Great little coffee shop, very popular with locals. Worked well as a stop for us. Very good coffee, range of savouries looked tasty. We had wonderful mandarin and dark chocolate muffins, warmed slightly and delicious!

Went past Amberley and stopped at this little cafe. The seating a bit crowded and there was a queue. Service was friendly. The coffee was not hot enough for my liking, it was just warm, but it tasted good. The muffin was surprisingly yummy with a nice crust, fluffy inside and you can see the mandarin and chocolate as you get into it. Overall I think it’s a nice place to stop by, but not if you want to enjoy a longer meal time.

Delightful stop for brunch when driving from ChCh to Kaikoura. The chicken jalopeno sandwich was amazing!!! My husband had the breakfast burrito and enjoyed that as well. The staff were super friendly and fast service. The only downside, if it's busy, it gets VERY noisy inside (hard to hear yourself think). Thankfully, it was a nice day, so we just sat outside :) highly recommend!

Ridiculously exceptional coffee. I don’t know how they make it so good, even with oat milk! Staff are brilliant too, lovely friendly people who remember a face. Favourite spot to stop for some sanity.

The soy latte in our keepcup was exceptional. We had hoped to try the famous cheesecake, but unfortunately, it was already sold out by 1 pm. We'll have to give it a try next time we visit.

My friends and I dropped in after a tramp, lovely and comfortable. I had the bacon and egg bap and it was delicious with a large flat white. I couldn't fault it hot and nourishing. Thank you

Stopped by on our way up to Picton after leaving Christchurch for coffee and something to eat. Quite funny that after 3 weeks of driving around beautiful New Zealand the best coffee we taste was at the Little Vintage Expresso Cafe and it was made by a fellow Aussie. We do know how to make a good coffee after all 🙂 Not only was the coffee great but the slices were amazing as well and disappeared quickly!
