Little Vintage Espresso Café

Amazing food, big portions, welcoming staff, great coffee. Asked to swap bacon for salmon in the Big Breakfast option - no questions asked, gladly did that and didn't even ask for an extra charge. Highly recommended!!

We had the most delicious breakfast today. You have to try the breakfast burrito it was so fresh ... someone definitely knows how to put together a perfect combination of delicious and fresh food...grea tea and coffee in a quaint setting and with added style 👌

Went past Amberley and stopped at this little cafe. The seating a bit crowded and there was a queue. Service was friendly. The coffee was not hot enough for my liking, it was just warm, but it tasted good. The muffin was surprisingly yummy with a nice crust, fluffy inside and you can see the mandarin and chocolate as you get into it. Overall I think it’s a nice place to stop by, but not if you want to enjoy a longer meal time.

Delightful stop for brunch when driving from ChCh to Kaikoura. The chicken jalopeno sandwich was amazing!!! My husband had the breakfast burrito and enjoyed that as well. The staff were super friendly and fast service. The only downside, if it's busy, it gets VERY noisy inside (hard to hear yourself think). Thankfully, it was a nice day, so we just sat outside :) highly recommend!

We had the Vic breakfast. Delicious, lovely grainy bread, yummy cheese kranskys instead of standard sausages, chunky house made beans, mushrooms with a sprinkle of dukkah, perfectly poached eggs. Highly recommended.

Not a bad wee Cafe! It's a cute building with not much seating inside but that adds to the coziness I think. Good selection of cabinet food, the coffee was just ok (pretty week, but you might love the strength!), food was heated up when we asked for it cold but otherwise I nice spot.

I was delighted that my tea came in such a nice teapot and matching cup. And they used tea leaves (not a tea bag) so my green tea was steeped with plenty of room to release its flavours.

Great little coffee shop, very popular with locals. Worked well as a stop for us. Very good coffee, range of savouries looked tasty. We had wonderful mandarin and dark chocolate muffins, warmed slightly and delicious!

Had lunch with two friends. They had pumpkin soup which was smooth and creamy, and very tasty. I had a delicious spinach, goat cheese, balsamic and roast tomato dish. The coffee was awesome! I would recommend this little gem to anyone driving through Amberley on their way North or South.

Nice breakfast place in Amberley. Good coffee. Menu and food surpassed my expectations. The banana toast with syrup and ice cream was top shelf good!
