. I kind of want to move in. I will always try to make it a point to stop here. Got all these books for under $10.

I've been coming to the Little Red Book Shack for over a decade now, and I still find it a magical place to visit! There are multiple self-serve sheds on the property to explore that are filled to the brim with 1000s of books, all for $1 or less. There are also a ton of DVDs, vinyls, and even sheet music. If you are a bibliophile, this is a must-see! She's even set up places around the property where you can read and relax. Just be sure to check their website or call before you go, to make sure it's open, and note that it's closed in the wintry weather. Also, there is no heat in the sheds, so bundle up!

This place is amazing. It's just a roadside book stand, open 24/7. With so many different little buildings for books based on subject, you can spend hours here looking thru everything. And it's cheap. There are definitely treasures here.

This book hunter's gem is actually several buildings with rows of used books and is very well organized by subject and alphabetically by author as well. There's also an open-front shack of children's books with small chairs so kids can amuse themselves. Prices? A Dollar a hardback! Pay on the porch. You may not even see the owner. Very broad selection. No disappointments here.

This gem of a roadside attraction is a group of shacks filled with quality books. Hardcover are $1 and paper cover are 50 cents; also many vinyl LP's. The owner opens on weekends noon to 5pm.
