Little Sister Lounge

I almost never leave reviews, but this experience at Little Sister Lounge was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn people. There was no actual line, just a random crowd gathered outside while the bouncers stood at the door picking and choosing who they felt like letting in. We waited in the cold for 30 minutes, standing near the front the entire time, watching them let in people they clearly knew while everyone else was ignored. When they finally acknowledged us, we were told it would be $300 per person to get in. No explanation. No posted pricing. Nothing. It felt completely arbitrary and very sketchy. On top of that, the bouncers were rude and dismissive the entire time. Zero professionalism. Zero transparency. There are too many good places in NYC to waste your time and money here. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Don’t waste time to go here as they may ruin your night. With guest list or not. They only select people they think its profitable on their business. Only if this Head Doorman is more professional to tell people early that they’re not selected on their preference or tell people that they need to be in the guess list. However, we experience discrimination and racism even we dress nice.

Unfortunately, the Tao group ruined the nightlife in New York. They have the worst bouncers ever. They speak arrogantly as if they are doing you a favor. The person at the door asked me if I had a reservation. I said no, I was alone. He told me then entry is $200 or a table is $2500!! Are you serious? Why would I pay $200 in a bar? As for me, I will not go anywhere under their management.

Extremely unwelcoming and inconsiderate staff. The bouncers disregarded our presence as we waited and spoke to them very politely. When we finally got their attention they disrespected our presence and were incredibly rude. An extremely poor reflection on the TAO group — quite sad.

Awful experience. Worst of my life. The staff is the most aggressive and physical I have ever seen; we got trampled and harassed by bouncers inside the establishment a thousand times. There were a ton of drunk people around and yet they chose to harass us because we were “blocking the walkway” when the entire dance floor is a walkway. They let in 15-year-olds. Terrible DJ. 1 drink was 40 dollars. If I could give 0 stars I would. The manager, or whoever Pablo is, was incredibly rude to my friend for no reason, spoke to her like a boomer uncle who wants respect from 30 year olds. They have people waiting in the cold and freezing to death when the place is empty.

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. An employee named Jay threatened me and said he was going to slap me. When I stood up for myself, he called over multiple security guards instead of handling the situation professionally. I felt disrespected and unsafe. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any establishment. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic respect and customer safety. Plus the drinks suck.

I had an extremely upsetting experience at Little Sister. While I was there, a man poured a bottle on my head without any provocation. It was humiliating and frightening, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun night out. I expected the staff to intervene or offer some support, but that didn’t happen. No one deserves to be treated this way or to feel unsafe in a public place. I’m sharing this so others are aware and so the management understands how important it is to handle incidents like this seriously.

If any police are reading this, all you gotta do is go there any night and see dozens of underage girls and rampant drug use/fights - It's a complete wild west. It's amazing that the city can do such a poor job dealing with places like these that violate multiple laws and operate with impunity.
