Little San Salvador Island

Every time I dock at this island, I start singing Coldplay's 'Paradise' as this truly is a paradise!! The sand is so white and clean, and the water is spectacular! It is so refreshing and rejuvenating. The beach is spotless, and lounge chairs are provided free of charge. There are no umbrellas, but you can find areas of shade to move a chair under if needed. The cruise crew do a great job at hosting a BBQ lunch on the island which includes such items as burgers, salads, coleslaw, fruit and sweets. Ice cream is also available as are water and lemonade etc. Facilities are clean and bathrooms are well maintained. You can prebook shore excursions if desired ( horse back riding, jet skis etc) but I always choose to simply relax and enjoy this beautiful place

I have been here multiple times and will always live how relaxing this place is. If you get a chance take a carnival cruise or one of the sister lines that also stop there.

Half Moon Cay is a stunning private island with pristine white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and a peaceful, tropical atmosphere. It feels like a true paradise, perfect for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying the natural beauty. An unforgettable and truly special place.

The island is gorgeous. The buffet is not overcrowded which is great so no long lines. However there is very little to do on the island and not many amenities

The Half Moon Cay is a private beach usually reserved for cruise tourists. Just a nice and crowded beach and seaside activities

It was a paradise, turquoise water, white sand, blue sky, white clouds. The weather was perfect. BBQ served on the beach. A chance to see stingrays. No birds to view at this time. Chicken was running about.

Also known as Half Moon Cay, this is a tiny private island in the Bahamas, and probably one of the most beautiful islands in the region as well. The water at the beach is a clear crystal blue and the sand is soft and fun to walk on. There are a lot of activities here as well such as stingray watching, boating, and snorkelling. This may not be the best place to shop though for souvenirs because they’re a bit pricey. Island is also known for birds although I mostly saw chickens and roosters.
